“Kristina is first rate! She listened to our pups needs and went over and beyond to show them love. She played with them, shared a photo, and gave them extra care during her visit. I will definitely use her again.”

About: My name is Katie and I am a doctoral student studying Industrial and Organizational Psychology. I am hoping to start up a non-profit senior dog rescue sanctuary in the near future. I have loved dogs since I was a baby. I grew up with all kind of dogs from Irish Setter to Gordon Settler to Lab to Cocker Spaniels. Now I’m raising 5 years old border collie and 3 years old black lab. I am usually free in late afternoons, evenings and on the weekends. I do also work from home and can adjust my schedule a little bit if you need me during the day. When I’m not in school or working, I enjoys reading, walking and geeking out at the museums. Please feel free to reach out anytime if you have questions. I look forward to hear from you! During the weekdays, I usually take dogs out for potty every two to three hours and I would take them out for a walk in morning, during lunch break, and in evening. I usually give two meals a day (morning and evening) and set a time aside to play with them. I live in a house and have two friendly dogs that can play with your puppy. I also have a crate in case your dog needs to be crated. My home also has a huge backyard for the dogs to play in. For safety reasons, I prefer to supervise the dogs while they are in the backyard.

About: I have had pets my entire life and understand how important it is to know they are being well taken care of. I love all animals and would love to take care of your family member(s)! I recently retired and am learning how to navigate all the free time I now have. I have been a pet/animal lover my entire life. I look forward to caring for your family member. I will make sure that your instructions/preferences are adhered to and that everything is handled to your satisfaction and expectations.
“Thank you for taking care of Lulu! She seemed to have fun and got along well with Andreah. I was at ease knowing she was well taken care of. Will definitely book again!”

About: I have dog/cat sat for family, friends, family friends and many others. Both in house/overnight, as well as taking dogs on walks and having playtime. I'm used to both younger and older animals and set my pace to match their own. I have dealt with many forms of administering medicine to animals. My goal, as in my headline, is to cater to you and your pet. Not all animals are the same! Some animals require lots of attention and comfort and others need a far slower pace. Whatever works best for your animal is what I will do. I am great at approaching animals slowly and calmly so that they can adjust to my presence. Above all, I wish to bring the least stress to your pet with my presence if they are not a social animal. Overall my overnight stays/days spent taking care of other animals (not my own) amounts to about 1 year of continuous experience. I have come to learn how to handle both dogs and cat extremely well but am more than capable and willing to learn/care for any other type of pet! I volunteer part-time so I have plenty of time on my hands to watch your pets! I can stay fully inside your house for overnight visits and not leave much or check in on them periodically, whichever works best for you. If I am to be absent from your house for any reason (likely volunteering) I will have discussed it with you prior to the sitting and will only be gone for a maximum of 5 hours (accounting for travel time). I will avoid having any volunteer hours on any days that I am pet sitting as often as I can help it! I cater to you and your pets before my own personal desires. As often as your pet wants to play I will play! I can go on multiple walks a day with them. If you prefer that they be away from other animals on walks I will find a more secluded area. All animals are different and require different needs. I largely base my activities during pet sitting or playtime/walks off of what the client needs for their pets rather than prior experience that I have. When I first introduce myself to your pet it will be slow and gradual (offering my hand to sniff, not making eye contact, allowing them to adjust to my presence and come to me first) unless of course they're open upon me entering!

“Given how fearful Simba is and that this was Simba's first time with Katie, we were pleased he was wagging his tail during her visit, and ate his dinner with her there. She was very patient with him on the meet and greet and this helped a lot as he learns to trust her. We are using her again this weekend. She has a very calm gentle manner with our old guy, and was very receptive to our suggestions on how to build that trust with him.”
About: I have cared for all types of dogs. I have had dogs all my life. Neighbors call me when they need their dog cared for. They are all loved like they are our own. My husband and I work from home so your pup will not be alone. They will be able to play and be loved and adored all day long. Although I'm new to Rover I'm not new to caring for dogs. I have a fenced yard and a fenced dog run area. They have activities to keep them happy all day and other dogs to play with. Your furbaby will have a great day while they are with us and you are out doing what you need to do. Pictures or texts will be sent. I have 1 mellow cat that gets along with all dogs, but she can be put away if your loved furbaby prefers. I am home all day with your fur baby. So I am available to care and be with our baby all day. They will get great care! Your baby will get to play all day, have breaks, eat on your schedule. Please provide their food and any snacks you wish them to have.
“Ander came to our rescue after a last-minute cancellation left us scrambling to find someone to drop in! Thankfully, Ander was incredibly quick to respond and eager to help us out despite the quick turnaround, so our anxiety was short-lived. Throughout booking to drop in, Ander remained responsive, kept us in the loop, and saved my pups from an uncomfortable day cooped up at home alone. We hope to work with Ander again soon!”

About: Hello, I'm Cassie! I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Human Resource Management, and I’m a dedicated pet lover. I have two fur babies of my own: Ollie, a 5-year-old Border Collie mix with the soul of an old man—he’s a couch potato at heart! Onyx, my 3-year-old Lab, is my cuddle bug who’s always hungry and known for her adorable drooling (it’s a Lab thing!). They both love walks, car rides, and playtime, and they’ve taught me how to balance fun and relaxation when caring for pets. Growing up, I’ve had the joy of raising dogs and caring for both puppies and older pets. My family also has a Husky-German Shepherd mix who loves to play fetch and swim at the river in Parker, AZ. I’m equally comfortable caring for cats, whether it’s engaging with playful kittens or providing comfort to indoor cats. I’m passionate about providing personalized care and love to your pet(s). Whether they enjoy long walks, active play, or simply need companionship, I’ll make sure they feel at home. Feel free to reach out—I respond quickly and can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends! Pet care is a priority in my routine. I dedicate time each morning for walks and play, ensuring pets receive exercise, attention, and love throughout the day. In your pet’s desert paradise, I craft a secure and comfy space! With playful antics and open communication, I build trust and ensure every pet has a blast!

About: I’ve been dog sitting and house sitting for about 4 years now, caring for all kinds of pets from chill, low maintenance dogs to super high-energy ones that need a lot of attention and exercise. I’m very comfortable with daily routines like feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and even giving medications if needed. I’ve also cared for multiple pets at once, so I know how to manage different personalities and keep everything running smoothly. Since I’m active, I make sure dogs actually get real exercise and attention not just the bare minimum. Whether that’s longer walks, play sessions, or just keeping them company, I adjust based on what your pet needs. I also have a lot of experience staying in clients’ homes, so I understand the importance of keeping things clean, secure, and exactly how you left them. I treat both your pets and your home with respect. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels comfortable and you feel completely at ease while you’re away. My schedule is pretty flexible, so I’m able to give pets a lot of attention throughout the day. I’m active and like being out, so walks, playtime, and check-ins fit naturally into my routine. I’m available most days for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, and I do my best to work around your pet’s normal schedule so everything feels consistent for them. I always treat every home and pet with respect, like it’s my own. I make sure doors are secure, routines are followed, and your pet is always safe and comfortable. I pay attention to details like feeding, behavior, and surroundings so nothing gets overlooked. Whether I’m in your home or stopping by, my goal is to keep things clean, calm, and stress-free for your pet.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Marana
Kemma was an excellent petsitter! She definitely had a challenging sit! An aging blind, diabetic Pomsky that needed insulin shots. She also had to learn how to feed my Sun Conure and Green Cheek Conure. For both task - she was upfront and stated that she had no prior experience. Prior to the actual sit, she came and we went over everything together. Kemma is a very fast learner! She did have an incident with my Green Cheek and got bit during one of the feeding. Other than that all was well. I would definitely have her back again for future sits!

This is our second time booking Megan, and we’re so impressed with her. She took care of our boy for 3 days and was incredibly flexible with a last-minute schedule change, which we really appreciated. She also provided multiple, detailed updates throughout the stay, giving us peace of mind that our dog was in great hands. Highly recommend! Thank you again Megan!! Snuck will definitely be seeing you again soon.

Jeremiah was wonderful to work with from the very beginning. Before our first meet and greet, he asked a lot of thoughtful questions to learn more about both my dog and cat, which really showed how much he cares about the pets he looks after. He has a very calm and kind demeanor, which was especially important for my dog since he can be a little nervous around new people. Right away, I felt confident that Jeremiah would be a great fit. For our first drop-in visit, he was very accommodating and even extended his time to meet our needs. He also sent regular updates and pictures, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. It was so reassuring knowing my dog had a buddy to keep him company for several hours. I would definitely recommend Jeremiah to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Marana with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
