“Alyssa is amazing! She has taken care of our 4 kitties twice now. She’s punctual and truly cares about your pets! She takes the time to get to know your animals and is very communicative should anything come up. We will use her again for our next trip.”

“Robert is absolutely amazing! He is super helpful, keeps us updated on our pup, and has been very patient with Juno! Couldn't recommend a better sitter than him, and we're so lucky to have him helping us out!”

About: I currently have a 10 year old small rescue dog of my own. She was shy at first but after much love and caring I got her out of her shell. I have experience with rescue dogs and dogs requiring special medication/needs. I am taking care of my dog with Addison's disease, requiring daily medicine and special food diet. I can take dogs on long walks, to the dog park, stay over at your place to comfort them and get plenty of play/ love time. I am a grad student with a flexible schedule and can cater to you and your dogs needs to ensure they have a great time away. My whole life I have had small/ medium dogs as family pets and can manage to take care of them. I also have a small kitten that I recently adopted to house train. I have a love for animals. Looking forward to meeting the dogs/ cats and owners! Looking forward to being flexible with your schedule and pets needs. I am a morning person and would love to start my day and end my day with your pet. I have a fenced yard that is safe for the animals. I am able to crate animals safely if need be and let them out often to roam the house. Also, feel confident in halter/leash set-up to ensure great walks!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs, horses, goats, etc. my whole life. I can provide specialized care for your pet whether senior dog or a puppy. I make my own schedule so I can tailor my schedule to fit needs of your pet. I will be able to find times to care for your pet throughout the day. I have a single story home with all tile floors. I provide water and food in an accessible area. I do not have a yard but an area by my condo to walk and take dogs to go potty.
About: 🐾 Hi! I’m someone who has grown up around animals my entire life — dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, and more — and caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. From a young age, I helped care for family pets, and over the past several years, friends and neighbors have regularly trusted me to care for their pets while they travel or work. In December 2025, after multiple recommendations from friends and neighbors, I decided to join Rover to expand my pet care services within my community. What started as part-time pet sitting has recently grown into expanded availability for boarding, house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walks. I currently share my home with both dogs and cats, so I’m very familiar with daily routines, supervising interactions, reading body language, and creating a calm, structured environment for animals with different personalities and energy levels. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, exercise needs, comfort levels, behavior changes, medications, and making sure pets feel safe, secure, and cared for while away from their owners. I’m also comfortable administering oral medications with clear instructions from pet parents. I have experience assisting with injectable medications for cats as well and am comfortable following detailed instructions for administration and care. 🐶 What Makes My Care Special: • Lots of playtime, enrichment, walks, cuddle time, and attention • Interactive toys, feeders, chew toys, and activities to keep pets mentally stimulated • Consistent communication and photo updates throughout stays • A calm, loving, low-stress home environment • Care tailored to each pet’s personality, routine, and comfort level Because I have both dogs and cats at home, it’s important that pets staying with me are safe around small animals and cats. Friendly or indifferent is perfectly fine, but I cannot accept pets with a history of aggression, high prey drive, or unsafe behavior toward cats or smaller animals. I also like to discuss each dog’s comfort level, socialization, routine, and needs beforehand to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone. I’m also open to house sitting when it’s the right fit. Because I have pets of my own, they would need to come with me for longer stays. They’re friendly, well-socialized, and respectful in the home environment, and I always prioritize maintaining a safe, calm, and comfortable space for everyone involved. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, so I truly aim to treat every animal like family while they’re with me. 🐶🐱💛 Pet care already fits naturally into my daily routine. My pets are very active, so walks, enrichment, playtime, and outdoor time are already a regular part of my day. I recently transitioned into doing pet care full-time and currently have expanded availability for boarding, drop-ins, walks, house sitting, and accepting new one-time and repeat clients. Because pet care is now my primary focus, I’m home the majority of the time and able to provide lots of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I maintain a clean, calm environment, supervise interactions closely, follow routines carefully, and do my best to make every pet feel safe, secure, and comfortable while in my care.
“We had a great experience with Lauren. She came by to let out my dogs Presley and Kovu and took such good care of them. She was reliable and communicative. The dogs seemed happy and comfortable with her. We really appreciated the updates and care she gave them and would absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend!”

About: What sets me apart is my calm, patient approach and strong attention to detail. I make sure each pet feels comfortable and understood, and I take the time to learn their individual preferences, sensitivities, and quirks. Whether your pet needs structured play, slow-paced walks, medication given on schedule, or extra reassurance while you’re away, I’ve got them covered. I’m currently a full-time veterinary student, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet care. I’m able to fit visits, drop-ins, and walks around my classes, and I always make sure I have dedicated time to give each pet the attention they need. I treat your home with the same respect I give my own. I keep feeding areas clean, tidy up any messes, and make sure the space is safe before I leave. I’m detail-oriented and safety-focused, and I never rush through visits—I want every pet to feel cared for, not just “checked on.”

“We used alternating "day-care" and "drop-in" for the last 3 weeks. Kaitlynn is very responsive, always on time, and taking very good care of our dog. Pictures and notes follow immediately after a visit or the whole day stay. Our dog is happy meeting his new and old friends weekly.”

“Ashley’s great! She took amazing care of our dogs on short notice and kept us updated the whole time. We felt completely at ease. Will definitely be using her again! 💛”

About: Hi there!! Besides getting to know your honorary favorite child I strive to create strong relationships with the whole family especially because I think it’s creates just a bit more serenity for the parents. I’ve house/pet sat for about the last 4 years but more consistently(monthly basis) for the last two years. The families I have stepped in for, have time and time again asked for me to come back and take care of their fur babies, there’s nothing better than coming home to a very excited pup especially when they know they’re going to get all their loving in:) ! I have grown up with all kinds of dogs, including a small 20lb chaweenie and exceeding quite large pups with the 3 English mastiffs I have had. No matter the size or age I have a well rounded experience with all of them and am very confident in my ability to bond as well as make your fur baby feel safe and happy even when they’re missing mom or dad! Currently I work in the restaurant industry and that allows for me to have most of my day open and not having to be gone an entire day (usually no more than 6 hours). Ideally them being house trained and possibly having a doggy door allows for a bit more flexibility, however if not, that is not a problem as long as I am given enough time in advance or a heads up on what your pet specifically needs so that I can effectively plan and make sure your pet is happy and healthy. My intention is to be flexible and ensure your pet stays uninterrupted in their day to day schedule and habits. Depending on family to family as each dog has their own set of specific needs and preferences, I usually go based on what they’re used to, such as a feeding schedule, exercise schedule or even a nap schedule, having that information easily accessible is something I do request especially to ensure a smooth transition away from your fur baby. I find it to be helpful especially if they have any “out of the ordinary” habits or just need extra special attention such as medication or enrichment activities. I feel that having the information especially for medications easily accessible creates just a bit more confidence and less room for error. As well as, you know them best! Anything that they might not like or things they might love help to make the time away from you just that much better for them,, I look for open communication as well as airing out any possible concerns for that time being. I understand leaving your fur baby can be hard but I know I am able to give them the love and attention they want and need.
About: I adopted my dog major as a newborn puppy, and I have taught her to be potty trained, how to sit, lay down, and to give me her paw. I also make sure to feed her everyday and make sure she always has water in her water bowl. I have also rescued 2 cats that were originally in bad shape, but my family and I got them both the proper medicine and feed them the proper nutrients to get them to a healthy weight. I love all of my animals and I’m proud of how far they’ve come! I am a senior in high school so I have school from 9-2 everyday, and I am currently doing high school soccer so I have practice at 4:30-6pm everyday, unless I have a game that week in which I will keep updated on my profile. I am able to visit in the morning before 9, after 2, after 6, and whenever on the weekends. When dealing with dogs I like to be gentle but playful so they don’t feel uncomfortable around a new person. At my home I like to play with my dog and give her lots of belly rubs.

About: Lifelong owner of Aussies and Goldens with experience sitting Labs, Collies, and Shih Tzus. Currently dog-free and eager for a "dog fix" through reliable care! Working from home, I offer flexible morning, midday, or evening visits. Because I have a remote schedule, pet care fits seamlessly into my day. Since I don't currently have a dog of my own, these visits provide my much-needed 'dog fix' and serve as the perfect reason to step away from my desk and get active. Whether it's a brisk morning walk to start the day, a midday potty break, or evening companionship, I have the time and dedication to prioritize your pet's routine. My schedule allows me to be consistent and reliable, ensuring your pup gets the attention they deserve exactly when they need it.
“Megan accepted my last minute booking with amazing communication. She took my call and followed my instructions to perfection. Would rebook in an instant. Thank you again Megan.”

Lucille was great! She took great care of my Doberman. She took my pup for walks and play fetch with him on her drop in visits! Her communication was excellent and she provided pictures/videos as well! Will definitely be my go to when I need someone to help out with my pup!

We couldn't be happier with the care our dog received! Griselda provided dependable drop-in visits, and it was clear from the very beginning that she genuinely loves animals. She took the time to make sure our dog had fresh food and water, plenty of attention, exercise, and lots of affection during every visit. One of the things we appreciated most was the excellent communication. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious that our dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Finding someone you trust with a beloved pet is invaluable, and we felt completely confident knowing our dog was in such caring and capable hands. We came home to a relaxed, happy dog, and that says everything. We highly recommend Griselda to anyone looking for reliable, compassionate, and professional pet care. We will absolutely be booking with her again!

Olivia is amazing!! She dropped in several times over the past few days and took such good care of my senior pup Stryker. She even came by last minute for a visit when there was a conflict with the work schedule. Communicates very well and sends pics and videos. Will absolutely book her again!
We loved Kayla! We hired her to water our veggie plants twice a day while were were out of town. She showed up on time the morning before we left. She was polite, attentive, and had lovely manners. After we returned from our trip, it was clear that she had taken excellent care of our plants. Everything looked great! I would absolutely trust her with pets and would hire her again in an instant.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
