About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a kid. I finally adopted my own 13 years ago as puppies and rescued 2 in 2021. They are all senior dogs now with special needs- diet and medical. My one is diabetic and requires 2 injections a day. They all take medication and follow a schedule. I work from home which allows me to care for my four dogs. I have the ability to help others at this time and would love to make sure their pets are well cared for. I know how challenging it was to find care for our boys when I didn’t work from home. I care for someone’s pet as they ask me too and as I do my own. No feeding food they aren’t allowed (treats that aren’t authorized), hand feeding if necessary, plenty of potty breaks in the backyard to run (my dogs prance) and roll in the grass. I have beds and blankets for them to choose from and cuddle time on the sofa too.

About: My husband and I have retired and live in Saddlebrooke. We both watched dogs before when we lived in Columbus and now in Arizona and we LOVE it! Between the two of us we are home alot to spoil our (and your!) dogs, but do note that we do take bike rides etc in the 2-3 hour range several times a week. We watch ONLY ONE family’s dog(s) at one time so that we can give YOUR pet the special attention that he or she deserves. I have found each dog that we've watched to be a special gift in his or her own way and consider it a real blessing to be given the honor of watching your pet. I've been watching dogs for decades for family, neighbors and friends and loving it! I have always had dogs, helped my uncle raising schnauzer's, and done obedience work with several of my dogs - who were amazing! We have one dog, Emmie, a 15 yr old Havanese who while initially wary of new dogs and people becomes friends. She is pretty low key ( and toothless) and so dogs that have very high energy would not be a good fit. She accepts other dogs but doesn't usually care to play with them (but we do!!) We also require all dogs that we watch to be up to date on all immunizations, and are fully house broken and non aggressive. Dogs are welcome on our furniture and on our bed. We have a secure five foot fence in our back yard. My husband and I are retired and so are around home a lot, yet we are active and love to take walks and snuggle and play with the dogs! I have a five foot fenced in back yard. Dogs are welcome anywhere in our house including our bed. Our Havenese sleeps with us and yours is welcome too!

I am currently a full time professional student doing Rover on the side to help pay off my student loans! - I still have school over the summer! My classes are from Monday-Friday. The times we have are variable for each day and are range from 8am-5pm. - Drop-ins/dog walking: We usually have a 1-hour break at 11am where I can stop by if you live close to my school, or I can come when classes are over for the day. - House-sitting: I am fully available to house-sit on weekends, but I have classes on weekdays. I will reliably follow the directions you give me, making sure your loved one(s) feel safe & happy! Please provide specific instructions for pet and home care, including safety protocols in your home. Otherwise, I'm careful to not disturb anything inside your home and will ensure it is locked up properly and cleaned up upon my departure! - Boarding/Daycare: I can only accommodate small-medium dogs with more calm personalities for boarding at this time. I live with my parents who are also animal lovers. We live in a dog-proof house with a fenced yard available for potty breaks. We can only accommodate either boarding or daycare at one time. About: I have had dog and cats of my own from childhood to adult. I grew up with cats and continue to care and love our friends kitties. Unfortunately a family member is allergic so I don't get to have them in my home but love to play with them in yours. We have had Australian Shepperd mixes, cattle dogs, mutts, and pugs. When our old pugs died, we decided to just foster or pet sit. We fostered pugs and pug mixes for 3 years and continue to volunteer our time with the rescue organization. We pet sit for friends and house and pet sit through another service. I love to cuddle and play with all the furr-babies. A loved, exercised dog or cat, is a happy pet. I also have no problem with older animals who need medication or shots. I have done all of this and am comfortable with minor animal care. Can't wait to care for your babies. I am retired but do volunteer and attend other activities during the day and the evening. Some of this is flexible to meet your needs. I can stay in your home or drop by for feeding and walks, whatever fits your needs. You can book either a drop in or an overnight stay. I would keep your dogs and cats in your own home. Dogs and cats are typically more comfortable and behaved in their own surroundings. I would follow any safety rules you have established for your pets. I can keep small to medium potty, and preferably crate-trained, dogs in my home.

“We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her.
