“I boarded my 20 pound Miniature Schnauzer with Ron for a period of ten days while in Hawaii. My pup is an important part of my family and I want him to feel as if he is also having a vacation while I am away. After carefully researching every available boarding option I decided on Ron. I met Ron for a meet and greet before the actual boarding and his responsible and trustworthy nature was evident. Ron also has a beautifully landscaped and secure back yard. Lastly, Ron's Poodle Lily made an excellent companion to my proportionately sized Miniature Schnauzer. In my opinion, the combination of these qualities make's Ron the best choice for small dog boarding in Tucson. My schnauzer had a joyous time frolicking and cuddling with Ron's poodle while I was away. Ron did a great job of sending photos. The photos showed that my pup was eating, enjoying time on the couch and even cuddled in bed next to Ron's poodle. I received photos throughout my trip (not just the first few days) and these photos convinced me that my pup was having just as much fun as I was. Ron is a primary school teacher which is an occupation that I have much respect for and is illustrative of his good character. Ron also has a love of plants which is evident in his beautiful green yard with lots of shady places for dogs to rest and play. I was also very pleased that Ron has a dog door that my 20 pound schnauzer was able to fit through easily for constant back yard access. Overall, I do not think there is a better choice for small dog boarding in Tucson. My pup actually seemed sad to leave Ron and his poodle Lily. It was a great opportunity for my dog to socialize and play with another well trained dog. My dog came back happy, well exercised and without a trace of anxiety. In conclusion, Ron is a kind, intelligent, and caring animal lover. I would not hesitate to board my much loved miniature schnauzer with him next time I go on vacation. Ron's tranquil home and general attitude make the experience a vacation for your pet.”

About: I am an avid hiker and walker that loves to have a dog companion with. I have 40+ years of pet care experience including- vet assistant, boarding kennel and other pet hospital jobs. I have also bred and showed multiple dogs. I am in great physical shape and can handle all dog breeds and ages. I am typically available Wednesday through Saturday between 6AM and 6PM and can be flexible. Monday and Tuesday I am available after 2PM. I needed to find a trustworthy person & place for my sweet Sable during the day so I could work. After reading lots of Rover reviews, I took a leap of faith and booked with Carol. We hit the jackpot!!! Carol clearly is a dog lover and she takes caring for her canine guests very seriously! She has excellent communication skills and her home is set up specifically into zones to accommodate the varying needs of her puppy patrons (i.e. doggie door out to covered patio area, separated rooms with doggie gates & tiled floors for easy potty accident clean ups, safe/quite places for senior dogs, etc.). She only accepts fully vaccinated dogs which put my mind at ease that Sable wouldn't be exposed to any diseases while I'm getting her up to speed on her required shots (i.e. rabies, lepto, DHPP, etc.). Finally, Carol's was a great place for Sable to start getting better socialized with other dogs and learn some manners. ;-). I highly recommend Carol and won't hesitate to book with her again in the future!”

About: I'm a first-year veterinary student at the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine, here in Oro Valley, AZ. As a student, I work with all kinds of animals, from companion animals to reptiles and farm animals! I graduated with my bachelor's degree in the pre-veterinary track from Arizona State University in 2025 and hope to graduate with my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2028. - I've been an animal lover since I was a child when I first started volunteering at the animal shelter! I've worked in veterinary clinics as a veterinary assistant throughout undergrad so I have a lot of experience with animals. I love pet-sitting through Rover as a de-stressor from school, as animals always make me happy :) - Meet and Greets are a must before our first booking to ensure I’m a good fit for you and your pet(s). - Lastly, pet safety is my priority at all times. I ensure that homes are left in the same original condition as upon arrival and lock up according to the owner’s instructions. I am currently a full time professional student doing Rover on the side to help pay off my student loans! - I still have school over the summer! My classes are from Monday-Friday. The times we have are variable for each day and are range from 8am-5pm. - Drop-ins/dog walking: We usually have a 1-hour break at 11am where I can stop by if you live close to my school, or I can come when classes are over for the day. - House-sitting: I am fully available to house-sit on weekends, but I have classes on weekdays. Though I am still able to house-sit on weekdays, keep in mind that I may be not be able to stay at your house for a good chunk of the day, depending on the day. If you need weekday house-sitting, please reach out to me with the days you need and for how much of those days you need me to be at your house! I can check my schedule and get back to you. Drop-ins/Walking: I will always message you the time I complete my visit and send you photos of your furry friend(s)! I can provide you any details of the visit you need such as if they went potty, how much they ate, etc. - House-sitting: I know it's nerve-racking to leave your loved one(s) and go off on a trip. However, I can send you photos as often as you'd like so you feel confident that they are in good hands. I'll keep an eye out on messages during my stay so I can respond with updates. I will reliably follow the directions you give me, making sure your loved one(s) feel safe & happy! Please provide specific instructions for pet and home care, including safety protocols in your home. Otherwise, I'm careful to not disturb anything inside your home and will ensure it is locked up properly and cleaned up upon my departure! - Boarding/Daycare: I can only accommodate small-medium dogs with more calm personalities for boarding at this time. I live with my parents who are also animal lovers. We live in a dog-proof house with a fenced yard available for potty breaks. We can only accommodate either boarding or daycare at one time. Before booking, you and your pup can visit my house to see if it is a good fit!
About: I grew up with Dobermans and hunting dogs and owned a pet grooming, boarding and pet sitting agency along with raising my own animals including guinea pigs and cats. About: 🐾 Hi! I’m someone who has grown up around animals my entire life — dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, and more — and caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. From a young age, I helped care for family pets, and over the past several years, friends and neighbors have regularly trusted me to care for their pets while they travel or work. In December 2025, after multiple recommendations from friends and neighbors, I decided to join Rover to expand my pet care services within my community. My pets are very active, so walks, enrichment, playtime, and outdoor time are already a regular part of my day. I recently transitioned into doing pet care full-time and currently have expanded availability for boarding, drop-ins, walks, house sitting, and accepting new one-time and repeat clients. Because pet care is now my primary focus, I’m home the majority of the time and able to provide lots of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I maintain a clean, calm environment, supervise interactions closely, follow routines carefully, and do my best to make every pet feel safe, secure, and comfortable while in my care.

About: I’ve had dogs & cats since I was a kid! As soon as I was old enough, I would pet sit for neighbors and when I started driving, I would house sit for families in the summer. Responsibilities included feeding, walking, brushing, and playing with dogs & cats. I have a flexible schedule and want to spend time with you pets when I can! I work from home which allows me flexibility to drop in :) I am comfortable following the guidelines you set for caring for your pet! If you need me to make sure they don’t sneak out the door when I open it or to put them in their crate I’m up to the task. I always appreciate instructions on how to best care for your pet so I can make sure they have everything they need :)
About: Growing up in Arizona I was always around animals. Dogs,cats,horses, even ducks and other farm animals. I am absolutely in love with connecting with dogs. They bring me so much joy and I love seeing there tails wag :) I am extremely patient and love staying active and can help you with whatever you need. I decided to join Rover for fun because I live connecting with dogs so much. I do not have a dog of my own and would love to rescue as many as I can in the future. I am a student and veteran in the reserves. I am available anytime I am not in class during the week. My work schedule is flexible. I have dog sat for many of my friends and family members since I was younger. I have also recently been helping my neighbors with their dog since they have been traveling a lot. With an extended trip - during Christmas through New Years - we were very nervous about Pepper’s ability to feel safe. Vicky made Pepper feel at home! We had time to do pre-visits to slowly acclimate. Vicky was very understanding and has a ton of experience. Even with the fireworks during the holiday, Vicky was able to sooth Pepper’s nerves. “We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. Cynthia took great care of our dog, sent us regular updates including pictures and videos. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. When we came back we found that our dog had such a good time that I'm not sure she wanted to leave! Needless to say that Cynthia will be our first choice to watch our dog whenever the need arises!
