“I can’t put into words how much having Vanessa pop into our home & care for our fur baby meant to us. It was our 1st time leaving our 2-year-old Siamese Snowshoe alone while we went on vacation. Typically we take our cat with us on road trips & holidays but we are unable to do this with her anymore because our girl has recently been diagnosed with Feline Hyperesthesia Syndrome & I was beside myself with anxiety about leaving her alone without me because she is also extremely unsocialized because we are new to Oro Valley & rarely have anyone visit us here. About: I have watched pets for friends, family, and others off and on for about 4 years. I have helped raise 2 puppies with my family and have aided in end of life care for 2 family dogs that passed away from old age. I have one dog right now, so I am familiar with the ins and outs of having a pet and what that entails. I also did a brief stint at a doggy daycare, so I am comfortable with dog handling, feeding, routines, cleaning up and anything else needed. If I’m being honest, I really don’t do much and I am trying to do more! I am interested in possibly working with animals as a career and I feel like this could be a great stepping stone. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a kid. I finally adopted my own 13 years ago as puppies and rescued 2 in 2021. They are all senior dogs now with special needs- diet and medical. My one is diabetic and requires 2 injections a day. They all take medication and follow a schedule. I work from home which allows me to care for my four dogs. I have the ability to help others at this time and would love to make sure their pets are well cared for. I know how challenging it was to find care for our boys when I didn’t work from home. I care for someone’s pet as they ask me too and as I do my own. No feeding food they aren’t allowed (treats that aren’t authorized), hand feeding if necessary, plenty of potty breaks in the backyard to run (my dogs prance) and roll in the grass. I have beds and blankets for them to choose from and cuddle time on the sofa too.

“I'm so grateful to Brandi for taking in my two rambunctious boys. She had some behavior issues she had to address while I was away but handled it like a professional with her veterinary background and gave me a thorough report on when I picked them up. She was kind and caring at all times while still being professional about her expectations and rules. She even sent me photos of my boys while I was gone which was so nice. I feel lucky we found her and plan on bringing the boys back to her again for doggie day care and boarding at her horse property. My doggies are super dusty but happy and well cared for.
