About: Animals have always held a special place in my heart. I have been pet sitting since my early teens through Facebook inquiries and I previously had been pet sitting through Wag. (I still pet sit through Wag, but I wanted to give Rover a chance!) I have dogs and cats of my own, so I understand that every animal has different needs and different boundaries. I believe in being respectful, attentive and patient as I want all animals to be comfortable while I’m in their presence. I will never push an interaction or push a pet beyond what they are comfortable with. My goal was very simple! I just wanna make sure that they feel safe and happy even while their owner is away. I’m currently going to school while working full time at at hospital while ALSO saving for my wedding so naturally that makes my budget very tight. so, Rover is a way to earn extra income while doing something I geniunely love. Being a young adult working toward big dreams can be challenging, so I am grateful for the opportunity to turn my love for animals into something meaningful. I typically work night shifts Sunday-Tuesday so outside of that, I have lots of free time. during the nights that I work, I would of course communicate to the pet parent my limited hours in the evening. But outside those days, I am completely free and I am able to do as many check ins as the pet parent needs. I ensure I read any instructions the pet parent leaves for me. My main goal is to ensure the pet is as comfortable as possible and of course the person to know that best, is the pet parent! I would hate to stray from any schedule a pet has as it’s already stressful enough when a parent is gone. I am really big on communication so if the pet parent wants me to stay in the home the whole time during the visit, or to only have check ins, I will make sure that is communicated.

Currently attending U of A Mon-Thursday. I have limited availability during gaps between my classes. On Friday I have much more availability, as I am not attending classes that day. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, as well as issuing controlled medication at scheduled intervals. I personally don’t give my dogs table scraps, because I know how sensitive their digestive systems can be. I have prepared raw diet meals in the past for pets. An exercised dog is a happy dog!

About: 🐾 Hi! I’m someone who has grown up around animals my entire life — dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, and more — and caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. From a young age, I helped care for family pets, and over the past several years, friends and neighbors have regularly trusted me to care for their pets while they travel or work. About: Bonafide Animal Lover! I grew up on a farm caring for many different animals & have always had either cats and/or dogs in my adult life. Most recent, I cared for our two adult male shepherds in all aspects - training, feeding, walking, nurturing and our two adult cats - training, feeding, activity and nurturing. My pets are part of my family & I will provide the same level of care to your pets as well! (To avoid any confusion, my full name is “Sylvia Annette” - I usually go by my middle name “Annette” but will respond to either here. I am a semi-retired remote bookkeeper and empty nester therefore I am home most of the time and have plenty of time to do drop in visits, walking, house sitting or boarding. My caution level for keeping my pets safe and well cared for is very high. They are part of my family. I focus on their daily feeding schedule, ensure the catbox is kept clean daily, play with them (laser pointer and feather toy) for their exercise, and provide lots of love and cuddles too. When I have our shepherds, I walk them daily and play fetch and tug of war with a ball or rope.

About: I’ve had dogs & cats since I was a kid! As soon as I was old enough, I would pet sit for neighbors and when I started driving, I would house sit for families in the summer. Responsibilities included feeding, walking, brushing, and playing with dogs & cats. I have a flexible schedule and want to spend time with you pets when I can! I work from home which allows me flexibility to drop in :) I am comfortable following the guidelines you set for caring for your pet! About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I’ve also had cats my whole life and recently I got a snake and eight ducks I love taking care of animals and I wanted to be a veterinarian when I was little, I have done animal sitting/housesitting since I was 16. I have a very open schedule and have been wanting to walk more often so taking dogs on walks would help with that. I also love to spend time with animals and I would be able to stay in your house full time if I am house sitting if you would like me to otherwise I can just check on them throughout the day and then stay at night In my house our dogs get fed once a day and we have a doggy door so that they can go outside whenever they need to potty. The cat is free fed and always has water in her dish. I understand that people have different schedules for their animals and I can stick to them to make sure you’re pet stays healthy and safe
