Abriana is fantastic, very patient. Abriana took as much time as my guy Otis needed to get comfortable. It worked :). Otis, who is extremely skittish, warmed up and even sat on Abriana’s lap!!!! Thank you, Abriana!!!

Morgan has been such a wonderful addition to Crosby’s ‘inner circle’ ☺️ From the very first meeting he took right to her and I can’t tell you how much peace it brings me knowing she is checking on my fur kid during the day. Both days I have come home from work to a happy and calm boy. Morgan is professional, organized, prompt and she has great energy. Thank you for being the best walker and for the incredible care you provide Crosby! ❤️

Took great care with our dog, Bella. It took no time at all for Bella to warm to Logan & get excited to see Logan arrive each day for her walks. Would recommend and use Logan as a dog walker. Good communication about arrival times too, that helped me get Bella ready for her walk ahead of time. Thank you Logan from both Bella & myself.

Angus is fantastic all around! He communicates very well in advance of and throughout his Rover appointments to make sure they run smoothly and to ensure your pup is well cared for. My dog loved him as well, totally wanting to play with Angus the moment he met him and picking up on his fun spirit. I’d highly recommend Angus to anyone looking for extra help to care for their pup.

About: I grew up with a special Australian Cattle Dog/Boxer mix pup and was responsible for keeping her entertained, well fed, well hydrated, and properly cared for. I have learned a lot about dogs in the process- what many of their interests are, food preferences, and just how much they adore human companionship. I am currently working a full time job and I am looking to expand my horizons and gain valuable experience with one of my most therapeutic pastimes- quality time with animals. I work a late shift in my full time job, so I can be pretty flexible on my timing for the most part. I have a lovely calico cat companion named Diane (after the John Melloncamp song Jack and Diane), and being her sole caregiver, I am responsible for ensuring she is well fed, well hydrated, has a clean litter box, and she insists on being with me all the time that I am home. She is strictly indoors, largely because of the extreme temperatures and abundance of predators. I make sure she she is safe and happy. I strive to provide this same level of care to my client's pets because pets are meant to be loved as family, and nothing less.

About: I've been caring for animals from a young age and have always been passionate about providing them with the best care. I’m comfortable being in others’ homes and ensuring pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for. Over the years, I’ve gained experience training my own dogs, handling energetic and anxious pets, and administering medications for those with special needs. I volunteered for over six months at TRAK (Therapeutic Ranch for Animals and Kids), where I cared for animals of all sizes, from small pets to horses. My responsibilities included feeding, grooming, bathing, and cleaning, often alongside children, which taught me patience and adaptability. Alongside my mother, we created a project to help feed homeless dogs in a poor part of mexico, feeding over 100 dogs. This experience reflects my deep love for animals and dedication to making a difference. In addition to my pet care experience, I’ve held professional jobs where I learned how to work with clients, communicate effectively, and stay reliable and professional. Whether it’s a walk, check-in, or overnight care, I bring that same level of responsibility and dedication to every job. My schedule is very flexible! I’m available almost every day, anytime! Scheduling my services in advance is helpful but last minute scheduling will still be accepted. I prioritize safety and trust in every aspect of pet care, whether I’m walking your dog or caring for them in your home. During walks, I make sure your pet is secure on their leash, stay alert to their surroundings, and ensure they have a fun and safe experience. In your home, I carefully follow your instructions, keep the environment clean and secure, and treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to ensure your pet feels safe, cared for, and well loved, no matter the setting.

She was so good with our little chihuahua and was amazing about sending updates with photos and videos. We are so thankful we found Maggie and hope to work with her again in the future. If you are looking for someone to take good care of your fur baby, look no further! Maggie is hands down the best!❤️

Cooper is crazy about her and is always excited to see her. She does a great job of reporting all the nuances of his health and behavior, and her photos are adorable. All in all, fantastic!

About: Growing up on a farm taught me how to truly understand animals. I learned to read their body language, notice subtle changes in their health, and provide deeply patient care. This background sets me apart from other sitters. I have firsthand experience caring for animals of all life stages, from training high-energy puppies to managing the delicate needs of senior pets. My farm upbringing instilled in me a strong sense of responsibility and a genuine, natural bond with animals. Your pets will receive dedicated, intuitive care that treats them like family I'm currently working part-time so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for sitting in your home on weekends, and weekdays I provide pet care exclusively inside your home. Because I live in a shared community household with a roommate, I do not host pets in my own space. This ensures your pets stay in their familiar environment where they feel safest. follow your exact feeding, medication, and bathroom schedules to keep your pet's day predictable. I keep your home clean, secure, and exactly how you left it.Your pets get undivided attention, plenty of playtime, and cozy companionship without the stress of a busy environment.

I cannot recommend her enough! She is incredibly attentive, reliable, and genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. She always kept me updated, was consistently on time, and was so flexible with my schedule. When we had a rain delay, she even offered to come on another day to make sure my dogs still got the care and exercise they needed. Most impressively, she handled both of my crazy dogs with patience, confidence, and so much kindness. Knowing they were in such good hands gave me complete peace of mind. She’s absolutely wonderful, and I’m so grateful for all of her help. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy and dependable to care for your pets, she’s the best!

Anyone who books with Courtney is lucky and can feel completely confident their dog is in the most capable, loving hands. I’ll absolutely only be booking with her in the future! She came through on less than 24 hours’ notice, early Sunday morning, and handled it like a true pro. From the very start, she asked all the right questions and showed up fully prepared—even without a meet-and-greet. When Louie’s nerves got the best of him, Courtney was calm, patient, and completely focused on his needs. Within minutes, he relaxed, and she won him over—something that doesn’t happen easily and speaks volumes about her gift with animals. Every visit after that was the same: punctual, reliable, compassionate, and genuine. Courtney didn’t just meet expectations—she exceeded them. Louie and I will always be grateful we found her! ❤️☺️

  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
