I cannot recommend Denise enough. She cared for my two dogs with such attentiveness and genuine expertise that the experience went far beyond what I ever expected from a dog sitter. What stood out most was her ability to truly see my dogs — not just watch them. She helped me understand one of my dogs in a way I never had before, explaining the behaviors I had been witnessing, what was behind them, and what my dog actually needed. That kind of insight alone would have been valuable. But she went further. She recommended nervous system regulation strategies and a soft open muzzle to interrupt destructive behavior — giving me a way out of a cycle where one of my dogs was anxious in the crate but destructive without it. The result: no crate needed and a much happier dog. She also introduced me to gentle leaders which helped both my dogs stop pulling while walking, giving way to more enjoyable walks and calmer, regulated dogs. Having Denise care for my dogs led me to a much clearer understanding of how to support them going forward. She made me a more informed and attentive dog owner. If you want someone who will show up for you and your dogs with both heart and expertise, she is the real deal.

I had the opportunity to have Denise Morgan care for my English longhair daschund Heidi for six months. Heidi was 15 years old and was overweight and had a few lymphomas. I visited Heidi on occasion and she was happy and has learned to use the doggy door to go out at her leisure. Denise worked on Heidi and her lipomas disappeared or became smaller. She also did therapy on Heidi’s left back leg and ankle which enabled Heidi to enjoy her walks. Heidi was a favorite of Denise’s human clientele and loved the attention. When Heidi came back home to live with me she had lost weight and was as chipper as ever. I had some much confidence in Denise knowing her love for animals and her educational background. I don’t know anyone I would trust more with my animal baby!

Denise was fantastic! She cared for my two cats for four nights, handling the needs of both an indoor cat and an outdoor cat with ease. She made sure they were fed, comfortable, and well looked after, and it was clear from their behavior when I returned that they had received plenty of attention and care. One thing I especially appreciated was her communication. She sent regular updates and photos throughout my trip, which gave me a lot of peace of mind and helped me feel connected to my cats while I was away. She also treated my home with great respect and left everything in excellent condition. Knowing Denise was there allowed me to fully relax while traveling.
