“Azul loves Rachel she walks at her pace and Rachel is very responsible. Azul seems happy when she comes back home and when Rachel comes to pick her up for her walk Azul is very happy.”

“It's always a joy to have Lily walk the dogs. We were watching our daughters dog who was a little unfriendedly the first time meeting her (which was normal for this dog). Lily knows and understands dogs and was able to have the dog get comfortable with her. Both dogs came back tired and exhausted but very happy from their morrning walk. Highly recommend her!”

“Allison is a great dog walker my husky came home happy and panting. I could tell Allison is experienced with dogs and I felt she would keep my girl happy and safe on their walk.”

“Josephine was great with Attila. And…he took to Josephine right away. Josephine was calm with the intro and interacted with him throughout the walk. We look forward to many more walks together.”

“Steve took great care of my wild 80lb puppy. He was nice enough to come over for a meet n greet first which immediately put our mind at ease. He was awesome at following instructions and the picture updates were amazing. Thank Steve!!”

“Larry did a great job with Ellie. He was attentive to her needs and communicated along the way. I’m excited to have Larry as my new walker and seems to be a great fit. I would recommend Larry for anyone needing a dog walker for their fur child.”

“Selina was a pleasure to have walk Rocky. She was on time, communicated well and Rocky was tuckered out and happy after his walk. We look forward to booking her again soon.”

“Maggie was absolutely amazing! If I could give her 6 stars I would. From the moment we met her we could tell how caring she was and how much she loves animals. About: Your pup will be barking up the RIGHT tree (NOT 🌵) with tail wagging walks and cozy snuggles and plenty of playtime in our spacious backyard. I'm a longtime dog lover and devoted dog mom to a sweet 5-year old goldendoodle named Henry (shhh, he still thinks he's a puppy). I totally understand the quirks that come with our furry friends. I'm all about creating a safe, happy environment where your pup feels right at home. Whether it's yard play, a stroll through the neighborhood, or just couch snuggles, I meet dogs where they are with calm energy, patience and lots of love. I've cared for everything from high-energy pups to those with a bit of separation anxiety. From zoomies to zen time, your dog's in good hands here. Reliable. Loving. A little goofy, in all the best ways. Let's make tails wag and noses boop! I work from home, which means I've got a super flexible schedule and plenty of time for tail wags and potty breaks! From morning walks to midday playtime to evening cuddles, I can adjust to whatever fits best with your pet's routine and your schedule. Creating a safe, comfortable environment is my top priority. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pup behind. I feel the same way with Henry all the time, which is why I go the extra mile to make sure every dog feels secure and cared for. I stick to familiar routines, provide lots of personalized attention and keep every space is calm, clean and pet-friendly. Your dog will be treated like family.
About: I grew up having dogs and taking care of them. I also have 3 pups of my own that’s I’ve worked to train and care for for the last 4 years. I will care for your pet as my own and make sure they’re comfortable and safe while in my care. I currently work full time at Raising Canes and am looking for something to fill my time that I enjoy. I am very flexible and am able to work around your schedule to be able to meet your pets needs. I always make sure to supervise so I know they are safe and also make sure they don’t get into things they aren’t supposed to but overall ensuring they have a safe and clean place to relax and hangout.
“Brenda is the perfect dog walker. My dog looks forward to her time with Brenda. My cat is even warmed up to her! If you are looking for a reliable dog walker I highly recommend Brenda!”

About: Since the age of 5 I have cared for just about every type of pet; from your typical dog and cat to the more unique pet like rats, ferrets, and guinea pigs, and even back yard animals such as chickens or tortoises. If you have it then I can confidently and comfortably care for it, including any “high maintenance” pets or ones with any special needs. My only exception is reptiles or any other pet that requires live feeding. Sitting is my full time job, so I will be with your pets in your home for the majority of the time of the sit, but I'll need to leave at least twice per day to go home and check on and feed my own pets. Your pets will be my priority while they’re in my care, and will receive all of my attention and affection in your absence. I’m very much a homebody, so I won’t be leaving the house except my trips home to feed my pets. You can expect to receive many pictures from me of your babies being sweet and adorable, to help you when you’re missing them.
“As new parents, we needed some extra help to walk the dog around the neighborhood so he can get some energy out. Ariana was great at communication and very pleasant. Thanks for helping us out”

About: I have been watching other people’s dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. I have cared for animals big and small, reptiles included. At this time I am only working with cats, reptiles, and small dogs. I have worked with all sorts of temperaments and am diligent about making sure they get adequate potty breaks and food. Playtime is a priority, too. I want to ensure that you and your pet are satisfied! I have skills in medication administration - oral and injectable - for cats of all ages and temperaments. I have oral medication experience with dogs. I work from home so my schedule is very flexible. I am currently working from home so I am able to work your pet into my schedule quite easily! I can come multiple times a day. I believe your pets’ safety is of the utmost importance. To maintain their safety I will keep your dog securely on a leash when we go on a walk. I will ensure that your cat or dog does not get out of the house when they are not supposed to be outside. Finally, I will build a good rapport with your beloved pets so that they will trust me, and so you can trust me, too!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
