About: Leaving your babies is stressful. I understand what it is like to be away from your animals. I want them to safe and feel loved. I am retired and can give them as much love and attention as needed. Both you and your pets will feel some separation anxiety but I can keep that to a minimum for all. I have the ability to keep their schedule/routine to whatever is typical - When I had pets it was very hard to leave them, so I understand what you’re dealing with emotionally as is your pet!! I’m retired from my career with the YMCA- but a young 62. So you know I’m fun 😀 and community minded. I truly enjoy walking dogs, taking them to a park if that’s their interest (on a leash). When I’m watching pets they are my #1 focus and priority. Their needs come first. I do not take a job if I can’t commit to being available the majority of the day. A meet and greet is important so we both know it’s a good fit for your animals. I do not have other animals at my house and I have a fenced yard. This is the desert, so I always do a yard check to make sure it’s “all clear” when letting a dog out. Cats would remain inside for their safety. We have a detailed conversation regarding medications, dog or people aggression, schedules so both parties are prepared.

I’m a veterinary technician at a 24/7 emergency animal hospital, and I understand how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your pets when you’re away. My goal is to help your cats and dogs feel safe and comfortable in their own homes while maintaining their usual routines. My drop-in visits can include feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, litter-box cleaning, playtime, companionship, and updates with photos. I follow your instructions carefully and will contact you if I notice anything concerning during a visit. I know every pet has a different personality, so I want to learn about their routines, preferences, and individual needs before caring for them. I offer in-home pet visits in the Pantano and surrounding East Tucson area, subject to my availability. My schedule for this is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I have open availability for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I can easily crate your dog (if needed), I can also accommodate my schedule to work around you and your pets routine. About: I've cared for friends' dogs over the last few years with extended visits as long as 4 months. Let me care for your sweet doggo and get to know them. I'm a self employed artist so I make my own schedule and have a fair share of flexibility. Throughout the day I can drop ins depend on your needs. About: Since the age of 5 I have cared for just about every type of pet; from your typical dog and cat to the more unique pet like rats, ferrets, and guinea pigs, and even back yard animals such as chickens or tortoises. If you have it then I can confidently and comfortably care for it, including any “high maintenance” pets or ones with any special needs. My only exception is reptiles or any other pet that requires live feeding. Sitting is my full time job, so I will be with your pets in your home for the majority of the time of the sit, but I'll need to leave at least twice per day to go home and check on and feed my own pets. Your pets will be my priority while they’re in my care, and will receive all of my attention and affection in your absence. I’m very much a homebody, so I won’t be leaving the house except my trips home to feed my pets. You can expect to receive many pictures from me of your babies being sweet and adorable, to help you when you’re missing them.

Gavin understands that every dog is an individual, and he tailors the walk to what that dog actually needs, complications included. He took my dog Murphy, a high-energy 4-year-old, out for a walk in the rain, Murphy’s nemesis and absolutely despises. Gavin put up with a full 60 minutes of Murphy "fighting" him (translation: trying to walk straight back home or duck under any available cover), which makes him a stronger human than me. That's my own dog, and I would've given up! Murphy also dislikes about 90% of men, so by my dog's official ranking, Gavin is in the top 10% of men he loves! About: I’ve taken care of pets ever since I was old enough to provide the necessary care of my own pets at home without my parents assistance at around age 9. At home currently I take care of a pitbull, 2 chihuahuas, a cat, and a bunny! I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for animals and my favorite part about them is that each animal has their own unique personality. I’m an athlete who loves the outdoors and going on runs, so I tend to do great with energetic pets. I do dog sitting and cat sitting for neighbors and family near me and have stayed at some of their homes for days at a time. I’m currently waiting for my college courses to begin and have a pretty flexible schedule. I am always available in the mornings and can always make time in the afternoons from Monday to Sunday depending on a pet owners needs. I feed my pets as advised by their vet. I feed my dogs 3 times a day, my cat eats 2 times a day and my bunny eats 3 times a day. I try to take my dogs on a walk twice a day or they join my parents on their afternoon walks. I shower them every 2-3 weeks depending on how dirty they get and wipe my cat often as she is always outside. In clients homes I have walked their dogs, played with them, fed them specific amounts, gave medication, and cleaned up after them.

About: I don't have any pets of my own (yet!) but I love opportunities to take care of others' pets in the meantime. As someone who grew up with dogs, I have always been drawn to pups whether bringing them along on adventures or being homebodies together. Through pet sitting I've gotten to know some exceptional cats, for which I'm grateful! I feel confident administering medicine, I do well with long walks and even runs (I love a good running partner!), I'm strong enough to handle pullers, and I don't mind being patient with pets that may take longer to warm up to new people. I work from home a majority of the time so I have the flexibility to work from your home while spending time with your pet--plus I love having work-from-home company. I have a large fenced in back yard and access to wide, low traffic residential streets that are great for dog walking (and running!).
