“Christina saved my life! 3 days before Open Heart Surgery, I was without a sitter for my Poodle, Dusty. PANIC set in ,along with plenty of tears. I searched the internet and found Rover and Christina. I was nervous. Will he be ok. Have fun. Be loved. I didn't want him with a lot of other dogs....just in case. Christina called and within 5 minutes she had my nerves vanished and I was sold. We met and she is the sweetest, kind, and loving lady. Dusty loved her and her dog from the start. Just before her stay, she started experiencing incontinence, which, though treated, was not yet under control during her stay with Darlene. Poor Darlene had to use her mop quite a bit, and despite the burden, she treated Rosie so gently and sweetly. Even though having accidents normally stresses Rosie out, she was very content at Darlene's. She was given a lot of love, a healthy amount of treats, and plenty of outside and playtime with Darlene's little pom, Foxi. We were able to relax knowing that Rosie was in great hands. We're big fans of Darlene. Will book again, if she'll have us.”

About: I’ve been a dog whisperer since I was a child. I have had dogs (one or two at a time) my whole life. We lost our last dog last year and don’t want the long term commitment of a new dog at this stage in our lives, but would love to take care of other people’s dogs. It is just myself and my husband in our household. I work from home part-time and if there are days that I would be showing property (realtor) I would not schedule a Rover sitting job. Also, I babysit a small child every Wednesday and Thursday. I have a fully fenced yard and no other dogs. I have no problem having dogs stay inside my home. I am happy to go to the client’s home as well.

We’ve had tiny kittens all the way up to 15 year old seniors, requiring different levels of care and attention. About: I’ve owned cats since 2020. I first owned a grey tabby named Eva and then we got her a friend who was a tortoise/calico/tuxedo girl named Callie. Later down the road I owned an orange boy named Citrine and in 2023 I got Ashen, my beige kitty. I have experience grooming and feeding special diets and medication. About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have a dog in my care. I have had many years of experience watching and taking care of mine and others dogs. I have watched my family’s and close friends dogs many times throughout the years. I have dog sitted and had multiple doggy sleepovers up to a month before. I have watched dogs as small as Chihuahuas all the way up to German Shepherds. There is no task I can’t handle! (: I can’t wait to meet your baby and becoming their new friend! I am currently unemployed but looking to make pet care my full time job. I have more than enough time available for dog care. I spend most my time with my own dogs and or family members and friends. I have a great back yard where dogs can run around and feel safe. I am pretty minimal when it comes to furniture but do have plenty of room for dogs to lay around. Dogs are free to roam as they please and can freely go outside. I wash all couch covers twice a week, sweep & vacuum everyday, and mop as needed. I am very big on keeping poop picked up and making sure things are regularly cleaned up, like toys or trash that might be out. Bathroom doors stay closed and cleaning supplies are locked up.

About: I grew up caring for animals in my home as a kid. I had a rabbit for 8 years and have always had dogs in my home growing up (Lab/terrier, GoldenDoodle, Cockapoo). I am experienced with animals that require daily medication intake as my family dog had valley fever and back pain. I have house sat overnight (multiple nights) for multiple dogs and a cat who also require daily medication. I have experience sitting/caring for elderly dogs and cats. I have also made daily visits stopping by friend's houses to play with/walk their pets while they are at work. I owned a goofy, sassy Corgi puppy with lots of energy. About: I’ve dog sat for my family for extended periods of time (3 weeks to over a month at a time), watching multiple dogs of varying sizes. I also have experience watching friends dogs, including a senior dog who needs around the clock care. I’m currently unemployed, which means I have plenty of availability and can make watching your precious babies my main priority. Any day and time works for me, just as long as it doesn’t conflict with any appointments or other responsibilities that I may have. Afternoons and evenings are preferred, but I can make mornings work, too! I can take your dog/dogs out as much as needed when I’m dog sitting, as well as administering medications, crating them at certain times, and keeping them separated while eating if necessary.
