“It's always a joy to have Lily walk the dogs. We were watching our daughters dog who was a little unfriendedly the first time meeting her (which was normal for this dog). Lily knows and understands dogs and was able to have the dog get comfortable with her. Both dogs came back tired and exhausted but very happy from their morrning walk. Highly recommend her!”

About: Hi! I've had my cat Olive for 11 years and my dog Bel for 3 years. I have also taken care of close to 70 foster animals mostly kittens, with a few medical fosters, and behavioral issues along the way. I have taken courses on behavioral training for dogs as my own dog is reactive towards dogs, so I am very familiar with dog reactivity. I currently run a small 1 man business from my home and have control over my schedule to provide care to other animals regularly. I also foster other animals from time to time. My own dog is reactive and high energy and needs 3 walks a day usually with a lot of play. My cat is a large maincoon that requires a strict diet and care regimen to keep her pre-diabetes in check.
About: I love all and any kind of animals big or small from kittens and puppy’s to large cows and horses I even good with reptiles have had more animals to care of personally medical and non medical I do have 3 dogs, bunny’s as well as turtles so they get care in the morning as well as evening and all day as needed I have a fenced yard and can have animals inside or out and can be crated if needed if can would love to snuggle with or go for walks or exercise then if needed
About: I grew up caring for animals in my home as a kid. I had a rabbit for 8 years and have always had dogs in my home growing up (Lab/terrier, GoldenDoodle, Cockapoo). I am experienced with animals that require daily medication intake as my family dog had valley fever and back pain. I have house sat overnight (multiple nights) for multiple dogs and a cat who also require daily medication. I have experience sitting/caring for elderly dogs and cats. I have also made daily visits stopping by friend's houses to play with/walk their pets while they are at work. I owned a goofy, sassy Corgi puppy with lots of energy. I provided him with walks twice a day. I can provide high energy dogs with lots of play time and walks. I have plenty of time throughout the day to give attention to and play with your pups or cats. I am currently not working and waiting to start school in the fall. I am very attentive and mindful of behaviors. I will keep a close eye on your pets and ensure they are well cared for and their needs are met.

“Abby is very kind and energetic. She was very patient with Birdie Mae and let Birdie come up to her. No doe likes to pull when walking and Abby handled that well. Would recommend her to anyone”
About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats, of all ages, pretty much my entire life. I have experience with grooming such as nail trimming and bathing. About: I grew up on a farm, surrounded by animals of all kinds from energetic puppies to senior dogs, barn cats, and even livestock. That experience taught me how to read animal behavior, respond calmly in unexpected situations, and provide gentle, consistent care. I also picked up a lot of practical skills, including how to support animals through stress, illness, or injury. Whether your dog needs extra patience, a structured routine, or just some good old-fashioned love and playtime, I’ve got them covered. I truly understand animals and I treat every pet like part of the family. Caring for animals has always been part of my everyday life. Whether it’s early morning walks, playtime, or keeping a routine for feeding and medication, I naturally build my day around what pets need. I’m used to adjusting my schedule to fit each animal’s routine whether it’s a puppy who needs extra attention or a senior dog who needs a slower pace. Pet care isn’t just a task for me it’s something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to every day. I follow each pet’s routine closely whether I’m in my home or yours. That includes feeding, walks, playtime, and any special needs like meds or crate training. I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved in a clean and calm environment.
“Breannae was great! She walked my dog while I was out of town. I had someone watching her at home, but wanted her to get exercise and interaction while I was gone. She sent lots of pictures and kept me up to date on how Bonnie was doing. Awesome job!”

About: I grew up surrounded by pets, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I started dog sitting for friends while in college and have loved it ever since. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I work during the week, but I’m generally available in the evenings and have a flexible schedule on weekends. I’m happy to accommodate different needs whenever possible… it’s usually just a matter of coordinating schedules in advance 😊 I live in an apartment with access to a dog park right in the complex, so there is plenty of space for walks, playtime, and fresh air. I also love spending time outdoors and often visit parks, lakes, and hiking trails whenever I can. If a dog enjoys adventures, I would be happy to bring them along with me :)

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Willow Canyon. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Willow Canyon.

- 97% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
