“Can’t recommend Rachael enough! Zuko always comes back well-exercised and happy after each walk with Rachael. I also love that she provides updates and photos, which made me feel reassured while I’m away. I just really appreciate the care she provides to Zuko! I will definitely be booking Rachael again in the future.”

“Jaycee dog-sat for my 5 year old rescue German Shephard/Husky Dash for a few days while I was out of town. Dash was a reactive dog when I got him two years ago, so we held numerous dog-sitting session weeks beforehand to make sure both were comfortable with each other. Dash became good friends with Jaycee and she's one of the few people he responds well to. Jaycee will continue to walk Dash and I'll feel confident he's in good hands when I go away again. I highly recommend Jaycee to work with your reactive dog.”

About: I’ve had a very strong connection with dogs. I love being around dogs and will always have a connection to them. I love playing with them and lots of cuddles. I've always had dogs in my life from puppies to senior. I enjoy their company. I'm a housewife which gives me enough time to play with your pup and give the time they need. I'm available Sunday through Saturday. Also spend time with your cat or cats. For my client's I would take the pup outside to go potty and play with them then go inside to get their food and water ready for them. Also would take an early morning walk if needed. Plus play with them at the client's home. I'd clean litter boxes make sure your furry cat is fed & plenty of water.
“Ariel came by to walk my big boy, Wilbur (~100 lb Presa Canario). She was great! Came by to meet him before and took down lots of notes. He felt comfortable around her and I didn’t have a single concern after the trial visit! Her rates are unmatched and she provides quality care. 10/10 recommend!”

“Danika is a great communicator. Appreciated the text messages and pictures of the dogs. She was very considerate of the dogs in terms of the temperature outside for walks. Made adjustments to walking depending on the weather. Showed concern for our dogs' well-being and safety.”

“We are so pleased with Jennifer’s work ethic and communication. There were a few glitches on our side, she gladly worked with us. We will definitely use her again for our dog, and our family dogs.”

About: I have had dog and cats of my own from childhood to adult. I grew up with cats and continue to care and love our friends kitties. Unfortunately a family member is allergic so I don't get to have them in my home but love to play with them in yours. We have had Australian Shepperd mixes, cattle dogs, mutts, and pugs. When our old pugs died, we decided to just foster or pet sit. We fostered pugs and pug mixes for 3 years and continue to volunteer our time with the rescue organization. We pet sit for friends and house and pet sit through another service. I love to cuddle and play with all the furr-babies. A loved, exercised dog or cat, is a happy pet. I also have no problem with older animals who need medication or shots. I have done all of this and am comfortable with minor animal care. Can't wait to care for your babies. I am retired but do volunteer and attend other activities during the day and the evening. Some of this is flexible to meet your needs. I can stay in your home or drop by for feeding and walks, whatever fits your needs. You can book either a drop in or an overnight stay. I would keep your dogs and cats in your own home. Dogs and cats are typically more comfortable and behaved in their own surroundings. I would follow any safety rules you have established for your pets. I can keep small to medium potty, and preferably crate-trained, dogs in my home.
“Emily was able to help us very last minute and was very patient with our dog Rio, he was a bit shy at first but she was able to bring him around with kindness. Thank you again Emily!”

About: Our family's schedule allows us to be home most of the time, aside from occasional errands, so your pet will receive plenty of attention, companionship, and care. While we don't currently have pets of our own by choice, we truly enjoy caring for animals and would love the opportunity to become an extended part of your family. We have experience caring for pets of all ages, including senior animals who may need extra patience, comfort, and attention. My daughters are gentle, compassionate, and love spending time with animals. As a family, we've also participated in foster sleepover programs to help ease overcrowding at local animal shelters and provide pets with a comfortable, loving environment outside the shelter setting. We understand that pets are family, and we will care for yours as if they were our own. Two parents work from home and two teenage girls go to school less than 10 minutes away. We provide more than enough attention as needed for your pet. We also provide daily updates (pics/vids) so you know how things are going every step of the way. Plenty of open room downstairs. A Back yard with fenced-off pool. We provide the best attention/environment for your pet because we only care for one client's pet or pets at a time. From active to mellow, puppy to Sr dogs, and everything in-between.
About: I'm a first-year veterinary student at the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine, here in Oro Valley, AZ. As a student, I work with all kinds of animals, from companion animals to reptiles and farm animals! I graduated with my bachelor's degree in the pre-veterinary track from Arizona State University in 2025 and hope to graduate with my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2028. - I've been an animal lover since I was a child when I first started volunteering at the animal shelter! I've worked in veterinary clinics as a veterinary assistant throughout undergrad so I have a lot of experience with animals. I love pet-sitting through Rover as a de-stressor from school, as animals always make me happy :) - Meet and Greets are a must before our first booking to ensure I’m a good fit for you and your pet(s). - Lastly, pet safety is my priority at all times. I ensure that homes are left in the same original condition as upon arrival and lock up according to the owner’s instructions. I am currently a full time professional student doing Rover on the side to help pay off my student loans! - I still have school over the summer! My classes are from Monday-Friday. The times we have are variable for each day and are range from 8am-5pm. - Drop-ins/dog walking: We usually have a 1-hour break at 11am where I can stop by if you live close to my school, or I can come when classes are over for the day. - House-sitting: I am fully available to house-sit on weekends, but I have classes on weekdays. Though I am still able to house-sit on weekdays, keep in mind that I may be not be able to stay at your house for a good chunk of the day, depending on the day. If you need weekday house-sitting, please reach out to me with the days you need and for how much of those days you need me to be at your house! I can check my schedule and get back to you. Sometimes, we have whole mornings off or get done super early, so it just depends. Drop-ins/Walking: I will always message you the time I complete my visit and send you photos of your furry friend(s)! I can provide you any details of the visit you need such as if they went potty, how much they ate, etc. - House-sitting: I know it's nerve-racking to leave your loved one(s) and go off on a trip. However, I can send you photos as often as you'd like so you feel confident that they are in good hands. I'll keep an eye out on messages during my stay so I can respond with updates. I will reliably follow the directions you give me, making sure your loved one(s) feel safe & happy! Please provide specific instructions for pet and home care, including safety protocols in your home. Otherwise, I'm careful to not disturb anything inside your home and will ensure it is locked up properly and cleaned up upon my departure! - Boarding/Daycare: I can only accommodate small-medium dogs with more calm personalities for boarding at this time. I live with my parents who are also animal lovers. We live in a dog-proof house with a fenced yard available for potty breaks. We can only accommodate either boarding or daycare at one time. Before booking, you and your pup can visit my house to see if it is a good fit!
“Alison was awesome with our Lucy. She is very reliable and adaptable and was always there when she said she would be. I highly recommend her and will definitely use her again.”

“Pamela is a good communicator, prompt, and very kind to my Pippi. In less than a month, Pippi has fallen in love and eagerly walks out the door with Pamela. I feel completely comfortable knowing she is safe and in good hands. I have not used Pamela's services for overnight stays but I wouldn't hesitate to do so. Pamela's Pippi rating is A++!”

About: With over 10 years of experience caring for animals, including reptiles, cats, and dogs, I bring a deep understanding and genuine love for all kinds of pets. For the past 5 years, I’ve been a dedicated foster for many animals, including various dog breeds. I have cared for small as well as big dogs, and have fostered multiple mixed pitty breeds working on training. I also regularly walk dogs at PACC and have bent doing that at various shelters since I was in middle school. I have a flexible schedule, which means I can be fully present and responsive to your pet’s needs, whether that’s frequent potty breaks, outdoor adventures, or quiet companionship at home. I’m equally comfortable going for runs with high-energy pups or creating a calm, cozy environment for shy or senior animals. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority, and I’m committed to making them feel safe, loved, and at home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a very flexible schedule. I’m able to plan my day around the needs of the pets I’m caring for, whether that means early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime. My availability allows me to give animals the attention, companionship, and consistency they need throughout the day. At home I care for my cat like she’s my baby. I start each day by feeding her first thing in the morning and always ensure she has a full, fresh water bowl. Since I currently work from home, I’m able to be very attentive throughout the day. I make sure she gets outdoor time, engage playing with her, and give lots of cuddles. I bring that same level of care, attentiveness, and love to every animal I care for, whether it’s a cat, dog, or another species. Your pet will be treated like one of my own.
“Wonderful person and so happy to find someone trustworthy to walk my dog on the weekends! She responded quickly with little notice due to my poor planning during my move to Lakewood ranch and that was above and beyond in my eyes. Thanks so much Chloe!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
