“We are so happy we found Eden to help out with our 2 dogs this past week! We have 1 dog that is super skittish and Eden was so patient with him until he eventually warmed up to her. She has a very natural instinct and ability to befriend nervous dogs 🥰 Eden is incredibly reliable, very communicative, and great at sending daily updates and pictures! We are excited to have her come pet sit for us again 🤗”

“Logan did a wonderful job watching our senior dog over the weekend. They were super quick to respond to all my messages and gave very detailed reports for every drop in visit along with lots of photos. I would definitely recommend!”

About: Hello, my name is Colin and I am a USN veteran and current 4th year medical student. I have a pet bunny named Clark. In my free time I love to run, hangout with friends and do CrossFit. I would love to walk your dog or take care of your pets in my free time :) When I am not at the hospital or studying I am usually free. My schedule is very flexible and changes depending on my current rotation. I am very attentive and will follow the instructions given to me along with general safety measures to ensure your pet is well taken care of.

“Did a great job dropping in on my kitties! They have a specific feeding routine that requires measuring out raw food with a scale and dosing medication into one of their meals. She handled both tasks with ease and seemed incredibly comfortable with the routine. She even went the extra mile by turning my plant lights on and off! She is very friendly, offers highly competitive pricing, and left me feeling completely confident that my cats were in good hands. I look forward to booking with her again!”

About: I’ve always been a huge dog person! I’ve trained both of my dogs as well as my family dogs from my childhood! We went through all the ups and downs of owning different breeds. From Puppy stage sickness to senior dog issues I’ve experienced most of it all. We have a close knit Church family and I advertise dog sitting and I have been doing dog sitting/walking for several families with young dogs and senior dogs. Each dog and family is different and I’m very capable to adapt my care to each individual dogs needs and behavior. I can walk, feed, play, and even bathe each of our doggie guests during their stay with us or in their own home. I provide as much care and attention they would need due to my 24/7 Home schedule. And since I work remote, I can easily adjust my Small Business hours to fit with your personal schedule preferences! I run a small Art business from my home! And I can easily work remote if I need to. I that means I have most of the week to provide care and attention to your pet! We only reserve Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings for our church services. While I’m in a clients home, I’m sure to clean up after your pet as well as myself. I’m respectful of personal space and respect the mantra “my house my rules” so any set guidelines you may have for your pet and your home will be followed to the letter!
“Lauren was so sweet with my Lucy. She showed up as scheduled, sent great pictures, communicated well and took great care of my kitty 🐈⬛ Thanks Lauren!”

“Very communicative and left detailed reports of how my cat was doing. She included photos in her reports, too, which was so fun to see while away. Absolutely recommend her for taking care of your fur baby!”

“Rachel was so communicative. She left good notes on what she did at each visit including 3 to 4 photos. She took very good care of our Lucy and seemed to really enjoy her visits! Thank you Rachel!”

“Our cat thinks Melissa is amazing, and so do we! Our sweet scaredy cat hides from everyone - family, friends, cat sitters. But Melissa coaxed him out of hiding and out of his shell. He had a great time playing with her while we were away, and we felt good knowing that he was well cared for.”

“El was so sweet and a wonderful sitter for my kitty over the weekend. Excellent communication and lots of photos in the daily updates. I came back to a very tidy apartment and happy cat. I would definitely book her again!”

“Very very very good service overall. Extremely trustworthy and showed up exactly when she said she would. Returned to very happy pets. Only request would be a little more attention spent to keeping the floors cleaned as discussed. Would absolutely book again in a heartbeat!”

About: I worked at a boarding business for about a year and a half for dogs and cats. I worked with all different sizes and breeds, and ages of dogs and cats. My job tittle including playing and cuddling with the animals, feeding the animals, cleaning where they stayed, and giving medicine to the animals that required it. I have a little more than basic knowledge of dogs and cats health and always try to stay up to date with that. I dog sit and cat sit for friends and families regularly aswell. I have always grown up around animals and if you were to ask anyone who knows me they will say I have always wanted to work with animals since I knew what a job was. I am currently a college student and am majoring in wildlife conservation, while that's not specifically a major for cats and animals I still have and will learn a lot about those species as well!! I currently don't have a job so my schedule is really open. I work out everyday usually in the mornings to early afternoons. But I have a very flexible schedule! I have a fenced backyard just under 2acres of land. So it is very spacious for bigger dogs to run around in! I am able to walk dogs for however long.
“Fantastic! We are repeat customers and Zack my cat loves Xochitl. I could tell by how happy and contented Zack looked in the visit photos that he remembered Xochitl and that he felt very safe and taken care of. Highly highly recommended.”

“Our first time to have Alex keep an eye on our pup. She was all we could have asked for, caring, responsible and kind. We will be using again and good to know we have someone we can trust and count on.”

“Danika is very great with dogs and you can tell she absolutely loves dogs. Both of my pups were very excited to meet her initially during the meet and greet, and I’m sure they were very excited to see her and go for a walk with her”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Catalina Foothills
Lauren is literally the best. Second time booking with her and will continue to book with her in the future. My anxious cat has warmed up to her so much. I really appreciate her & look forward to reading the detailed rover card each visit. Makes me feel better when I’m missing my cats on vacation :) <3

Isabella took care of my two cats, Felix and Fritz, with twice-daily drop-ins while I was gone for 5 days. I was a little worried about them because they're still skittish from our recent move, but Isabella made huge efforts to befriend both of them. In addition to handling their meals and litter care, she got to know them, gave them treats, and played with them, handling each according to their own personalities. By the time I got home they were comfortable with her and very relaxed. She did a wonderful job, and I won't hesitate to have her take care of them again!

Sophia is amazing, her love for cats is very evident and I feel as if she genuinely cared for my cat's well-being. Sophia is very responsive to messages and willingly provides additional updates, I felt completely comfortable leaving my cat and my home in her care. Every visit Sophia took plenty of photos and included notes on behavior, water intake, eating habits, and litter box usage. My cat missed her so much after the visits ended, he even made biscuits on the sofa where they used to hang out together. I will definitely hire her again and highly recommend her to any pet owner.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
