“Very attentive and kept checking in to make sure Wera was okay. He followed all instructions and best of all kept my kitty happy and active while I was away, I recommend him!!”

“Logan was great! Our vacation was stress-free knowing our cat was being taken care of so well. We received updates and photos and were impressed by and grateful for the level of care that was provided. We couldn’t recommend Logan more!”

“Rachel was so great! My cats currently don’t get along and one is on medication for anxiety - she was wonderful with them and made sure they both got play time and treats! I got daily updates on how they were doing along with pictures. I will definitely be rebooking with her!”

“Lauren is amazing! She gave us great check ins for our two kitties, cleaned up after them, was always friendly, and gave them tons of fun and love during our 30-day trip. Would absolutely recommend and will go to her for our future sitting needs.”

“Our cat thinks Melissa is amazing, and so do we! Our sweet scaredy cat hides from everyone - family, friends, cat sitters. But Melissa coaxed him out of hiding and out of his shell. He had a great time playing with her while we were away, and we felt good knowing that he was well cared for.”

“Isabella did a great job checking in on our cat. She was timely and always provided photos. She has great common sense and was quick to address an unforeseen situation after getting locked out of the house.”

“I’m so glad I found Chloe. She gives such great care to my cat. Usually, my kitty hides under the bed from pet sitters. She just loves Chloe. It’s so comforting.”

“Thank you so much! Marlee made this experience so easy and followed my instructions very well. My cat was in great spirits when I returned home and the pictures with updates she sent me brought me great peace of mind. I’ll definitely be rebooking :)”

“One of my rats unfortunately passed while I was away but Alex was quick to inform me and handled everything as I asked. Despite the tragedy, my remaining two rats and cat were doing well when I returned, and I received thorough reports and pictures throughout my trip that made me feel assured that all of my pets are being well cared for. Will definitely have Alex take care of my pets again!”

About: Hello, my name is Colin and I am a USN veteran and current 4th year medical student. I have a pet bunny named Clark. In my free time I love to run, hangout with friends and do CrossFit. I would love to walk your dog or take care of your pets in my free time :) When I am not at the hospital or studying I am usually free. My schedule is very flexible and changes depending on my current rotation. I am very attentive and will follow the instructions given to me along with general safety measures to ensure your pet is well taken care of.
About: I have been caring for other people's dogs for about 18 years. This includes but not limited to walks, jogs, hiking, playing fetch, in home boarding, feeding, administering medications, bathing, brushing and general care for their loved one. I have the energy to handle the high energy dogs as well as the patience for special needs dogs and every dog in between. I am available to watch your dog in your home and I believe this is the best for the dog. They are less stressed when they are able to be in there safe space. I am also available for walks and jogs with your dog most days. It’s important to make sure your pet’s life is full of love, fun, and well-being. I would love to help you take care of your loved one(s). Hopefully I can be a good fit for you and your dog(s). I'm available most weekends Friday evenings to Sunday evenings. I can possibly help during the week before/ after work. Just let me know what you need and I'll see if I'm able to help. I like to have open communication with pet parents and learn how they handle their animals. I like to walk dogs not let them walk me. When walking I try to have them away from traffic and try to be aware of surroundings.
“Jill did such a good job!! She went above and beyond each visit with my two cats. She was very thorough and took great care of them. My cats are both very shy but both opened up to her which was very surprising. She made my trip so much smoother because I knew my cats were in good hands. I will definitely reach out to Jill the next time I go out of town!!”

“Sidney did a great job taking care of our three cats. Two are very shy but they warmed up to her and the other one needs a lot of affection which he got. We’re so happy our cats were well taken care of.”

“Pablo did a great job taking care of Felix. He arrived promptly, followed Felix’s care instructions, and left the apartment tidy. Will definitely book again when Pablo is available.”

We are so grateful to have Chloe check on our cat while we’re away! She always takes great care of her and we appreciate the daily updates and photos. Chloe is very reliable and we also appreciate her flexibility with adding extra dates when needed. 10/10 pet sitter!! :)

Isabella took care of my two cats, Felix and Fritz, with twice-daily drop-ins while I was gone for 5 days. I was a little worried about them because they're still skittish from our recent move, but Isabella made huge efforts to befriend both of them. In addition to handling their meals and litter care, she got to know them, gave them treats, and played with them, handling each according to their own personalities. By the time I got home they were comfortable with her and very relaxed. She did a wonderful job, and I won't hesitate to have her take care of them again!

Sophia is amazing, her love for cats is very evident and I feel as if she genuinely cared for my cat's well-being. Sophia is very responsive to messages and willingly provides additional updates, I felt completely comfortable leaving my cat and my home in her care. Every visit Sophia took plenty of photos and included notes on behavior, water intake, eating habits, and litter box usage. My cat missed her so much after the visits ended, he even made biscuits on the sofa where they used to hang out together. I will definitely hire her again and highly recommend her to any pet owner.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
