About: I have had pets all my life, and have been fostering with PACC (Pima Animal Care Center, a local animal shelter), for almost 12 years now. I have extensive experience with cats of all ages, dogs from puppies to seniors including extra experience with large and giant breed dogs, and many reptiles including bearded dragons, geckos, snakes, and more. I love animals and love keeping up to date with new science and research on their their health, behavior, and best practices for their care and training. I also have taken the Red Cross pet first aid course in addition to my years of experience working with medical cases with my fosters and my own medically complicated pets. I work full-time, but because I am at a bakery I am out by late morning to mid-afternoon at the latest so I generally have all afternoon and evening to spend with your pets. I have a fenced yard for my own Great Dane mix rescue. He is excellent with cats, and with careful introductions is friendly with other dogs. I have cats of my own that have free roam of the house, but I do have a room kept separate that I use for quarantine and kitten and cat fostering so they have their own space away from the other animals.
“Wow, wow, wow!! This was my first time using Rover. I had no idea what to expect and only tried it because I was in a desperate, last-minute situation trying to find care for my dogs while I needed to go away on a very unexpected trip. I truly didn’t have hope that I would find someone on such short notice, but saw her profile and reached out. I was thrilled with her speedy response and her willingness to help. From the minute she walked in the door to meet my dogs, I knew she was absolutely the right fit. My girls fell in love with her instantly, and I felt such a huge relief knowing they were getting exceptional care from her while I was away. It took so much stress off me, and I loved the daily updates and pictures. I cannot say enough good things about her, and I’m now completely spoiled, because I can’t imagine finding a more caring, responsible, loving dog sitter. She is THE BEST!!!! Treated my dogs like they were her own.”

“Kellie was wonderful! It was my first time using Rover and I had a great experience with her watching my two cats 💙💙 she was very attentive and gave me updates on the boys every time she dropped in!”

“Vanessa has watched our cats multiple times and is always wonderful to work with. She has excellent communication, sends wonderful photos and goes above and beyond. We will continue to book with Vanessa for all of our travels.”
“Jaycee is the BEST. We felt so comfortable being out of town knowing that our 3 dogs were in her care. She was very communicative and easy to work with! We would book her again in a heartbeat🩷”

“It was easy to communicate with Andrew. When our dog wouldn’t go outside because it was raining, he reached out to get clarity on what to do. They ended up cuddling and playing a bit instead, and my dog seemed as happy as ever when we got home :)”

“Sheila was very professional and friendly and really seems to care about the animals she cares for. She came be the house twice before I left on vacation to get to know my cat and learn about his routines. He seemed to like her and I felt confident hiring her. She brought special toys for him to play with when she came each day and would send me photos of them playing together. I hope to hire Sheila again when I need to be away.”

“We used alternating "day-care" and "drop-in" for the last 3 weeks. Kaitlynn is very responsive, always on time, and taking very good care of our dog. Pictures and notes follow immediately after a visit or the whole day stay. Our dog is happy meeting his new and old friends weekly.”

“Pamela was great. She came everyday and made sure they had food and water. Cleaned the cat box daily and spent very important time with them so they weren’t as lonely.”

“Jennifer is a great sitter! She is super communicative and definitely makes sure she has all the details of care ready to go. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone to take great care of their pets. My cat, Fred, is enamored with her!”

“Madison was so sweet with my baby! My pet is super shy, but Madison was very patient with her and they ended up playing together a bit on the last day! Also super communicative and reassuring. Also left everything cleaner than it was before. Would definitely book with Madison again! (:”

About: I've grown up with dogs, and have experience caring for senior dogs with medical issues. I am also experienced with feral, stray, and fearful/shy cats. We currently have one black cat (Nox) in the home who is our pride and joy. I also live across the street from an emergency animal care hospital should any emergencies arise. I am a recently minted PhD in Clinical Psychology who is taking a gap year before going to residency. I have flexible hours and am available for a variety of pet care services while I study for board certification exams. Boarding: My fiance and I rent a 2 bedroom apartment, which means there is plenty of space to either roam and play, or sequester with cozy blankets and treats until they feel comfortable. Our 6 year old cat is shy but friendly with other cats and humans. I live together with my fiance who is also an animal lover In home: Food, water, and waste services as typical. Also available for playing, petting, walking, treats, or medication if requested.
“Thea is wonderful at communication, checks in on time, and sends photos. We were gone a week this time and returned to a clean house. The litter area was spotless, the food area clean, and water dishes filled. We will always book with her!”

About: Pets are like family members, and I will make sure to treat yours as such! I've owned a dog for several years and I was her primary care-taker until I moved to college. I took her on daily walks, fed her, washed her, and played with her all day. She was my best friend! I grew up walking dogs for many neighbors, and I'm very comfortable walking multiple dogs at once. I’m also very comfortable driving with dogs to take them to a dog park or on a hike. Since being in college, I have completed many dog-sitting and dog walking gigs, both on and off of Rover. I love interacting with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I’m excited to get to know your furry friend! I have a pretty flexible summer schedule at the moment. I'm available on most days from early until late, and I'm also available for overnight stays. I'm not able to offer overnight boarding in my own home, but I'm more than happy to come to yours to take care of your pets. I truly do love pets and I'm excited to give them the care and attention they need. I'm ready and willing to follow any rules or specific routines that your pets are used to, and I want to make sure they have the best care possible. I will make sure to send you many updates and photos!
About: I’ve had a lot of cats and dogs since a young age, including seniors needing medications, as well as kittens and puppies. I frequently pet sit for friends and family when they go out of town and I love spending time with their pets and making sure that all of their unique needs are taken care of, especially for senior pets. I have a lot of free time during the week with a very flexible schedule and lots of time to come and spend with your pets. I try my best to stick to the routine your pet is used to by sticking to feeding schedules and medication times, as well as knowing when they usually go for walks. I play with the animals I watch to help them expend some extra energy and give them as many pets as they want.
Casas Adobes cat parents share their Rover experiences
Andrew did another fantastic job caring for my cat while I was away for almost three weeks. He sent daily updates and pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind. When I got home, my cat was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. My cat has really grown attached to Andrew, which says a lot! It's such a relief knowing he’s in good hands, and I just hope Andrew is available every time I travel. Highly recommend!

Melayna took such amazing care of my cats while I was away. As somebody in the veterinary field it can be hard to trust someone to care for my animals, but it was very obvious from the beginning how much she truly loves and cares about the animals she watches. I had full trust that they were in good hands the entire time I was gone and that means everything to me! I would absolutely have her watch them again and will definitely be recommending her to anyone that needs a pet sitter in the future! :)

Vivian took great care of our two boys. Our one baby is recovering from FIP and still needs eye drops administered daily, so it was nice to be able to rely on someone with experience. She provided nice updates with pictures and the boys seemed well taken care of when we returned. We’ll definitely be using her services again in the future.
