“Kiersten is the best sitter I’ve ever had! She truly gave me peace of mind when I was out of town. She sent me so many videos/pictures of them and gave the fur babies so much love. They really love her! I will definitely book again if I need a sitter”

“We are so happy we found Eden to help out with our 2 dogs this past week! We have 1 dog that is super skittish and Eden was so patient with him until he eventually warmed up to her. She has a very natural instinct and ability to befriend nervous dogs 🥰 Eden is incredibly reliable, very communicative, and great at sending daily updates and pictures! We are excited to have her come pet sit for us again 🤗”

“It’s a pleasure to have Vanessa help us out with our 2 pets when we go out of town. She communicates well with us and we trust her. Very glad to have found River and Vanessa!”

About: I have had pets all my life, and have been fostering with PACC (Pima Animal Care Center, a local animal shelter), for almost 12 years now. I have extensive experience with cats of all ages, dogs from puppies to seniors including extra experience with large and giant breed dogs, and many reptiles including bearded dragons, geckos, snakes, and more. I love animals and love keeping up to date with new science and research on their their health, behavior, and best practices for their care and training. I also have taken the Red Cross pet first aid course in addition to my years of experience working with medical cases with my fosters and my own medically complicated pets. I work full-time, but because I am at a bakery I am out by late morning to mid-afternoon at the latest so I generally have all afternoon and evening to spend with your pets. I have a fenced yard for my own Great Dane mix rescue. He is excellent with cats, and with careful introductions is friendly with other dogs. I have cats of my own that have free roam of the house, but I do have a room kept separate that I use for quarantine and kitten and cat fostering so they have their own space away from the other animals.
About: I’ve always been a huge dog person! I’ve trained both of my dogs as well as my family dogs from my childhood! We went through all the ups and downs of owning different breeds. From Puppy stage sickness to senior dog issues I’ve experienced most of it all. We have a close knit Church family and I advertise dog sitting and I have been doing dog sitting/walking for several families with young dogs and senior dogs. Each dog and family is different and I’m very capable to adapt my care to each individual dogs needs and behavior. I can walk, feed, play, and even bathe each of our doggie guests during their stay with us or in their own home. I provide as much care and attention they would need due to my 24/7 Home schedule. And since I work remote, I can easily adjust my Small Business hours to fit with your personal schedule preferences! I run a small Art business from my home! And I can easily work remote if I need to. I that means I have most of the week to provide care and attention to your pet! We only reserve Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings for our church services. While I’m in a clients home, I’m sure to clean up after your pet as well as myself. I’m respectful of personal space and respect the mantra “my house my rules” so any set guidelines you may have for your pet and your home will be followed to the letter!
“Jaycee dropped-in to feed and play with my 5 year old German Shepard/Husky Dash while I was on vacation. Because Dash, a rescue dog, has been very reactive to strangers, Jaycee slowly became friends with Dash over a month of twice weekly visits until he would let her come into the house alone. A major accomplishment! Dash has been particular with who he would accept and they became good friends. Jaycee will continue to drop in occasionally to work with Dash and his issues. A good experience for both of us!”

“Danika is very great with dogs and you can tell she absolutely loves dogs. Both of my pups were very excited to meet her initially during the meet and greet, and I’m sure they were very excited to see her and go for a walk with her”

“This was a last-minute booking and I’m so thankful that Danielle was available to watch my pups! She did a fantastic job. Most importantly, she followed up the day I was to get home to make sure my pups were getting their evening feeding. Thank you Danielle!”

“Andrew was wonderful. This was the first time I have gone away since my cat started medication and wasn’t sure what would happen. Andrew was highly creative as well as communicative. I really appreciated that. I highly recommend Andrew for your feline fur babies!”

“Asher is great, my cat warmed up really fast! Very communicative and responsive. Drop-ins were always timely and I appreciated how much detail was given in the reports plus multiple photos. Would book again!!!”

“Kellie was wonderful overall. She was quick to respond and wonderful with our pups! Two, one-year-old dogs, are a lot to keep up with, and she did great. Especially with communication when she visited them I really appreciate her professionalism and her enthusiasm for animals and will definitely look to ask for her help again!”

“We had Allyson do a drop in when we took a day trip to Phoenix. She had stayed with our pets for a long weekend, so we were perfectly comfortable that all would go well. And it did. She’s a great communicator and really cares about our animals. Highly recommend her!”

About: Hello! I am a pet lover who grew up with Boston terriers for 20+ years. I also grew up working with dogs (Border Collies) on ranches, working side by side on various tasks. Because of my experience and comfort with dogs, I have been dog-sitting for friends and family my whole life. I have some experience caring for cats, including my sisters' and friends' cats (5+ years). I am very active and can exercise or entertain your pet with play or runs. I have rarely met a dog I couldn't build trust with. I am working a full-time position at the University of Arizona. I am free from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m., 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays. I have full availability on weekends. I ensure to follow all the rules the pet owner has established. I will use commands and language the dog is familiar with to avoid confusion. I make sure the pets are exercised 2-3 times a day. Cleaned and brushed if needed. I am mindful of water intake and make sure that all pets are kept on their usual schedule.
“Fantastic! We are repeat customers and Zack my cat loves Xochitl. I could tell by how happy and contented Zack looked in the visit photos that he remembered Xochitl and that he felt very safe and taken care of. Highly highly recommended.”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care Rachael provided for our two felines. They are usually very hesitant around new people and prefer to hide, but Rachael’s patience and dedication quickly won them over. After only a few visits, they were literally eating from her hand. Rachael was thorough and consistent in her care, sending prompt daily recaps that included a checklist of each visit—food, litter, playtime, etc.—and thoughtful photos. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after, and her updates gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. It’s evident that Rachael treats pet sitting as a profession, not a side job. We felt completely confident leaving our pets in her care and will absolutely be using her again for future trips.”

About: 🐾 Hi! I’m someone who has grown up around animals my entire life — dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, and more — and caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. From a young age, I helped care for family pets, and over the past several years, friends and neighbors have regularly trusted me to care for their pets while they travel or work. In December 2025, after multiple recommendations from friends and neighbors, I decided to join Rover to expand my pet care services within my community. What started as part-time pet sitting has recently grown into expanded availability for boarding, house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walks. I currently share my home with both dogs and cats, so I’m very familiar with daily routines, supervising interactions, reading body language, and creating a calm, structured environment for animals with different personalities and energy levels. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, exercise needs, comfort levels, behavior changes, medications, and making sure pets feel safe, secure, and cared for while away from their owners. I’m also comfortable administering oral medications with clear instructions from pet parents. I have experience assisting with injectable medications for cats as well and am comfortable following detailed instructions for administration and care. 🐶 What Makes My Care Special: • Lots of playtime, enrichment, walks, cuddle time, and attention • Interactive toys, feeders, chew toys, and activities to keep pets mentally stimulated • Consistent communication and photo updates throughout stays • A calm, loving, low-stress home environment • Care tailored to each pet’s personality, routine, and comfort level Because I have both dogs and cats at home, it’s important that pets staying with me are safe around small animals and cats. Friendly or indifferent is perfectly fine, but I cannot accept pets with a history of aggression, high prey drive, or unsafe behavior toward cats or smaller animals. I also like to discuss each dog’s comfort level, socialization, routine, and needs beforehand to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone. I’m also open to house sitting when it’s the right fit. Because I have pets of my own, they would need to come with me for longer stays. They’re friendly, well-socialized, and respectful in the home environment, and I always prioritize maintaining a safe, calm, and comfortable space for everyone involved. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, so I truly aim to treat every animal like family while they’re with me. 🐶🐱💛 Pet care already fits naturally into my daily routine. My pets are very active, so walks, enrichment, playtime, and outdoor time are already a regular part of my day. I recently transitioned into doing pet care full-time and currently have expanded availability for boarding, drop-ins, walks, house sitting, and accepting new one-time and repeat clients. Because pet care is now my primary focus, I’m home the majority of the time and able to provide lots of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I maintain a clean, calm environment, supervise interactions closely, follow routines carefully, and do my best to make every pet feel safe, secure, and comfortable while in my care.
“Thea was great with my cat! She was very responsive to his boundaries and needs. He is a shy boy, but he seemed to warm up very quickly to her. He also takes oral medication and Thea did a great job making sure he took them, and even stayed longer than needed. I would definitely recommend booking with Thea!”

Kellie (and sometimes Harper) did a great job taking care of Cooper ! I received a daily report and pictures reafiriming all of his care It was so comforting to leave him and know that all of his needs were being met and he was in good hands. It made being away so much easier.

Andrew did another fantastic job caring for my cat while I was away for almost three weeks. He sent daily updates and pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind. When I got home, my cat was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. My cat has really grown attached to Andrew, which says a lot! It's such a relief knowing he’s in good hands, and I just hope Andrew is available every time I travel. Highly recommend!

Melayna took such amazing care of my cats while I was away. As somebody in the veterinary field it can be hard to trust someone to care for my animals, but it was very obvious from the beginning how much she truly loves and cares about the animals she watches. I had full trust that they were in good hands the entire time I was gone and that means everything to me! I would absolutely have her watch them again and will definitely be recommending her to anyone that needs a pet sitter in the future! :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
