Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. About: 🐾 Hi! I’m someone who has grown up around animals my entire life — dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, and more — and caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. From a young age, I helped care for family pets, and over the past several years, friends and neighbors have regularly trusted me to care for their pets while they travel or work. In December 2025, after multiple recommendations from friends and neighbors, I decided to join Rover to expand my pet care services within my community. What started as part-time pet sitting has recently grown into expanded availability for boarding, house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walks. I currently share my home with both dogs and cats, so I’m very familiar with daily routines, supervising interactions, reading body language, and creating a calm, structured environment for animals with different personalities and energy levels. Friendly or indifferent is perfectly fine, but I cannot accept pets with a history of aggression, high prey drive, or unsafe behavior toward cats or smaller animals. I also like to discuss each dog’s comfort level, socialization, routine, and needs beforehand to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone. I’m also open to house sitting when it’s the right fit. Because I have pets of my own, they would need to come with me for longer stays. They’re friendly, well-socialized, and respectful in the home environment, and I always prioritize maintaining a safe, calm, and comfortable space for everyone involved. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, so I truly aim to treat every animal like family while they’re with me. 🐶🐱💛 Pet care already fits naturally into my daily routine. My pets are very active, so walks, enrichment, playtime, and outdoor time are already a regular part of my day. I recently transitioned into doing pet care full-time and currently have expanded availability for boarding, drop-ins, walks, house sitting, and accepting new one-time and repeat clients. Because pet care is now my primary focus, I’m home the majority of the time and able to provide lots of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. About: I have lots of experience with dogs and cats. Throughout my childhood animals were my escape from reality. My dad bred dogs and I always loved them so much it was hard to say goodbye. In high school I took in a stray cat and it kept getting pregnant so I raised like 5 litters of kittens as well. To be honest I like animals more than people your babies are in good hands. I like to walk and get my steps in everyday so it won’t be much different walking with the doggos. I have dog and catsit for close friends and family but never strangers. Excited to do it! I work from home and my job is very flexible. I am my own boss so I can pretty much take breaks whenever I need to take your fur baby on walks or feed them as well as give them lots of attention when needed. My availability is very open and I love all animals. Since I work from home I’ll always be here to make sure your animal is well cared for and happy. About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

About: Along with my babysitting jobs growing up, I also cared for the fur babies. Everything from bunnies to fish and even turtles. I will always take special requests and read any details to make sure I give the furbabies the upmost care I can provide. I don't have experience specifically with special needs animals, but I will take my time to make sure I meet all their needs. Ive raised multiple senior pets in my own home. I will give the furbabies no matter what stage of life their in. I will water plants, give medicine and provide any grooming needs. If supplies are provided, I will clean up any messes. Ive recently had some medical issues keeping me from working my normal 9-5. Im the second income in the household, so this will be apart of my new full time work, working for myself. Taking care of pets is all dependent on them. Whatever care they need, I will provide. Im definitely a crazy cat lady and I won't hear a single word of a conversation if im petting a dog. A few years ago, I finally got a dog of my own, and that’s when I really got into training—learning how to communicate with her, build routines, and understand how she thinks. Now, I bring that same care and attention to every pet I watch, making sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I am a college student with a flexible schedule. This means i can adjust my availability based on your pets' needs, whether it's check-ins throughout the day or last minute help. About: I have watched pets for friends, family, and others off and on for about 4 years. I have helped raise 2 puppies with my family and have aided in end of life care for 2 family dogs that passed away from old age. I have one dog right now, so I am familiar with the ins and outs of having a pet and what that entails. I also did a brief stint at a doggy daycare, so I am comfortable with dog handling, feeding, routines, cleaning up and anything else needed. About: Hello! I am a pet lover who grew up with Boston terriers from ages 10-12 (20+). I also grew up working with dogs (Border Collies) on ranches, working side by side on various tasks. Because of my experience and comfort with dogs, I have been dog-sitting for friends and family my whole life. I have some experience caring for cats, including my sisters' and friends' cats (5+ years). I am very active and can exercise or entertain your pet with play or runs. I have rarley met a dog that I wasn't able to build trust with. I am a graduate student whose internship starts on the 27th of July. So I have complete availability then. Outside of that, I am typically free after 5 pm on weekdays and completely free on weekends. I ensure to follow all the rules the pet owner has established. I will use commands and language the dog is familiar with to avoid confusion. I make sure the pets are exercised 2-3 times a day. Cleaned and brushed if needed. I am mindful of water intake and make sure that all pets are kept on their usual schedule.

Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. Cynthia took great care of our dog, sent us regular updates including pictures and videos. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. When we came back we found that our dog had such a good time that I'm not sure she wanted to leave! Needless to say that Cynthia will be our first choice to watch our dog whenever the need arises! Your dog will be in good hands.”

“Her and her family were great! They seemed like super sweet genuine people. I had to find a last minute sitter as my usual girl had canceled on me due to an emergency of their own. After reaching out to so many people on here she was the only one who responded! She sent pictures throughout the day and provided me with feedback on how my little guy was doing! She was seriously a lifesaver and they definitely got the energy out of my puppy. He knocked out as soon as we got home lol!”
