About: 🐾 Hi! I’m someone who has grown up around animals my entire life — dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, and more — and caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. From a young age, I helped care for family pets, and over the past several years, friends and neighbors have regularly trusted me to care for their pets while they travel or work. In December 2025, after multiple recommendations from friends and neighbors, I decided to join Rover to expand my pet care services within my community. What started as part-time pet sitting has recently grown into expanded availability for boarding, house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walks. I currently share my home with both dogs and cats, so I’m very familiar with daily routines, supervising interactions, reading body language, and creating a calm, structured environment for animals with different personalities and energy levels. Friendly or indifferent is perfectly fine, but I cannot accept pets with a history of aggression, high prey drive, or unsafe behavior toward cats or smaller animals. I also like to discuss each dog’s comfort level, socialization, routine, and needs beforehand to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone. I’m also open to house sitting when it’s the right fit. Because I have pets of my own, they would need to come with me for longer stays. They’re friendly, well-socialized, and respectful in the home environment, and I always prioritize maintaining a safe, calm, and comfortable space for everyone involved. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, so I truly aim to treat every animal like family while they’re with me. 🐶🐱💛 Pet care already fits naturally into my daily routine. My pets are very active, so walks, enrichment, playtime, and outdoor time are already a regular part of my day. About: Hello! I am a pet lover who grew up with Boston terriers for 20+ years. I also grew up working with dogs (Border Collies) on ranches, working side by side on various tasks. Because of my experience and comfort with dogs, I have been dog-sitting for friends and family my whole life. I have some experience caring for cats, including my sisters' and friends' cats (5+ years). I am very active and can exercise or entertain your pet with play or runs. I have rarely met a dog I couldn't build trust with. I am working a full-time position at the University of Arizona. I am free from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m., 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays. I have full availability on weekends. I ensure to follow all the rules the pet owner has established. I will use commands and language the dog is familiar with to avoid confusion. I make sure the pets are exercised 2-3 times a day. Cleaned and brushed if needed. I am mindful of water intake and make sure that all pets are kept on their usual schedule.

About: I grew up surrounded by pets, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I started dog sitting for friends while in college and have loved it ever since. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I work during the week, but I’m generally available in the evenings and have a flexible schedule on weekends. I’m happy to accommodate different needs whenever possible… it’s usually just a matter of coordinating schedules in advance 😊 I live in an apartment with access to a dog park right in the complex, so there is plenty of space for walks, playtime, and fresh air. About: I have had pets all my life, and have been fostering with PACC (Pima Animal Care Center, a local animal shelter), for almost 12 years now. I have extensive experience with cats of all ages, dogs from puppies to seniors including extra experience with large and giant breed dogs, and many reptiles including bearded dragons, geckos, snakes, and more. I love animals and love keeping up to date with new science and research on their their health, behavior, and best practices for their care and training. I also have taken the Red Cross pet first aid course in addition to my years of experience working with medical cases with my fosters and my own medically complicated pets. I work full-time, but because I am at a bakery I am out by late morning to mid-afternoon at the latest so I generally have all afternoon and evening to spend with your pets. I have a fenced yard for my own Great Dane mix rescue. He is excellent with cats, and with careful introductions is friendly with other dogs. I have cats of my own that have free roam of the house, but I do have a room kept separate that I use for quarantine and kitten and cat fostering so they have their own space away from the other animals.

Sophia is amazing, her love for cats is very evident and I feel as if she genuinely cared for my cat's well-being. Sophia is very responsive to messages and willingly provides additional updates, I felt completely comfortable leaving my cat and my home in her care. Every visit Sophia took plenty of photos and included notes on behavior, water intake, eating habits, and litter box usage. My cat missed her so much after the visits ended, he even made biscuits on the sofa where they used to hang out together. I will definitely hire her again and highly recommend her to any pet owner.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
