About: I worked at a boarding business for about a year and a half for dogs and cats. I worked with all different sizes and breeds, and ages of dogs and cats. My job tittle including playing and cuddling with the animals, feeding the animals, cleaning where they stayed, and giving medicine to the animals that required it. I have a little more than basic knowledge of dogs and cats health and always try to stay up to date with that. I dog sit and cat sit for friends and families regularly aswell. I have always grown up around animals and if you were to ask anyone who knows me they will say I have always wanted to work with animals since I knew what a job was. I am currently a college student and am majoring in wildlife conservation, while that's not specifically a major for cats and animals I still have and will learn a lot about those species as well!! I currently don't have a job so my schedule is really open. I work out everyday usually in the mornings to early afternoons. But I have a very flexible schedule! I have a fenced backyard just under 2acres of land. So it is very spacious for bigger dogs to run around in! I am able to walk dogs for however long.
About: I grew up with all different types of dogs, ranging from pitbulls to shitzus. I grew up with cats as well (and currently have 3 of the sweetest cats you’ll ever meet). I also walked dogs professionally through Wag! from 2019-21. I recently separated from active duty military & moved to Tucson, so my schedule is pretty open for all pet sitting/walking appointments until the end of August! About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. My first dog was a Chihuahua who lived to be 18, so I learned a lot about caring for senior dogs and making sure they stay comfortable as they grow older. I've also grown up around horses and farm animals, and I even had a leopard gecko for a couple years. Most of my friends and family have dogs too, so I've spent plenty of time around all kinds of personalities and energy levels. Being around animals has always been something I enjoy! I'm a full time college student, so I have lots of extra time to care for your beloved companions! I have my own transportation and extremely flexible times. I live in an apartment with my Belgian Malinois, so I know firsthand how important exercise, structure, and routine can be, especially for high-energy dogs! About: I stared dog sitting my freshman year of highschool for my neighbor, but eventually I enjoyed it so much that my friends would ask me to take care of their pets while they were out of town; from dogs, cats, and even hamsters. I always enjoy being around animals and I always find a way to build a good bond with them. I am a student at U of A, all my classes are usually in the morning so I’m free most afternoons. I am free on the weekends and can do any overnight pet sitting on Fridays and Saturdays. So if you’re going out for the weekend feel free to reach out! If the house has a backyard I will let them out every hour to ensure they are using the bathroom, if the house does not have a backyard I will take the dog out for a short walk every 2-3 hours. Of course i’ll take the dogs for a long walk everyday whether the house has a backyard or not. I will follow any schedules such as feeding schedules that the owners give me.
About: I really just want to make sure that your pets and house are taken care of the same way I would take care of mine if not better. Ive been a sitter of dogs, cats, plants, and axolotls so i have a pretty good idea of how to make sure your pets are happy as possible while you have to be away I’m a botanist and work regularly 7am-4pm M-F, your pets would be the last things I see before work and the first after. I have 6 sweet kitties at home that I make sure are well exercised, fed, and loved. I wish to get to know your pets and make them as comfortable and entertained as possible. All my cats get wet and dry food, we have cat trees, multiple water fountains, maybe too many toys and even a stroller to see the world in. Here in the desert pet hydration is my number one concern, especially after treats and exercise. My partner and I push for cat hydration through occasionally mixing churu in water bowls (they love it). For dogs I will never leave the house with them without water and a bowl. I grew up here in AZ and my family dog and I have ran many miles so I know when to look for the signs that your pet needs a break, water, or to turn around. LGBTQ+ family
About: We recently lost our beloved dog, and due to frequent travel we are unable to get another for a little while. We would love to take care of your pets as we would our own, so you can rest easy that they will be cared for while you are away. We both have many years of experience caring for pets, and are comfortable with all sizes, old and young. I work from home during the week, and can provide lots of love and outdoor time as needed. We are active people, and are happy to take your pets on hikes and runs if that’s their thing, or we can keep it mellow. If your pet stays with us, we have a fully fenced yard with a shaded porch area that they are welcome to hang out in when it’s cooler outside. We don’t have any other pets on the property, so can give your pets all of our attention.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
