About: I’ve always been a total dog and cat person and honestly, I’m the one who ends up saying hi to the pets before the people 😄. I’ve cared for puppies and adult dogs, and I’ve also spent the last 6 years fostering kittens and cats, which has been such a big, happy part of my life. Being around animals just makes me feel like myself. I love getting to know their personalities, their little habits, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. About: I’ve raised three dogs throughout my life, and I love them to bits. Animals are the fresh of breath air that I need in life, and I ensure you can trust me with your baby. Since my own puppy lives with family in another state currently, I’d love to have more animals in my life. I used to walk my puppy, feed him, and most importantly I play with him daily. It’s something I enjoy greatly. In my home, your puppy will have a gated outside patio to play on, and plenty of indoor space to lay down or run around. About: I own 3 dogs, I love training dogs I like taking them to dog parks. I like to teach other dogs how to do tricks I am working a part time job but I do have a flexible schedule tand can make some time for these wonderful adorable animals . About: I stared dog sitting my freshman year of highschool for my neighbor, but eventually I enjoyed it so much that my friends would ask me to take care of their pets while they were out of town; from dogs, cats, and even hamsters. I always enjoy being around animals and I always find a way to build a good bond with them. I am a student at U of A, all my classes are usually in the morning so I’m free most afternoons. I am free on the weekends and can do any overnight pet sitting on Fridays and Saturdays. So if you’re going out for the weekend feel free to reach out! If the house has a backyard I will let them out every hour to ensure they are using the bathroom, if the house does not have a backyard I will take the dog out for a short walk every 2-3 hours. Of course i’ll take the dogs for a long walk everyday whether the house has a backyard or not. I will follow any schedules such as feeding schedules that the owners give me.

“Sydney did a fantastic job taking care of our sweet but standoffish pittie. Sydney had only met our dog once prior to petsitting for us, so we didn't know how smoothly things would go. However, Sydney was a total pro; she was able to get into our house without too much barking from our dog (treats helped!) and commence all petsitting duties. Sydney walked, fed, and watered our dog (and even took care of our hedgehog!). Sydney also hung out, picked up poop, brought our trash bins to the street, checked the mail, and sent tons of photos of our dog... all as part of the drop-in care we ordered. Sydney gave us complete peace of mind while we were away on our short vacation. We like Sydney so much that we've already booked her for a whole week later this summer, for overnights this time! About: My whole life has been around animals including 2-3 dogs in my household, caring for a guinea pig, and loving on my friends’ cats. We raised several dogs from 6 week old puppies to their senior years. Since moving out on my own I have had the opportunity to dog sit for all ages of pups. I have also always taken a special interest in volunteering at local animal shelters. I would love the chance to look after and love your animal like my own. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
