Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. About: I worked at a boarding business for cats and dogs and was around many different breeds, sizes, and ages of cats. In this job I had to clean out their litter box, feed them their desired food, and also give medicine to the ones that needed it. I also had to play and cuddle and spend time with each cat during a shift. I have always grown up around cats, my first ever pet was a cat, and I own a cat now as well. I can pick up on their moods fairly quickly and know basic knowledge of cats health.

About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

I have also taken care of close to 70 foster animals mostly kittens, with a few medical fosters, and behavioral issues along the way. I have taken courses on behavioral training for dogs as my own dog is reactive towards dogs, so I am very familiar with dog reactivity. About: i’ve grown up with animals my whole life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. i really think there’s no better feeling than the joy and companionship animals bring, and i’d love the opportunity to care for yours. over the years, family and friends have trusted me to look after their dogs while they’re away, and i always ensure they receive the attention, exercise, and care they need. i grew up with my brother, who is a professional dog trainer, and while i don’t have the same level of training, i’ve learned so much from him over the years. i can help reinforce simple commands with puppies and younger dogs, and i’m just as happy giving extra love, patience, and attention to senior dogs. i have experience living with and caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors, so i’m confident i can meet the needs of every dog and their unique personality. i especially love spending time with high energy dogs who enjoy playing or going on walks, but i’m always happy to adjust my care to whatever makes your pet feel happiest and most comfortable. i am a college student at the university of arizona and am pretty flexible with my schedule. i can do really early mornings before class and most afternoons after class. i am also very open on the weekends and would love to help out whenever needed so please feel free to reach out!!! i always make it a priority to pay attention to your pets’ needs and personalities so they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. i love spending time with animals and making sure they get the attention, exercise, and playtime they need throughout the day. i also love the calmer moments, like relaxing with them, giving them extra affection, or simply keeping them company when it’s time to wind down. i spend a lot of time with my own animals at home, making sure they receive the care, attention, and love they need to be happy, and i would love the opportunity to provide that same level of care to your pets.

About: I have taken care of both puppies and adult dogs. I have a flexible schedule and can drop by more than once daily if needed! I’m retired and have an open schedule. I can do multiple visits daily if needed. I also have the flexibility to do longer visits if needed to provide socialization and comfort for your pet! I don’t have the ability to care for pets in my home, but I’m available to go to my clients’ homes as frequently as needed. About: My whole life has been around animals including 2-3 dogs in my household, caring for a guinea pig, and loving on my friends’ cats. We raised several dogs from 6 week old puppies to their senior years. Since moving out on my own I have had the opportunity to dog sit for all ages of pups. About: I have been taking care of pets since I was 10 years old. Through the years I have walked dogs, taken care of cats and dogs while house sitting, and made sure all pets were taken good care of. These years have also taught me how to adapt to all different kinds of dogs wether they were puppies or older dogs. People have trusted and relied on me to take care of their pets when they were away and also depended on me to make sure their house was safe and secure. I am currently a student in college so I have a sufficient amount of time through out my days and weeks. In the week I do not have very long days meaning I have breaks through out the day. In addition, on the weekends I am normally home as I do not travel often. I currently live in an apartment, but I have places near me for the dog to be outside. I also live in an area where I can dog walk. In clients home I am able to respond to what the pet may need. This includes taking the pets for walks, feeding them, letting them outside to pee and poop, and playing with them.
About: It's always been a passion of mine to always work and be around animals. It's very therapeutic for me because it always puts a smile on my face. I went to school to be a Vet assistant so I have great experience in treating dogs and cats. Doing this kind of work I take in with passion because I know how important animals can be with their owners. “We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. “Can we give 100 stars? We went to Hawaii and are pretty sure our dog might have had more fun with Lara than we did on our trip. (Which is hard. The trip was awesome.) ?? Our dog is a dog's dog. He loves playing with others pups, and had the chance to do so all week. Every single video she sent showed him just having the best time with the other dogs-- and he even got to go out with the horses on the road! Our dog has A LOT of food issues and it was worrying that he would get into something (he is unable to eat anything except for his specialized food)-- not a problem. She kept him safe and made sure he didn't have anything he wasn't supposed to. Lara and her family are a true dog sitting gem. I need to plan another vacay just so our guy can stay with them again.
