“Kat took excellent care of my little Reina. I received updates on her quite frequently. Reina was taken on several walks and appeared to get a long well with Kat’s small pups. Thank you for all the care!”

“Good experience for Our dog Katie and for us. We had never boarded any of our dogs so was a little apprehensive to place our little sweetie with someone we really did not know but after our meet and greet we felt more comfortable and Sheila sent frequent updates with photos , which was very kind. We would use Sheila again , very nice .”
“It was our first time using a pet sitter service and we were a bit apprehensive about it. Julie invited us over and answered all our questions and put our worries to rest. She sent us daily pictures, Sam and Bobby were always happy and joyful. We were extremely happy with the care that they received and would not hesitate to use her again.”

“Gail is awesome!! My 13 yr old pup needed a vet visit and meds under her care and she was right on top of it. She took great care of him! Gail is my new go-to dog sitter!”

“Amazing dog family. I had to go out of town for a few days and didn't have any problem at all with fear or apprehension because I knew my animal is cared for. Extra playtime and walking because my dog is super energetic and needs the exercise. Thanks for the great job.”

“Patricia was an exceptional caregiver to my corgi. We had a good meet and greet and Pat was very prompt with communications as we set up the day/time to drop off and pick up my dog. She sent me photos throughout his stay with her, took him on multiple daily walks, followed his feeding regime and was just wonderful! I would recommend her services to any dog owner with confidence. I will be contacting her in the future whenever I need dog sitting services- she is my go to person for my corgi.”

“Barbara was great.i had to find a place for my puppy to stay for Thanksgiving, and she was willing to do so even though my puppy is only 3 months old. She sent me pics and videos every day to keep me updated on her stay with Barbara. I could see that she was having fun and that Barbara was carrying for her.”

“Darlene watched our little Sophie for 5 days, she sent pictures and communicated fast and friendly. Her environment is safe and dog friendly. She treated Sophie as part of her family. She took excellent care of our 12yr old pup, and I highly recommend her!”

“Literal godsend and a woman of patience. She took on both of my rambunctious boys and handled it with such Grace🥰 and kept me informed the whole time. Not to mention that she took them at last minute and was so kind and so sweet about it. With as much traveling as I do to Tuscon, I look forward to booking with her again.”

“Marraya and her mom were very accommodating and helpful when our other sitter fell through the day we were leaving on our trip. Our pup was taken care of and we received daily updates. Highly recommend”

“Lara was AMAZING to my Apollo. When we interviewed Lara, I knew she was the one before going to the next appointment. I'm a new pet owner and she made me feel so comfortable having my 4 month old Cavapoo around her pets. I felt Apollo was safe and well taken care of. The pictures and videos Lara sent of Apollo's daily activities were absolutely awesome! He was having so much fun!! I will recommend her every chance I get. Thank you so much Lara!”

“Jose kept my cat for a long weekend, and I couldn’t be happier. Jose gave me updates and sent pictures. My sweet girl is shy and cautious so it takes a day or so for her to warm up. By the third day, she was sunbathing on her side which means she was very comfortable. He provided a calm safe space for her. I will definitely use him again in the future and highly recommend him. Jose, thank you again!”

About: I have lots of experience with dogs and cats. Throughout my childhood animals were my escape from reality. My dad bred dogs and I always loved them so much it was hard to say goodbye. In high school I took in a stray cat and it kept getting pregnant so I raised like 5 litters of kittens as well. To be honest I like animals more than people your babies are in good hands. I like to walk and get my steps in everyday so it won’t be much different walking with the doggos. I have dog and catsit for close friends and family but never strangers. Excited to do it! I work from home and my job is very flexible. I am my own boss so I can pretty much take breaks whenever I need to take your fur baby on walks or feed them as well as give them lots of attention when needed. My availability is very open and I love all animals. Since I work from home I’ll always be here to make sure your animal is well cared for and happy. I also go on multiple walks daily anyways to try and stay active so its perfect!!

“Thomas took care of my dog for two weeks. She came home happy, healthy, and clean. Throughout her stay, I got updates about how she got along with his dogs and about their excursions. I would absolutely do this again.”

“Julia was extremely sweet and flexible with her schedule to help me. She kept me updated continuously and sent photos as well to see how my stinker was doing. I would definitely recommend her! ❤️”

“Jessica was a terrific sitter for our two dogs! They came home happy, and we really appreciated all the photos and updates showing how well they were doing while we were away. We couldn’t have been happier with the experience! Highly recommend Jessica, and she’ll definitely be our first choice for future vacations!”

“Cyd did a great job taking care of Chance for 2 weeks. Communication was great. She sent pictures, text updates and responded to texts so our time away was stress free. Chance was happy and well cared for in Cyd's home. Many thanks! We'll definitely he back”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Drexel Heights home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Drexel Heights.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Drexel Heights sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
