Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. About: I grew up with all different types of dogs, ranging from pitbulls to shitzus. I grew up with cats as well (and currently have 3 of the sweetest cats you’ll ever meet). I also walked dogs professionally through Wag! from 2019-21. About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

About: I have lots of experience with dogs and cats. Throughout my childhood animals were my escape from reality. My dad bred dogs and I always loved them so much it was hard to say goodbye. In high school I took in a stray cat and it kept getting pregnant so I raised like 5 litters of kittens as well. To be honest I like animals more than people your babies are in good hands. I like to walk and get my steps in everyday so it won’t be much different walking with the doggos. I have dog and catsit for close friends and family but never strangers. Excited to do it! I work from home and my job is very flexible. I am my own boss so I can pretty much take breaks whenever I need to take your fur baby on walks or feed them as well as give them lots of attention when needed. My availability is very open and I love all animals. Since I work from home I’ll always be here to make sure your animal is well cared for and happy. About: Hi! I've had my cat Olive for 11 years and my dog Bel for 3 years. I have also taken care of close to 70 foster animals mostly kittens, with a few medical fosters, and behavioral issues along the way. I have taken courses on behavioral training for dogs as my own dog is reactive towards dogs, so I am very familiar with dog reactivity. I currently run a small 1 man business from my home and have control over my schedule to provide care to other animals regularly. I also foster other animals from time to time. And on weekends I would be free to play with and walk the animals as needed. Class schedule: Mon 1pm-2pm Tue 9:30am-1pm then 3pm-5pm Wed 9am-2pm then 4pm-5pm Thur 9:30am-4pm Fri 1pm-2pm I do also have a job at the animal shelter for part time. That work schedule will vary but will be no more the 4-6 hours a day. Likely to be on the weekends to avoid conflict with school :) For my personal home, I will not be able to board any pets. Although I am very safe and responsible. My person pet uses a crate just for her safety when I am gone. I am good with crate training as needed for your pets as well. I make sure I clean up after every day and leave the house as clean as I can before you arrive back home to your happy animals!

I’ve owned Gray for roughly eight years and he’s always had the best of the best. Bean I’ve had for almost two years and he gets the same treatment as his brother. Bambi I’ve had since she was 2 months! I’ve done my research on how to train her and she’s just been a perfect addition to my pet family.
About: My whole life has been around animals including 2-3 dogs in my household, caring for a guinea pig, and loving on my friends’ cats. We raised several dogs from 6 week old puppies to their senior years. Since moving out on my own I have had the opportunity to dog sit for all ages of pups. I have also always taken a special interest in volunteering at local animal shelters. I would love the chance to look after and love your animal like my own. I recently moved to the area and have time before my program starts. My days are all about learning the area and preparing for classes so my availability is extremely flexible. Would also love to build relationships that can continue once my program starts and I can be a regular part of your pets life. I have reliable transportation and can be available most times of day. Not currently offering in home service but could be flexible for returning clients!
About: I am a highly active person, I run daily and regularly work out at home. I have lived with and cared for multiple dogs over my life and have experience with both young energetic dogs and older dogs. I have a vehicle and would love to take dogs to the park or trail depending on their exercise needs. I can also provide grooming or bathing for any dog if necessary and will gladly care for dogs with special needs or dietary restrictions. I am currently a masters student at the University of Arizona and will be attending classes Monday-Friday with availability to care for pets in the afternoons or evenings. My schedule is flexible on weekends and I will be available for overnight stays or morning activities as arranged. I care for my dog daily: every morning we go for a run together and I often spend the evenings taking him out to play in our yard. I love to be active in the morning before the sun is up and am highly conscious of my dogs needs throughout the day. In clients homes I strive to give their pets the same standards and routines they are used to. I will always ask for as many details as possible in order to make sure they are comfortable and feel safe with me. I am laid back and comfortable providing specialized care whenever needed. Because I’ve spent most of my life with animals, I am highly observant and will notice when behavior or mannerisms appear abnormal, so you can trust I will always communicate and update clients on their pets health.

I studied for 4 months as a veterinary assistant, and while I wasn’t able to finish my program, animals have always been my passion. Your dog will feel right at home—Roxy and I love to play, explore, and enjoy time in the yard. I ensure all pets are fed on time, get regular walks, potty breaks, and plenty of snuggles. I provide daily updates, pictures, and video calls, so you can see how your furry friend is doing. I accept all sizes of dogs, and I offer boarding, walks, drop-ins—whatever works best for you. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. “We have never used Rover before, but Miriam was wonderful. She took in our 2 dogs as if they were hers. She played with the guys and worked with them to get them to eat (which is no small chore with our guys). She has a wonderful house with a great back yard and our dogs made themselves at home.
