I've been trusted with and have absolutely loved taking care of very many pets from a lot of different families since I was around 12. I've taken care of all sizes from yorkies to great pyrenees, and newborn puppies to 15 year old dogs! I've also taken care of many cats which I love just as much. My first dog had an unexpected litter of puppies after we rescued her, and since I kept one of them I learned quite a lot about training and taking care of puppies through all stages of their lives! I feel I can read a dog's behavior/body language very well, and recognize individual personality traits to make sure they are comfortable, happy, and healthy with me. All dogs have different needs, personalities, and energy levels and I love meeting and taking care of all different combinations! I truly love animals and feel so grateful for the ability to work with them for a living. They are not just a way to make some extra cash for me, I want to spend my life working with them :) *I have also taken care of many bunnies, hamsters, mice, rats, guinea pigs, snakes, birds, and fish!

Safety, trust & environment
I always make sure to take time to gain dogs' trust and get to know their personalities so I can take care of them best! My main priorities are the dogs' happiness, comfort, and safety. I am always very careful about opening doors, and I go outside with them as well in case of coyotes, snakes, etc.! I always make sure they feel very loved, safe, happy as can be! I tend to do things based on their energy levels and/or needs. Even if your dog is energetic, I'd love to play with them all day long to keep them content :) If there are any special things your dog likes, let me know! I also have many plants of my own and can take care of yours if needed as well. 🌟**Boarding/Daycare specific** I have a cozy, very dog friendly apartment as well as a dog of my own! She is about a year and a half old, around 60lbs, and she absolutely LOVES friends, both dog & human, big or small! She has no problem sharing her toys and would love to play all day, so your pup would definitely be kept content throughout the day. There is also a dog park in the complex, as well as a free pet spa, so I'm able to give your pup a bath as well if you'd like :) Outside of her potty breaks, she gets at least one long walk a day (two or three when it's cooler outside) and some park time, so yours will always get the same (or more, if preferred!). We are on the second floor, so your pup will have to be okay with going up and down stairs, or be able to be carried up. Indie is very excited to make new friends, and so are we!!

Melayna did an outstanding job with our two elderly labs. Our male lab has diabetes and Melayna mastered his insulin shots and his feeding regimen perfectly. We were so nervous leaving them because Melayna was not someone we knew. We found her on this app. We could not recommend her more! You can actually relax and enjoy your trip knowing your pets are in good hands!
Melayna was fantastic! We are new to the area and were nervous to find someone to care for all 7 of our animals. We know it can be a lot and Melayna handled it super well. She sent daily updates with pictures and we didn’t worry once during our week long trip. She had excellent communication and the house was just as we left it when we got back. We would absolutely recommend her and will be using her services again in the future!

Melayna was fantastic! Highly recommend her if you're looking for a sitter. She stayed a couple night at our house, watching our pup and she was great! She sent multiple pictures throughout the day and communicating with her from the beginning was just amazing; clear and quick! We will 1000% use Melayna again for future sittings. Our pup was so happy with her, and the house was immaculate :)
Melayna took such amazing care of my cats while I was away. As somebody in the veterinary field it can be hard to trust someone to care for my animals, but it was very obvious from the beginning how much she truly loves and cares about the animals she watches. I had full trust that they were in good hands the entire time I was gone and that means everything to me! I would absolutely have her watch them again and will definitely be recommending her to anyone that needs a pet sitter in the future! :)
Melayna was wonderful with our dog and cat. We got lots of updates which was much appreciated. 100% recommend! Our pets loved her.

Schedule
I have a very flexible schedule, and do not work full-time OR part-time, which means I work full time for you and your lovely pets! I am available most times, all days of the week! My friend Zoe (she is mentioned in some of my reviews) works with me as well, so you have a built-in backup in case anything unexpected comes up! Your pets are always our #1 priority :)

- Please let me know if your pet is not good on leashes, has any special needs or dietary/medical issues or concerns, is reactive towards other dogs/people, etc. Also if they have/have tried to escape the house or yard. I want to make sure I have all the necessary information to keep them safe, happy and comfortable! I will never feed your dog any food that is not approved by you. :) **A written note/text with all the important house and pet info would be very much appreciated to make sure nothing is forgotten!!**
