“Amanda is great! Our senior dog, Luna, can be a little finicky and loves Amanda. We can tell when we get home that Luna has been well taken care of and our house is in great shape. We have used her for house sitting and drop in visits and couldn’t recommend her more.”

“Vanessa has been fantastic in taking care of our cat, Joe. Usually Joe is pretty standoffish around people, but with Vanessa he was very social. Vanessa provided excellently, timely reports on her visits and provided wonderful pictures of Joe for each visit. Vanessa provided peace-of-mind while we were away from our pet. I highly recommend Vanessa (and so does Joe) if you're needing a pet sitter.”

“Kellie was wonderful! It was my first time using Rover and I had a great experience with her watching my two cats 💙💙 she was very attentive and gave me updates on the boys every time she dropped in!”

“My second time booking with Griselda and everything went wonderful (as expected)! Great updates during her visits and I always return to a happy and well cared for pet! Five stars - I absolutely recommend booking with Griselda!”

“Pamela did a absolutely great job taking care of our two cats while we were gone. Really went above and beyond. Sent great updates each visit. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking with her in the future!”

“Melayna and Zoe did a great job taking care of Poe and Ghost Pepper while I was away. They did everything I asked them to and got along great with Poe (Ghost Pepper hid the whole time which I expected- hence the name Ghost Pepper! 😆) They also sent daily pics! I would definitely recommend Melayna for cat sitting to anyone!”

“My doodle Luna had a blast playing with Seth and family. Enough of her puppy energy was dissipated that she had a good, long sleep. She was sad to see the drop-in visit end but will now be happy to be dropped off at the "fun family's" house for day-care and in-home boarding.”

“Thank you so much Danielle for being the best kitty caretaker. It’s is such a blessing to know they are in safe hands and that Leo has a friend to look forward to playing with every day! We appreciate you!”

“Ashley is simply wonderful! My cat really loves her and she’s a breath of fresh air when it comes to providing for your kitty while you are away. Thank you, Ashley for everything you do!”

“Jennifer is amazing! She is very attentive to my cat’s needs and is always flexible and communicative. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and conscientious sitter!”

About: I have walked dogs and taken care of animals since I was young. As a nanny, I walked the families dogs daily and house sat for them. My family and I traveled for the past two years throughout the US to discover new places and experiences. Our daughter (7) and our dog (9) were along for the ride! We housesat, long term, in a few places and love taking care of animals. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages along with cats, chickens, horses, and other animals. We are artists who work from home so if boarding with me, your dog will never be alone for long. We are active and our dog gets two walks a day. Please be mindful that we do have a 7 year old child and our dog does need to do a meet and greet with any boarders. I currently have a very flexible schedule with lots of availability to stop in to play, take walks, and board your best friend. Message me if you need a time not offered. Caring for a pet in your home is a responsibility I take seriously. Its great to be in their own environment and I strive to keep them on their regular schedule as best as possible. My family and I traveled the country from house sit to house sit so I understand how important it is to respect everyone's space, home, and peace of mind. Typically, a house sit on Rover would be just myself coming to take care of your pet with the possibility of meeting up with my husband, daughter, and dog outside of the home if it were okay with the owner.
“Karol did amazing with my fur babies! This was the first time I've had anyone but family watch our animals when we leave town and she was great! I highly recommend her to anyone!”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care Rachael provided for our two felines. They are usually very hesitant around new people and prefer to hide, but Rachael’s patience and dedication quickly won them over. After only a few visits, they were literally eating from her hand. Rachael was thorough and consistent in her care, sending prompt daily recaps that included a checklist of each visit—food, litter, playtime, etc.—and thoughtful photos. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after, and her updates gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. It’s evident that Rachael treats pet sitting as a profession, not a side job. We felt completely confident leaving our pets in her care and will absolutely be using her again for future trips.”

About: I am currently a veterinary student at the University of Arizona’s College of Veterinary Medicine, and I have worked at veterinary clinics in the Tucson community for the past four years. I am currently a full-time veterinary student with classes during the week, but I have weekends and evenings off to help take care of our community’s furry friends! In order to provide an environment in which you feel your pet is being properly cared for, I can offer several photo updates a day.
About: My experience with animal care began early in life. I have been dog sitting since I was ten years old, developing practical skills in handling, supervising, and caring for dogs with diverse needs. I also have been riding horses since the age of 5, which has strengthened my understanding of animal behavior, patience, and responsible handling. Neighbors and family have trusted me to feed, care, play and attend to their precious fur babies for years. I am currently a student at the University of Arizona. Most of my classes are online this semester which makes me pretty available all day. Thursdays tend to be my only busy day but I could still be available in the early mornings if need be! Safety, trust and a calm environment are the foundation of my pet care approach. I prioritize secure surroundings, close supervision, and consistent routines to ensure every animal feels comfortable and protected. Pet owners can feel confident knowing their pets are cared for in a dependable and attentive setting.
“Alison is great! Communicates and is reliable. She saved us when a day trip turned out to be longer than expected, and took extra care of our boy when he was scared because of thunder. Thanks Alison!”

About: I was born into a family full of dogs. Everyone in my family has at least two or more dogs. I have experience from parvo injections, to failing back legs of senior dogs. The love I have for animals is undeniable. I would love to make a living with animals. Let me smother your furry friend in cuddles ♥️ I recently left my job to dedicate all my time for Rover. I keep my schedule as free as possible to dedicate my time to any last minute rover requests that might come through! I am free ALL THE TIME. I will offer nothing but the most loving care to your fur baby. They deserve nothing but the best. If the doggo is happy I’m happy.
Oro Valley pet parents share their Rover experiences
We loved Kayla! We hired her to water our veggie plants twice a day while were were out of town. She showed up on time the morning before we left. She was polite, attentive, and had lovely manners. After we returned from our trip, it was clear that she had taken excellent care of our plants. Everything looked great! I would absolutely trust her with pets and would hire her again in an instant.

Melayna gave me the comfort I needed to be able to confidently leave my babies for a weekend out of town. I felt like they were cared for as well as I would care for them myself and that’s peace of mind that I’ve never experienced. She was always sending updates and photos and reached out if she had any questions. I will be using Melayna and again! My boys will be excited to have her and Zoe back!!!
