About: Hello, and thanks for stopping by! I'm a dedicated pet sitter and house caretaker with 35 years of experience. I am CPR certified and have cared for all ages and medical needs. I have looked after a variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds, turtles, fish, and rodents. Other careers in my wheelhouse include radio broadcasting and banking. I also have experience in hospitality so I understand the importance of housekeeping, and how to keep a clean and sanitary home. I also worked in the healthcare industry so I have plenty of experience caring for others. Bonus!! About: Animals have always held a special place in my heart. I have been pet sitting since my early teens through Facebook inquiries and I previously had been pet sitting through Wag. (I still pet sit through Wag, but I wanted to give Rover a chance!) I have dogs and cats of my own, so I understand that every animal has different needs and different boundaries. But outside those days, I am completely free and I am able to do as many check ins as the pet parent needs. I ensure I read any instructions the pet parent leaves for me. My main goal is to ensure the pet is as comfortable as possible and of course the person to know that best, is the pet parent! I would hate to stray from any schedule a pet has as it’s already stressful enough when a parent is gone. I am really big on communication so if the pet parent wants me to stay in the home the whole time during the visit, or to only have check ins, I will make sure that is communicated.

Samirah is an AMAZING human! Seriously one of the best pet sitter’s we’ve ever had. My dog had an unexpected medical emergency while we were gone and had to go to the emergency vet, Samirah got him there super quickly even though it was very late at night, took amazing care of him while he was scared at the ER, and was super communicative with us the whole time while we drove back home. Obviously it was not an ideal situation to have while we were on vacation but we felt so comforted to know that Samirah was taking great care of him. Even the staff at the emergency vet told me how amazing she was with him!!!! She also took great care of our cat and our house even with a sick puppy to look after! Victoria took us last minute as we had a death in the family and she worked out perfect. Our four dogs were comfortable and fully at home with her in our absence. We loved getting a daily photo of our babies. Will definitely recommend her and we will be using her again.

Di (Laura) She did a fantastic job of taking care of our dog Scout. She took the dog walking nearly every day despite very cold and snowy conditions.
