“Griselda was great with Bruno! Our family dog is 12 y.o. has diabetes and is blind due to the sickness. We were worried about leaving Bruno home while we went out of town, but Griselda’s experience with dogs is amazing. She fed him twice a day and kept being persistent with his eating because Bruno tends to not eat while we’re away, but she was patient and fed him. She is also well versed in administrating insulin shots. Bruno needs his insulin shot twice a day, everyday, and Griselda was experienced and knew how to do it. My family and I will most definitely get her services again! Highly recommend.”
“Joe was great! I think the dogs like him more than us now. He kept to the schedule and provided constant updates and photos. Would definitely recommend him to anyone and will use him again going forward when the doggos need watching.”

“We had a great experience with Lauren. She came by to let out my dogs Presley and Kovu and took such good care of them. She was reliable and communicative. The dogs seemed happy and comfortable with her. We really appreciated the updates and care she gave them and would absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Wonderful and always communicated and sent pictures. Have already rebooked with her. Cant say thanks enough for her willingness to drive to a decent remote area of Arizona to help with my dog and cat. It takes a lot of stress off regarding my busy schedule.”

“Robert is absolutely amazing! He is super helpful, keeps us updated on our pup, and has been very patient with Juno! Couldn't recommend a better sitter than him, and we're so lucky to have him helping us out!”

“Melayna and Zoe did a great job taking care of Poe and Ghost Pepper while I was away. They did everything I asked them to and got along great with Poe (Ghost Pepper hid the whole time which I expected- hence the name Ghost Pepper! 😆) They also sent daily pics! I would definitely recommend Melayna for cat sitting to anyone!”

About: I grew up with Dobermans and hunting dogs and owned a pet grooming, boarding and pet sitting agency along with raising my own animals including guinea pigs and cats. I work full time but have plenty of time for drop ins or walks in the mornings and evenings. I also am free all of Saturday and Sunday. I can also house sit on weekends if needed. I have experience with crate training, letting animals out and getting them back in and also walking with all types of leads. I am capable just spending time with your pet and playing with them and their favorite toy or game.
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always been something I genuinely love. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies that require constant attention to senior dogs with unique needs. I’ve also helped train puppies, including teaching basic commands, reinforcing good behavior, and building positive routines. I understand that every dog has a different personality, and I take the time to earn their trust while making them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. My goal is to build a strong connection with every pet I care for and provide the same patience, affection, and attention I would give my own. Whether your dog is playful and energetic or older and needs extra care, you can count on me to treat them like family. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I currently work part time as a babysitter, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be available on weekdays from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This flexibility allows me to provide dependable care, whether it’s morning walks, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping pets company while their owners are away. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and make it a priority to give each pet the attention, love, and care they deserve. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I care for every pet as if they were my own by making sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. With my own dog, I take him on regular walks, continue his training, keep him clean, trim his nails when needed, and even keep him light grooming. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I typically house sit so they can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I make sure they stay on their normal routine by taking them outside for potty breaks, going on walks, playing with them, feeding them on schedule, and giving them lots of love and companionship. I believe building trust with both pets and their owners is essential, and I’m committed to providing a safe, reliable, and stress free experience every time.
About: What sets me apart is my calm, patient approach and strong attention to detail. I make sure each pet feels comfortable and understood, and I take the time to learn their individual preferences, sensitivities, and quirks. Whether your pet needs structured play, slow-paced walks, medication given on schedule, or extra reassurance while you’re away, I’ve got them covered. I’m currently a full-time veterinary student, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet care. I’m able to fit visits, drop-ins, and walks around my classes, and I always make sure I have dedicated time to give each pet the attention they need. I treat your home with the same respect I give my own. I keep feeding areas clean, tidy up any messes, and make sure the space is safe before I leave. I’m detail-oriented and safety-focused, and I never rush through visits—I want every pet to feel cared for, not just “checked on.”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have grown up surrounded by pets. I’ve had dogs and other animals of my own, and caring for animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy. I currently volunteer regularly at local animal shelters, including the Arizona Humane Society, where I get to spend time caring for and supporting animals in need. I also have previous dog-sitting experience from high school and am excited to get back into it! While I’m unable to have a dog of my own right now because of school, dog sitting gives me the opportunity to spend time with the animals I love. I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own, with patience, attention, affection, and plenty of love. 🐾❤️ I work full-time Monday through Friday from 8 AM–5 PM. If you’re located close to my workplace, I have a full hour lunch break and can stop by for a midday check-in, potty break, or some extra love and attention. For dog sitting, I’m available after 7 PM on weekdays and can do overnight stays, as I typically like to hit the gym after work. Weekends are where I have the most flexibility and I’m fully available to give your pets plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and cuddles. 🐾❤️ I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and will always do my best to provide reliable, consistent care! When caring for pets in your home, I have a consistent routine that can easily be adjusted to fit your pet’s normal schedule and needs. I naturally wake up around 7 AM and start my day with a morning walk or run, which I’d be happy to include your pup in! Since I live in Arizona, I’m mindful of the heat and will plan outdoor activities for earlier in the morning or cooler times of the day to keep your pet safe and comfortable. Throughout the day, I’ll set aside dedicated time for play, attention, and enrichment. I also enjoy incorporating simple training exercises into playtime when appropriate, especially if your pet enjoys learning and mental stimulation. I do set aside about two hours each day for the gym, so there will be a short period when I’m away. Outside of that, my schedule is very flexible, and I’m happy to adjust my routine around your pet’s feeding, walking, medication, bathroom, and rest schedule. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable, cared for, and right at home while you’re away. 🐾❤️
About: Hi, my name is Tamara. I'm new to Rover. I have lived with and cared for animals my entire life. I volunteer for a local pet rescue and absolutely love animals! I work from home Mon-Fri so I am home all day, which means your babies get a lot of attention, walks and potty breaks! Lucky them! I have a block walled backyard with lots of room for running around and playing. My neighborhood is very safe and since I work from home, I am there all day to keep an eye on your babies.
About: With 30+ years of life with cats & dogs, I bring calm, loving, experienced care tailored to each dog or cat’s unique needs. I pay close attention to routines, energy levels, and personalities, whether that means long walks, slow strolls, playtime, or quiet companionship. My goal is for your cat or dog to feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for, not just watched, while you’re away. I own my own business and work from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule. Because I’m in control of my day, dogs/cats get consistent attention, timely walks, meals on schedule, and plenty of companionship, never long stretches alone. This allows me to truly adapt to each dog’s/cat’s routine, energy level, and individual needs. I’m happy to care for your dog/cat in the comfort of your own home, where they feel safest and most relaxed. I follow your routines closely, i.e. walks, meals, medications, and playtime, so your dog’s/cats’s day stays familiar while you’re away. Being in their own space helps reduce stress and keeps things calm and comfortable.
“Brit took care of my four kitties while I was on vacation. She was wonderful to work with and took the time and care to send me pictures and notes at each visit. I can always tell the quality of the service by how my kitties are when I get home, and they absolutely loved Brit. I highly recommend her!”

About: I currently have a 10 year old small rescue dog of my own. She was shy at first but after much love and caring I got her out of her shell. I have experience with rescue dogs and dogs requiring special medication/needs. I am taking care of my dog with Addison's disease, requiring daily medicine and special food diet. I can take dogs on long walks, to the dog park, stay over at your place to comfort them and get plenty of play/ love time. I am a grad student with a flexible schedule and can cater to you and your dogs needs to ensure they have a great time away. My whole life I have had small/ medium dogs as family pets and can manage to take care of them. I also have a small kitten that I recently adopted to house train. I have a love for animals. Looking forward to meeting the dogs/ cats and owners! Looking forward to being flexible with your schedule and pets needs. I am a morning person and would love to start my day and end my day with your pet. I have a fenced yard that is safe for the animals. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
