About: My name is Kat Johnson! I am available for house-sitting stays for cats and dogs of all breeds and care levels. I have several years of experience caring for both cats and dogs. I’m a graduate student at SNHU and I previously worked for PetSmart as a groomer. I’ve been trained in pet care and safety, with new updated training on a regular basis. About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have grown up surrounded by pets. I’ve had dogs and other animals of my own, and caring for animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy. I currently volunteer regularly at local animal shelters, including the Arizona Humane Society, where I get to spend time caring for and supporting animals in need. Since I live in Arizona, I’m mindful of the heat and will plan outdoor activities for earlier in the morning or cooler times of the day to keep your pet safe and comfortable. Throughout the day, I’ll set aside dedicated time for play, attention, and enrichment. I also enjoy incorporating simple training exercises into playtime when appropriate, especially if your pet enjoys learning and mental stimulation. I do set aside about two hours each day for the gym, so there will be a short period when I’m away. Outside of that, my schedule is very flexible, and I’m happy to adjust my routine around your pet’s feeding, walking, medication, bathroom, and rest schedule. About: I’ve had dogs & cats since I was a kid! As soon as I was old enough, I would pet sit for neighbors and when I started driving, I would house sit for families in the summer. Responsibilities included feeding, walking, brushing, and playing with dogs & cats. I have a flexible schedule and want to spend time with you pets when I can! I work from home which allows me flexibility to drop in :) I am comfortable following the guidelines you set for caring for your pet!
