Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a very flexible schedule. I’m able to plan my day around the needs of the pets I’m caring for, whether that means early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime. My availability allows me to give animals the attention, companionship, and consistency they need throughout the day.

At home I care for my cat like she’s my baby. I start each day by feeding her first thing in the morning and always ensure she has a full, fresh water bowl. Since I currently work from home, I’m able to be very attentive throughout the day. I make sure she gets outdoor time, engage playing with her, and give lots of cuddles. I bring that same level of care, attentiveness, and love to every animal I care for, whether it’s a cat, dog, or another species. Your pet will be treated like one of my own.

A typical day
A day with me would include a lot of fun activities! After feeding your pet and making sure they’re happy and settled, we’ll dive into some playtime tailored to their personality. That could be chasing toys, lounging in the sun, exploring the yard, or enjoying a gentle spa session. I also have training experience and can work on fun brain activities! I love keeping pets mentally stimulated too, so we might try some puzzle treats or practice simple commands. If your pet enjoys walks or runs, we’ll go on a fun stroll filled with sniffs and sights. And of course, there will be plenty of cuddles, belly rubs, and calm hangout time to wind down.

Pet care experience
With over 10 years of experience caring for animals, including reptiles, cats, and dogs, I bring a deep understanding and genuine love for all kinds of pets. For the past 5 years, I’ve been a dedicated foster for many animals, including various dog breeds. I have cared for small as well as big dogs, and have fostered multiple mixed pitty breeds working on training. I also regularly walk dogs at PACC and have bent doing that at various shelters since I was in middle school. I have a flexible schedule, which means I can be fully present and responsive to your pet’s needs, whether that’s frequent potty breaks, outdoor adventures, or quiet companionship at home. I’m equally comfortable going for runs with high-energy pups or creating a calm, cozy environment for shy or senior animals. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority, and I’m committed to making them feel safe, loved, and at home.

Sophia is amazing, her love for cats is very evident and I feel as if she genuinely cared for my cat's well-being. Sophia is very responsive to messages and willingly provides additional updates, I felt completely comfortable leaving my cat and my home in her care. Every visit Sophia took plenty of photos and included notes on behavior, water intake, eating habits, and litter box usage. My cat missed her so much after the visits ended, he even made biscuits on the sofa where they used to hang out together. I will definitely hire her again and highly recommend her to any pet owner.
I had adopted a German Shepherd, and 4 days later asked Sophia if she could watch him for 7+ days. She took on this immense responsibility with such class, kindness, warmheartedness, and with a true desire to make his experience the best she could give him. Her communication was second to none by responding quickly to texts (within the hour), making time for FaceTimes, sending pictures, and updating frequently as asked. She made my mind and travel experience at ease knowing that she was taking great care of my brand new baby boy. Mind you, this was all over the Christmas holiday. Her sacrifice during the holidays was incredibly appreciated and I would recommend Sophia to anyone who needs comfort knowing that their animal is in wonderful hands.
I can’t recommend Sophia highly enough as a pet sitter. She’s incredibly attentive and always follows instructions to the letter, which gave me great peace of mind. What really sets her apart is her huge heart—she truly loves all animals and treats every pet with the same care and compassion she’d give her own. Sophia has extensive experience fostering both cats and dogs, including pets with medical needs or behavioral challenges. She’s calm, patient, and loving in every situation. I would absolutely trust her with my own pet, and I know any animal in her care is in excellent hands.
