“Did a great job dropping in on my kitties! They have a specific feeding routine that requires measuring out raw food with a scale and dosing medication into one of their meals. She handled both tasks with ease and seemed incredibly comfortable with the routine. She even went the extra mile by turning my plant lights on and off! She is very friendly, offers highly competitive pricing, and left me feeling completely confident that my cats were in good hands. I look forward to booking with her again!”

“Maggie was wonderful with our cats and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. She went above and beyond during the meet-and-greet, genuinely taking the time to get to know each of our cats and their unique needs. It was clear how much she cares, and we’re so grateful for the love and attention she gave them. We can’t wait to book with her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs and friends animals for at least 5 years with no issues. I’ve fed, walked, bathed, loved and snuggled many friends and family members animals as well as my own I am primarily a stay at home wife with a wide range of availability. We do take a few various trips throughout the year but I do my best to keep my schedule updated! I care for the pets at their own home as I find this easier on them being in their own environment. I follow schedules my client leaves for me regarding walks, feeding, sleep/bedtime routines, etc. Play time and snuggle time are always included with lots of love given as if they are my own
“Rachel was amazing with my girl, Charlie, who can be quite stubborn and takes a while to warm up to new people. She was so patient and understanding, and Charlie ended up being so comfortable with her! Rachel sent lots of updates and pictures throughout the stay, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. I can't thank her enough for showing Charlie so much love and care. Highly recommend Rachel if you're looking for someone who will go above and beyond!”

About: I grew up with dogs and had cats as pets as an adult. I love both dogs and cats (and all animals) but have the most experience with these two. I can do dog walks, grooming for both dogs and cats, drop ins for feeding, bathroom and any other needs, overnight stays and longer term stays if needed! Please note: I'm happy to travel for meet & greets and bookings, but for locations more than 15 miles from me will include a travel fee due to distance and fuel costs. Please message prior to booking if you are outside this range. Thanks for understanding - it helps me keep providing reliable care for clients. Same-day requests may also incur an additional fee depending on availability. *Lastly* if you see any dates on my calendar that looked blocked off (especially if they're highlighted in yellow) you can still reach out to see if you're close enough for me to do drop in visits! Dates highlighted in yellow just mean I have another booking but I'm still able to fit in drop in visits! 😊 I work remotely so I'm more flexible, esp if I'm doing any daytime or overnight stays. I work 7 am-4 pm M-F and can easily step away from my job as needed. I'm gentle, safe, reliable, intuitive and quick to pick up on how animals are feeling. I also take into consideration any special needs animals may have.
About: I started off as a volunteer at the animal shelter where they gave us classes on how to properly walk dogs as well as how to react to their different emotions. I usually take walks on my own around sunrise or sunset for about an hour. Depending on how hot it is outside I may take longer or shorter walks. I have a big backyard which is fenced in where dogs have the space to go around. My favorite thing to do with dogs is actually just chasing them around or having them chase me.
About: Hi! I'm Nancy, and animals have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Growing up, I helped my parents care for our pets, learning how to wash and groom our dogs from my mom. Over the years, I've had the joy of feeding, walking, and babysitting my neighbors' dogs, treating each one as if they were my own. Today, I'm the proud parent of four beautiful and adorable dogs who fill my life with love, laughter and so much joy. Caring for animals isn't just something I do—it's definitely part of who I am. When you entrust your beloved pets to me, you can rest assured they'll receive the same affection and attention I give to my own. As a stay-at-home mom, my days are centered around caring for both my family and our 4 dogs. This lifestyle allows me to offer flexible and attentive pet sitting services, ensuring your pets receive the love and care they deserve throughout the day. Whether it's a midday walk, feeding, or just some extra cuddles, I'm available to accommodate your pet's routine. Being home-based means I can provide consistent and personalized attention, making your pet feel comfortable and cherished while you're away. Your pet's safety and well-being are my top priorities. I understand that each animal has unique needs, and I strive to provide personalized care that ensures they feel loved and secure. From maintaining their regular routines to offering plenty of affection and attention, I treat your pets as if they were my own. You can have peace of mind knowing that your pets are in a safe, nurturing environment where their happiness and health come first.
“Julie exceeded our expectations during her drop in! She played with our pup the entire time and walked him, we could tell from all the pics she sent that he was happy and loved her! Highly recommend!!”

“I can't recommend Colby enough! She provided exceptional care for my dogs, Lilo and Odin, while I was on a last minute work trip. Right from the start, I felt completely at ease. She walked them, fed them, and made sure they got plenty of playtime. She even putt on YouTube videos for their entertainment! My dogs can be a handful, but Colby handled their energy and personalities very well, clearly showing her experience and calm demeanor. I especially appreciated the updates she sent after every walk, complete with fun pictures. Lilo and Odin were clearly happy and well-loved in her care. If you need a trustworthy, compassionate, and highly capable dog walker, Colby is the one! I will be rebooking!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
