“Alora did an excellent job of keeping our pets fed and happy while we were out of town. We highly recommend her for watching pets. Thank you for your patience and understanding with our fur babies.”

About: Hello, my name is Adriana. I've had dogs for a little over 10 years, along with 2 cats, and a few birds. Not all at the same time. If there is any more information about your pet that you believe I need to know I would love to be informed. If you need me to stay a little longer than planned, please let me know as soon as possible. If you would like to ask any questions please ask me through a message on here. Thank you for taking the time to check my profile. Pet care fits into my daily routine because I have a cat. So pet care is routine in my everyday life. Plus my family has pets I help take care of when I go visit. I care for pets in client's homes by following their care plan that has been provided by said client. Any additional information/ instructions will be followed to the best of my availability.
“Annette was wonderful while taking care of my 3 cats! Everytime she stopped by she played with them and cleaned up after them. I had one cat who kept spilling thir water bowl and she cleaned it up everytime even went above and beyond to wash the towels as well. I appreciate everything she did and will definitely request her again in the future! Thank you Annette!!”

About: I grew up with dogs and had cats as pets as an adult. I love both dogs and cats (and all animals) but have the most experience with these two. I can do dog walks, grooming for both dogs and cats, drop ins for feeding, bathroom and any other needs, overnight stays and longer term stays if needed! Please note: I'm happy to travel for meet & greets and bookings, but for locations more than 15 miles from me will include a travel fee due to distance and fuel costs. Please message prior to booking if you are outside this range. Thanks for understanding - it helps me keep providing reliable care for clients. Same-day requests may also incur an additional fee depending on availability. *Lastly* if you see any dates on my calendar that looked blocked off (especially if they're highlighted in yellow) you can still reach out to see if you're close enough for me to do drop in visits! Dates highlighted in yellow just mean I have another booking but I'm still able to fit in drop in visits! 😊 I work remotely so I'm more flexible, esp if I'm doing any daytime or overnight stays. I work 7 am-4 pm M-F and can easily step away from my job as needed. I'm gentle, safe, reliable, intuitive and quick to pick up on how animals are feeling. I also take into consideration any special needs animals may have.
“Ash was amazing with our two cats! She was very communicative, sent great pictures, and spent the time to get to know the two during our meet and greet especially their slightly complicated feeding routine. Both our cats were super relaxed and seemed to barely notice we were gone when we came back!”

About: I grew up with dogs and have pet sat for family and friends over the years. I even pet sat 2 birds when I was 11, learning that I am not a bird person 😅 but I love the pups. I have a year of professional dog walking experience and am excited to be able to add pet sitting. I have helped train the family pets my whole life mostly the basics: perimeter training, no jumping, stay, sit, etc. I will implement any training techniques and goals you have been working on with your pup to be sure they keep growing. If your pup is in their final years I would love to help you make them the best. I was able to see my beloved Rocky and Zuri through all their days. Zuri's hips where too weak in the end. A almost hundred pound rhodesian ridgeback, I would carry her when needed often having her lay on blankets and pulling her around the house then lifting her out side. She was such a sweet girl her and Rocky both lived for about 14 years. I am available any day after 2pm. I work mornings so am not always availble in the mornings. During the summer this does lead to later walk times since the heat is so much. If sitting it would also mean really early walks on my work days. When am taking care of another's beloved pup I do my best to maintain their routine and any precaution their parents take. I.e. keep on the leash, watch that they don't eat stuff, crating when home alone, etc.

“Very communicative and left detailed reports of how my cat was doing. She included photos in her reports, too, which was so fun to see while away. Absolutely recommend her for taking care of your fur baby!”

“Lauren did a very nice job checking in on our two senior cats during our international vacation. She followed guidance very thoughtfully, sent sweet pictures of the cats, and was respectful of our home space. She was willing and able to pivot when our travel schedule changed a bit and we were so grateful for her genuine care for our cats in our absence.”

About: In my house hold we have owned many pets of all shapes and sizes. I have always been surrounded with pets and love each and everyone. Every animal has a different personality and I always love to get to know each one and what they like and dislike. Right now in my house we have three dogs two cats and a tortoise. I have a job working in the morning for 4-5 hours then a 2-3 hour break then more work for 4 hours then I am off during the week and on the weekend I free so I have plenty of time to let dogs out on my break and be with them for a little before going back to work. I have been babysitting for many years but really wanted to start pet sitting as I love animals and love getting to know different breeds as they all have such interesting personality’s (I’ve always wanted to meet a cat that loves water)
“She was great! Dropped in to check on my dog last minute while i was out of town for the day, walked him, and took some of the cutest photos he’s had in years!”

About: Hello! My name is Lily! I hope I’ll be your new favorite pet sitter! I have experience with many different kinds of animals, though usually sit for dogs and cats. My family has owned dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, aquatic and terrestrial turtles, aquatic frogs, and fish. I am always happy to meet new kinds of creatures, though— as long as you can show me how to care for them, I’m excited to meet them! I’ve watched animals of all different ages and abilities, including elderly ones. I have previously handled emergency situations for absent pet parents. I am happy to administer medications, provided that you demonstrate or describe how the animal usually takes them. Happy to provide walks for dogs, cats, etc during housesitting stays! If your animal is very large and/or pulls extensively on the leash, please discuss with me what would be best for them at the meet and greet. I love hanging out with animals while I’m working— they’re such good office-mates! Of course I have to leave occasionally during overnight stays, but your pets are my priority, always! Whatever attention they need, I will give them, and I will always keep my eyes and ears open for any mischief happening! I like to go through your routine with you and then try to keep everything as close to normal for your pets as possible! They’ll already be missing you— they don’t need any more stress! Food and water bowls refilled on time, walks given regularly, and as many pets, kisses, and photoshoots as required!
“Colby was super kind & responsive, giving our cat all the love and cuddles she needed while we were gone. We really appreciated the detailed updates and pictures. Will definitely book again!”

About: Growing up I had a high energy Saint Bernard and I also work with horses! These have taught me how to be assertive but also gentle with all animals! I am a senior in college, and my classes are only Tuesday/Thursdays. The other 5 days a week I love to spend making new animal friends! When dropping in to hang out with your pet their water will always be refilled, food/treats/meds given on time, and will make sure that they get all the rubs and scratches. My first priority is their comfort!
About: I have experience with taking care of cats and dogs in my own home. I currently have 3 kitties in my house. My oldest kitty is 18 years old. I have experience taking care of other people's homes and animals when they take vacations and travel. They are always in good hands when they are left with me! I'm currently a SAHM and have lots of extra time to help you with taking care of your furry friends! I take care of my 3 kitties at home every day with lots of play time and snuggles. I treat your pet like I would treat my own! Lots of love, affection and playfulness! I love spoiling your pets like I spoil my own at home by giving them extra attention.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Vail
Brenda was excellent! She was very kind and took such great care of our babies. She always gave detailed updates and we loved seeing all the pictures, too! We will definitely be hiring Brenda to take care of them again in the future. Our pups really loved her 😊

If you’re looking for someone who truly cares about dogs and goes above and beyond, I wholeheartedly recommend Brianna. We had complete peace of mind knowing they were in such great hands. The communication was excellent, and every interaction was kind, professional, and thoughtful. We couldn’t be happier and will definitely be returning. Thank you for treating our dogs like family!
Jennifer does a wonderful job! Our dog had gotten a limp the night before and we had to leave early the next day but I felt very comfortable that Jen would keep us posted on things and she did. We really appreciate her care for Charlie. Will always recommend her. 😊

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Vail with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
