About: I have over ten years of experience with many different types of animals and I know a lot of different techniques to approaching animals that might be scared or more difficult to take care of. I am a college student back for summer break and I don’t have a job currently so I am available 24/7. I can work every day of the week and have access to transportation so I am available to drive to the animals at anytime. I can drive anywhere at any time and take animals to different places if needed. I will make sure they are well fed and watered as well as taken for walks or played with to keep them active and if they need any extra help I am more than willing to take those steps to ensure they get it.

“I’m so happy we found Maisie. I love that she lives close by and absolutely adores animals. I have two rambunctious Pitbulls and she handles them perfectly. Having her come to the house to let them in, give them treats and settle them down has made a huge difference this busy week. When I got home, they were relaxed and happy. I’m so relieved to know that I have back up.”

“Marissa did excellent with my cat who can be nervous and quite particular when it comes to strangers. She sent me photos and provided plenty of reassurance that my cat was doing well!”

“Fantastic care for our dog! Brianna went above and beyond for us when we went out of town over the holiday! She was very accommodating and kept us informed of evetything. We would definitely recommend her for anyone!”

“If I could give Baylee more than 5 stars, I would!! I don’t typically leave reviews for anything but she is amazing. I have two fur babies that are very … particular, and they absolutely LOVE Baylee. I can actually relax while I’m away on a trip! If you’re thinking about booking her, do it!!”

About: Hi! I’m a reliable, dog-loving sitter who treats every pup like family—while also keeping routines, safety, and comfort a top priority. I’ve been caring for dogs for several years and have experience with all ages and energy levels, from playful puppies to laid-back seniors. I understand that every dog is different, so I take time to learn your dog’s routine, preferences, and quirks to help them feel secure and relaxed while you’re away. I currently live with my two well-socialized dogs, who are calm, friendly, and used to having canine guests. Your dog will never be left alone or ignored—I’m attentive, patient, and happy to match their energy whether that means playtime, walks, or quiet companionship. I live in a house with a yard where dogs can safely play or relax. I’m also happy to follow any leash, feeding, or medication instructions exactly as requested. I offer flexible drop-off and pick-up times and provide regular updates so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your dog is in good hands. 🐾 I only care for dogs (no cats). 📩 Feel free to reach out with any questions—I’d love to meet you and your pup! Pet care fits into my routine easily-I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I can provide plenty of attention, playtime, and outdoor breaks. I can check in on your pup several times a day, or I’d be happy to care for them in my home. I also offer early morning and evening availability to accommodate pet parents with long work hours. I have two sweet Greyhounds to play with & keep your baby company. I love to cuddle on the couch or bed with the dogs. I’ll do whatever I can to make sure your pup is comfortable and safe.
“Amazing as always taking care of our babies while we were gone. The babies looked forward to her visit and it helped us not worry about them. She gave our buddy boy his medicine and lived on all the babies. Kept their litter water and food fresh. Thank you so much!”

“Seriously the best dog sitters we ever had! One of my dogs ended up with an upset stomach and puked/pooped pretty much all over the house and they brought their personal steam cleaner to clean the mess up! 10/10 would recommend!!!”

“Dru bailed me out by being able to meet with me 30 minutes after I contacted her for the meet and greet, and she showed up on time, did everything asked of her and played with Ju-Mie in the backyard for three straight days. She was extremely nice and left notes each day to let me know what time Ju-Mie had been out, whether or not she was able to play, and whether she had done #1 or #2. I would highly recommend Dru to other people looking for a pet sitter.”

About: I have two of my own dogs, both are rescue labs. I have been dog sitting for the past eight years for family and friends and I absolutely love doing it. I am a Veterinary Technician and a Certified Pharmacy Technician, so the medical background definitely gives my clients reassurance that I will provide the upmost care for all their animals. I am also a state/national/series champion horseback rider, where I acquired a lot of experience in caring for equine as well. Pet care fits perfectly into my weekly routine because I work from home so when I am dog sitting I can spend all my time with the animals and make sure they are cared for around the clock. I have two rescues at home. I make sure they are fed, walked, played with, and I even let them sleep with me at night on my bed if they want a comfortable place to sleep. My one lab has really bad allergies so I always make sure he takes his medication on time and do activities with him to help him with his anxiety as well.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Vail
Elizabeth took great care of our two cats while we had to leave town unexpectedly. She was able to stop in the day I reached out and start check-in's the following day. The cats were well cared for and did well with her. She also brought in our food package and put the items in the fridge.

If you’re looking for someone who truly cares about dogs and goes above and beyond, I wholeheartedly recommend Brianna. We had complete peace of mind knowing they were in such great hands. The communication was excellent, and every interaction was kind, professional, and thoughtful. We couldn’t be happier and will definitely be returning. Thank you for treating our dogs like family!
Kind, gentle, professional, an excellent caregiver! I would recommend Lorena S to anyone who needs to entrust their pets while on vacation. She kept my two kitties, happy, healthy and used to their daily routine and provided value added services which made my trip away more enjoyable. Excellent communications and reports!
Jennifer does a wonderful job! Our dog had gotten a limp the night before and we had to leave early the next day but I felt very comfortable that Jen would keep us posted on things and she did. We really appreciate her care for Charlie. Will always recommend her. 😊

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Vail. On Rover:
- 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
