“Brenda is a God send. She takes care of my precious fur baby Lacy as if she was her own. Lacy needs extra attention due to medical issues and Brenda ensures she has her meds in time aa well as walks around the acreage each drop in visit through the day. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a pet sitter for your family pet.”

“Maisie is so great, I really appreciate how communicative she is and her patience with Porcini. She takes the cutest daily pictures and is in touch for every drop in, even if there’s nothing unusual. Hoping to continue to book her for future trips!”

About: Hello, my name is Adriana. I've had dogs for a little over 10 years, along with 2 cats, and a few birds. Not all at the same time. If there is any more information about your pet that you believe I need to know I would love to be informed. If you need me to stay a little longer than planned, please let me know as soon as possible. If you would like to ask any questions please ask me through a message on here. Thank you for taking the time to check my profile. Pet care fits into my daily routine because I have a cat. So pet care is routine in my everyday life. Plus my family has pets I help take care of when I go visit. I care for pets in client's homes by following their care plan that has been provided by said client. Any additional information/ instructions will be followed to the best of my availability.
“Annette was sweet and took good care of my two kitties. She sent several pictures so I could see that the cats were doing fine. The house appeared to be in perfect shape when I arrived home.”

“Laura is wonderful!! We’ve had her come over for two separate trips now to come check on our dogs. Shes very patient, kind and I feel safe with them in her hands. Very glad to have found her☺️”

“Mary takes great care of Bridget on drop-in visits. She let her out in my backyard and watched to make sure Bridget did her business and gave her treats I left out for her. The photos she took reassured me that she spent time playing with her. I highly recommend Mary to take care of your pets.”

“Sydney was wonderful to meet up with and coordinate!! Definitely loves dogs and has lots of experience. Treated the dogs so sweetly and communicated exceptionally!”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember. You name the animal, I’ve lived with it and cared for it! From horses, to chickens, to birds, to cats, to dogs, I’ve done it all! Along with this, I have experience with animals small and large, so the size of your baby means absolutely nothing negative to me! I know it can be hard to find a sitter for a breed that may be a little more intimidating to some, but I believe that every animal deserves the same love. I have experience giving dogs pills, and I know how particular they can be about taking them. That’s nothing to worry about with me, I always make sure to find something specific to that dog that will get them to take their medicine! I also know how hard it can be to find a sitter for a rescue, especially one who is still timid. I’ve grown up with rescues, and know the level of patience and love they need to be shown. I am also able to provide support to senior dogs or dogs who need a little more help getting around, I’m able to make them comfortable and happy! I also have experience training puppies to do basic tricks, such as sit, speak, shake, and lay down. I would absolutely love to provide your baby with the care they deserve! I currently pet and house sit as my income. This means that my top priority is ensuring that your baby is taken care of at all times. I have an extremely open and flexible schedule, and am able to do check ins at almost whatever time you prefer. I know that when I’m entering your home, I’m also entering your pets home. It can be scary for them to have a stranger come to their safe space, but I provide patience and an upbeat personality to make them feel comfortable. I’m cautious, but also loving and wanting to do everything I can to make your pet happy! I respect both your space and your pets.
“Averi was absolutely amazing! She took wonderful care of my cats while I was away, and I came home to happy, relaxed pets and everything in great shape. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such caring and reliable hands. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter!”

“Marissa did excellent with my cat who can be nervous and quite particular when it comes to strangers. She sent me photos and provided plenty of reassurance that my cat was doing well!”

About: I grew up with dogs and had cats as pets as an adult. I love both dogs and cats (and all animals) but have the most experience with these two. I can do dog walks, grooming for both dogs and cats, drop ins for feeding, bathroom and any other needs, overnight stays and longer term stays if needed! Please note: I'm happy to travel for meet & greets and bookings, but for locations more than 15 miles from me will include a travel fee due to distance and fuel costs. Please message prior to booking if you are outside this range. Thanks for understanding - it helps me keep providing reliable care for clients. Same-day requests may also incur an additional fee depending on availability. *Lastly* if you see any dates on my calendar that looked blocked off (especially if they're highlighted in yellow) you can still reach out to see if you're close enough for me to do drop in visits! Dates highlighted in yellow just mean I have another booking but I'm still able to fit in drop in visits! 😊 I work remotely so I'm more flexible, esp if I'm doing any daytime or overnight stays. I work 7 am-4 pm M-F and can easily step away from my job as needed. I'm gentle, safe, reliable, intuitive and quick to pick up on how animals are feeling. I also take into consideration any special needs animals may have.
About: I worked as Veterinary Technician for 3 years and have been a huge animal lover my entire life. I will treat your babies like my own and that's a promise! I have a full time job so weekends would work best for me. Until summer around May 25th then I will have full time availability. I am very respectful of my surroundings and believe in leaving a place cleaner than when you found it. I will treat your home like my own.
“Rachel did a wonderful job taking care of my anxious pup! I was stress free while traveling knowing she was in good hands, would absolutely recommend Rachel to anyone looking for pet care.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life! I’ve had them since I was 9 years old and grew up caring for medium and small breeds. Right now I’m a proud dog mom to two adorable Morkies, so I understand the daily needs, routines, and affection that dogs crave. Even though I’m new to Rover, I’m a very responsible and attentive sitter who truly enjoys spending time with dogs. I offer patient, loving care with plenty of play, walks, and snuggles. Your pup will be treated like part of my own family while you’re away! I’m currently free most days and evenings while I wait to start school in July. Pet care fits easily into my routine right now, and I’m fully flexible for walks, drop-ins, or overnights. I care for pets exclusively in your home. I follow your exact instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any medications. I give your dog plenty of attention, affection, and mental stimulation while keeping your home clean, secure, and stress-free. Consistency and reliability are my top priorities.
“Kiahna did a great job visiting my kitty every day. She arrived at the time she said she would be there, proving her reliability. She fed and watered and even administered his medication. i am very pleased with her service and her caring nature. She truly loves animals. I will definitely call on her again! i highly recommend her!”

“Dru bailed me out by being able to meet with me 30 minutes after I contacted her for the meet and greet, and she showed up on time, did everything asked of her and played with Ju-Mie in the backyard for three straight days. She was extremely nice and left notes each day to let me know what time Ju-Mie had been out, whether or not she was able to play, and whether she had done #1 or #2. I would highly recommend Dru to other people looking for a pet sitter.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
