“Jessica was an amazing dog sitter! She was incredibly accommodating even though I dropped my dog Birdie off very last minute. She’s very attentive and clearly cares a lot about the dogs she watches. She kept me updated the whole time and sent lots of photos, which really gave me peace of mind. I highly recommend her to anyone in Tucson looking for a reliable and caring sitter. Thanks Jessica!”

“Tammy and Stephen do such a good job of caring for Zeke that I don't worry about him when he is with them. The daily report and photos are so reassuring that I am able to enjoy my time away without stress.”

“She was amazing! We had a meet & greet beforehand that went well and she sent multiple updates on our doggies. Talking to Christina feels like you're talking to a friend even though we only met twice lol. Would totally recommend!”

“Always fantastic experience booking with Ron. We are so grateful he was able to accommodate our schedule as well when we needed to add a couple extra days. Our Pedro loves him and his dogs!”

“This was Sequoia’s second super fun vacay with Daniel who cared for her as if she was his own. She had a blast with him and his dog and fit right in. Daniel’s communication was excellent and gave us complete confidence that Sequoia was in a loving and playful home away from home, which she loved. We recommend Daniel 100%!”

“Carina and Santiago were absolutely wonderful! I couldn’t have asked for better sitters for Tucker and Buster. From the moment we connected, they were communicative, kind, and clearly experienced with dogs. They made me feel completely at ease while I was away for almost two days. I could tell my pups were happy, well-loved, and in great hands the entire time. I’m so grateful for the care and attention they gave, it meant the world to me. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for sitters who truly go above and beyond. Thank you both so much!”

“Ashley has taken care of Ralphie many times now and he loves her so much! He is usually an anxious pup but he is thrilled when she comes to check on him and does well staying with her when we’re out of town. She takes great care of him!”

“Julie was fantastic! She took excellent care of Rosie, and sent daily pictures/updates to me while I was away to let me know how she was doing. Julie was very pleasant to work with and it's obvious that she loves dogs. I will definitely contact Julie again when I need a dog sitter!”

“David and Becki welcomed my golden retriever Hope into their home with no hesitation at all. It was clear within the first five minutes of our visit that she would be happy and well cared for with them. She looked great when I picked her up. I will definitely be taking her back.”

“Miriam was so great with my dog, Nova! She sent me lots of pictures every day which made me feel good that Nova was being well taken care of. I could tell Nova had a ton of fun and she didn’t want to leave! I would definitely have Miriam watch my dog again and would recommend her to others.”

“Cameron and Tyson are the best! My dogs had the greatest time staying with them and were completely at ease and comfortable in their home. Cameron and Tyson made sure to send me pictures and updates on my pups. We can’t recommend them enough and will certainly be back to stay in the future!”

“Sylvie is the BEST DOG SITTER. She is a true dog whisperer. We were very lucky to find her when we had to leave town unexpectedly for a funeral. Our 2 dogs haven't been away from our house since we moved to Tucson 2 years ago so that was an extra challenge for Sylvie with my senior 15.5 year-old and 9.5 year-old. She kept me updated about their stay with her and creatively worked with them to make them feel safe and sound. We haven't ever had a better experience boarding our dogs. Thank you Sylvie!”
“We can’t say enough good things about Vicky. I guess that’s the reason she has sooooo many return bookings. Our Peach became a VERY pampered princess while at Vicky’s. We actually were calling her Nana Vicky by the time we left. Daily pictures & texts were greatly appreciated. Highly recommend Vicky. Thanks Vicky!! Peach misses you. ❤️”

“Shawna and Ethan Roberts were excellent doggie sitters for Fiona. They even took her to the dog park to play with her other doggie friends. They go out of their way to please their doggie guests. And Fiona loves playing with Brutus and Jill as well. Thank you for caring for my precious pet.”

“Water and John were very good with communication and took care of my girl like she was one of their own. It was my first time leaving my newly adopted older dog at a sitters, and I knew she was going to have some ptsd and worries of abandonment, but my girl ended up relaxing and enjoying her time with Water and John. I appreciated the pictures and daily check ins. I’ll definitely be using them again!”

“Rebecca is A-MAZING! She and her family made my Bengal, Chip feel so very welcome into their home. I am extremely grateful to have chosen someone, who genuinely loves animals. She shared feedback and lots of pictures & videos. My peace of mind was maintained throughout my well deserved cruise. I unequivocally recommend Rebecca to care for your fur baby/babies.”

“Kat took excellent care of my little Reina. I received updates on her quite frequently. Reina was taken on several walks and appeared to get a long well with Kat’s small pups. Thank you for all the care!”

“Stella, our Great Dane had an amazing time. She was able to play with a dog her size while we are away. We will definitely use Taylor and her family to care for our pup in the future!”

“Sheila and David were wonderful with Plymouth while we were away last weekend. This was Plymouth's first visit with them, and I was happy that they had only their own two dogs in the house with him. Their house is set up to be very dog friendly and safe. Sheila was good about texting me periodic updates and pictures.”

Amazing dog sitter and lovely family. I have a very shy little dog and Lorena and her family were very patient with him. She sent lots of pictures and played with our dogs. She even gave one of my dogs a toy to bring home because he loved it so much! 10/10 Definitely recommend!

We had to find a sitter on very short notice, and Devin & Hailey were absolute lifesavers. They responded quickly, were flexible with our timing, and made the entire process stress-free from the start. Our dog Boomer settled in comfortably right away, which says a lot. We really appreciated the regular updates, photos, and the clear care and attention given throughout the stay. It gave us real peace of mind knowing our dog was in such great hands. We’re incredibly grateful for the last-minute accommodation and would not hesitate to book again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone dependable, responsive, and genuinely caring.

Lori was wonderful!! She took excellent care of Gwen, sent updates with pictures and made us feel comfortable right from the initial meet and greet! It was so nice to find someone who we can trust to take care of our girl while we are out of town. We will absolutely leave Gwen with Lori again in the future.

- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
