In addition to helping pet sit for friends and family, I’ve been lucky enough to take in four foster pups of my own. Unfortunately, I lost three of them in the past few years, which has only made me want to spend even more time with dogs. In lieu of getting more of my own, I decided that I want to be of service to the animals and their owners. I’ve always enjoyed the experience and I’m happy to help out other owners and pooches in need. Over the years, I've cared for dozens of dogs and have rescued four. My last of the four is Gizzy, a little Shitzu. I take him with me to work and out and about. He's my little buddy! I love having a connection with dogs, and Gizzy and I have definitely fused a very strong bond between us. He is very friendly and loves other pups, so your pooch will always have a friend around. Making sure that both you and your pup feel completely comfortable and well taken care of us my number one goal. I always make sure to treat you and your pup with the utmost respect. During a stay, I’ll make sure to keep in daily contact by way of text and picture messages so you can know exactly how your pup is getting along and what we’ve done that day. I’ll treat them as if they were my own! I’ll keep your dog on a schedule as close to what they’re used to as possible. We’ll play with their favorite toys. They can sleep with me and will get a lot of snuggles and pets from me. I don’t have any breed restrictions, but I always like to schedule a meet-and-greet for new clients. I always try to get to a dog’s level and make them feel as comfortable as possible with me by letting them smell my hand, finding their favorite scratch spot, using a soft, fun voice to talk to them, and letting them take their time to get used to me.

About: Friends and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bath, and play with their pets. I also have experience with small dogs and guinea pigs, so I know how to be gentle with your little babies! I attend college on Tuesdays and Thursdays until around 5pm. Other than those times I am able to be flexible and fulfill your pet caring needs. I treat my pets and clients' pets with respect and listen to their body language. I can tell when small dogs don't want to be picked up, and strive to be a safe person for them.

About: In simple words… I love animals! I have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life, I spent a significant amount of time on my grandparents farm, and my grandfather bred Clydesdale horses. Needless to say I’ve been around animals for many years. I have owned and successfully trained my dogs (I have owned small/medium/large breeds) so if training is something you are interested in looking into please feel free to discuss with me. This being said I am not a “professional” trainer so I would lean towards this type of service with puppy/younger dogs. My last dog Blue, a 98lb. Catahoula/Pit Mix had medical issues his whole life, needed to be on medication four times a day so I am very comfortable with administering medication, and quite empathetic to any/all needs. Blue passed a year ago so I welcome the temporary void with your sweet baby! I work from home so my schedule is very open to caring for your pet, and they will receive quiet a lot of attention/love/affection! Weekends are typically open as well, this is all dependent upon my schedule. I have a fenced in backyard, do not own any animals at the moment, and no kids. I am open to staying in your home depending upon a short meet and greet, and flexibility of my schedule. I have one stipulation about dogs staying in my home: With all due respect, if your animal has a strong oder or sheds a lot I do not wish to have them stay in my house. Also, I do not have a crate/kennel so you will need to provide if this is needed for your animal.

About: I am a lifelong animal lover with a deep appreciation for the joy and companionship pets bring. Although I don’t currently have any pets of my own due to rental restrictions, my heart is full of love for dogs. I previously cared for two wonderful cocker spaniels who lived long, happy lives and are now over the rainbow bridge. During their golden years, they developed special needs, including blindness and deafness. This experience gave me valuable skills in caring for senior dogs and administering medications, including eye drops. I’m comfortable and confident providing compassionate care to dogs with unique requirements. Offering my services on Rover allows me to share my love for animals and connect with your beloved pets. About: I have extensive experience caring for animals of all kinds, grooming professionally for several years, training working dogs and caring for my own companions. I am able to attend to needs ranging from puppies to seniors and everything in between! I am able to accommodate most dog schedules! They are out and playing during the day and can be fed on whatever schedule fits their lifestyle! I have a fenced in yard, dog door, and plenty of dogs in every shape and size for your pup to play with! I can crate as needed, potty as needed, and treats are always on deck.

About: We’ve been around dogs for many years and currently have two dogs of our own, so I understand how important it is to keep their routine consistent and help them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Since I’m home and have a flexible schedule, I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, supervision, playtime, and lots of attention throughout the day. I know how much peace of mind matters when leaving your pet with someone else, so I also make sure to keep pet parents updated with photos and communication during their stay. I’m a stay-at-home mom, and my husband also works from home, so there’s almost always someone here with the dogs. We take them on walks in the morning and again later in the afternoon or evening, and I’m available throughout the day for potty breaks in our side yard as needed. Dogs staying with us will get supervision, playtime, cuddles, and attention throughout the day. Your dog’s comfort and safety are really important to us. Our home is, pet-friendly, and fully supervised since I’m home most of the day and my husband also works from home. We have a fenced side yard for potty breaks and outdoor time, plus a nearby enclosed dog park for walks and play. If we're not able to supervise them and if needed, we can keep them safe and separated in a crate or dog gates. We try to follow each dog’s usual routine as closely as possible, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, crate time, medications, or just giving them space to relax. We also send photo updates throughout their stay so you can see how they’re doing and have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I have a 5 year old dog of my own--he is a mix of a lot of working breeds and high energy breeds, and therefore requires a lot of attention, stimulation, training, and exercise. He gets at least 2 hours of physical exercise a day, as well as another 1-2 hours of mental exercise (training, puzzles, games, etc). He is very well trained, taken care of, and behaved, and therefore this is something I can pass on to your precious pups as well. I know how to take care of rambunctious/high energy/needy/etc. pets, so no matter what needs your pup is, I can handle it. I also have additional experience with my childhood pets. When I was 14-18, we had two pups in the home that I was tasked with training and taking care of. I did the same for them as I do for my own current pup, and over the years I have learned and nearly perfected how to care for dogs. My friends and neighbors have always looked to me for pet sitting needs and have trusted me with their best friends. I am sure I will be a good fit to take care of yours too! I give my high energy dog 2 hours of activity time a day, not to mention enrichment, water, food, treats, and potty time outside. Your pet will be taken care of just like my own—something I revolve my whole schedule around! I never ever lay hands on any animal. Your dog will be taken care of in the best way, and will be treated just as special as they are. No need to worry about their safety, they will be in great hands with me. I am in an RV, so they can either roam freely in the Rv (couches or bed etc), but we have a good tether outside my dog loves to stay on, and we’re not in an RV park so they have plenty of room to play! I am outside with mine most of the day!

About: Hi! I'm Jessica, and I love dogs. I'm 48, and I have many years experience working with dogs (and horses), including bully and large breeds. I am a very patient person with a gentle but firm touch who understands animal behavior. I truly love to be outside and spending time with a furry friend makes it all the more enjoyable. I have a strong but fun and friendly personality that many dogs are quite comfortable with...so much that I was given a baseball cap as a gift that says, "Hold my drink...I gotta pet this dog!" I'm also a runner, so dogs who love to run are most welcome. I have 2 dogs of my own. I Pitbull/Cane Corso mix who's never met a stranger and thinks she's a person. I also have a Miniature Pinscher who lives to wear clothes and goes everywhere with me, riding around in his little dog purse.

About: I grew up with dogs and by 10 was their primary care giver. I later lived with 3 cats and was the primary care giver as well. I've had all sorts of pets ranging from hermit crabs, to hamsters, rabbits, birds, lizards, and fish. But I can't imagine my life without a dog. Please let me help you with your pet care needs. I am currently working from home with a very flexible schedule, and can easily work around your schedule and needs. I am available for one time visits or multiple. When visiting your pets, I will respect your home and wishes. I have no objections to security cameras. I am prepared to play, feed, and clean up after your pets as they need.

I also have nursed kittens before and cared for puppies I can discuss with you around my schedule to ensure your furbaby's happiness. I should have plenty of time to go over the best plan that works for you. I can make your furbaby feel safe in their home with snuggles and play with their toys. I am also willing to walk pets too.
