About: I had an English pointer who just recently passed away due to illness. I’m not ready for a new pet so I’d love to share my love with your fur baby I work full time from home. In addition to helping pet sit for friends and family, I’ve been lucky enough to take in four foster pups of my own. Unfortunately, I lost three of them in the past few years, which has only made me want to spend even more time with dogs. About: I've taken care of pets since I was 12. I've had dogs, cats, and goats for as long as I can remember. My neighbors, friends and family have trusted me to care for and walk their pets numerous times. Now I'm extending my compassion and experience to others looking for the same love for their pets. About: I have a 5 year old dog of my own--he is a mix of a lot of working breeds and high energy breeds, and therefore requires a lot of attention, stimulation, training, and exercise. He gets at least 2 hours of physical exercise a day, as well as another 1-2 hours of mental exercise (training, puzzles, games, etc). He is very well trained, taken care of, and behaved, and therefore this is something I can pass on to your precious pups as well. I know how to take care of rambunctious/high energy/needy/etc. pets, so no matter what needs your pup is, I can handle it. I also have additional experience with my childhood pets. When I was 14-18, we had two pups in the home that I was tasked with training and taking care of. I did the same for them as I do for my own current pup, and over the years I have learned and nearly perfected how to care for dogs. I give my high energy dog 2 hours of activity time a day, not to mention enrichment, water, food, treats, and potty time outside. About: In simple words… I love animals! I have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life, I spent a significant amount of time on my grandparents farm, and my grandfather bred Clydesdale horses. Needless to say I’ve been around animals for many years. I have owned and successfully trained my dogs (I have owned small/medium/large breeds) so if training is something you are interested in looking into please feel free to discuss with me. This being said I am not a “professional” trainer so I would lean towards this type of service with puppy/younger dogs. My last dog Blue, a 98lb. Catahoula/Pit Mix had medical issues his whole life, needed to be on medication four times a day so I am very comfortable with administering medication, and quite empathetic to any/all needs. Blue passed a year ago so I welcome the temporary void with your sweet baby! I work from home so my schedule is very open to caring for your pet, and they will receive quiet a lot of attention/love/affection! Weekends are typically open as well, this is all dependent upon my schedule. I have a fenced in backyard, do not own any animals at the moment, and no kids. I am open to staying in your home depending upon a short meet and greet, and flexibility of my schedule. I have one stipulation about dogs staying in my home: With all due respect, if your animal has a strong oder or sheds a lot I do not wish to have them stay in my house. Also, I do not have a crate/kennel so you will need to provide if this is needed for your animal.
About: Friends and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bath, and play with their pets. I also have experience with small dogs and guinea pigs, so I know how to be gentle with your little babies! I attend college on Tuesdays and Thursdays until around 5pm. Other than those times I am able to be flexible and fulfill your pet caring needs. I treat my pets and clients' pets with respect and listen to their body language. I can tell when small dogs don't want to be picked up, and strive to be a safe person for them.
About: I am a certified veterinary technician for over 13 years, specializing in emergency medicine, where For the past 8 years, I’ve been the Senior General Manager of pet daycare, boarding, training, and grooming facilities, overseeing operations, leading teams, and maintaining exceptional standards of care and safety. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, and I’m also CPR and pet first aid certified. My deep knowledge, hands on experience, and lifelong love for animals drive my commitment to providing the highest level of care and support for every pet I work with. I am able to be extremely flexible with my schedule to help meet your needs. :) I do work outside the home during the week, the hours can be adjusted and vary upon booking. I will follow all instructions and requests you have for your babies to a T. I will make sure they are loved and cared for just as if you were home with them.
About: One thing to know about me is, I absolutely love people! And Dogs are no. 1 on the list! (goats being a close second.) Just kidding! Dogs are not people BUT they sometimes think they are and their people love them like humans. Therefore, the best way to love people is to love their pets the way they do. 💖 ALL animals are amazing creatures and if it has fur or hair, I want to give it ALL the loves and squish-a-face!! 😂 I am single and no children so it’s just me for some quality one on one time with your dog. I have full life owner and helper experience from puppies to senior care and a host of special needs care in between for a variety of dogs. Friends and family can attest to this knowing I had my Mimzy Princess Puppy for 18 years before she passed last year. After 18 years though, I am enjoying a bit of freedom and am not quite ready for the full time commitment yet. So this is where Rover comes in! ***Please note: Although I can have a flexible schedule, I am unavailable for last minute bookings over Friday nights to Saturday nights. So even though my calendar says I’m available, unless you have made previous appointments with me that book through a weekend, I am unavailable to respond or sit during that time. Thank you for your understanding. 🙏🏼 I am happy to maintain daily routines and habits for those pup parents who desire structure but flexible enough that your pup will be excited to stay home. I have a pretty flexible schedule so making accommodations is easy for me. Let’s talk about your preferences. I’m confident we will find something that works well for us both. My home is small but comfortable and can easily accommodate up to 2 medium sized dogs. I live in a 5th wheel so no doggy door which means leashed potty breaks are necessary. I also don’t have much of a yard however, there is an available dog park onsite. Details for any boarding care can be further discussed in the “meet and greet” stage.
