“Olivia is the best! She is always flexible, communicative, and reliable. Olivia stayed longer than planned on a drop-in since my pup hadn’t seen her in a while and needed more time to warm up. I always know she’ll take the best care of her and is attentive to her needs!”

“Alana was great. We booked with relatively short notice, and she was a dream to work with. Our cats loved her, she was great at communicating and took fantastic care of them. We would definitely work with Alana again.”

“Kristi was wonderful! She even came to do a meet-and-greet with our little pup before the scheduled drop-in visits. Kristi payed close attention to every detail of the care instructions and communicated with me every step of the way. She was dependable and more importantly, very loving toward Apache. We will definitely rebook!”
“Thank you so much for taking care of Cosmo! Sophia was so fantastic, very communicative and knowledgeable about dog behavior and needs as our pup got comfortable with a new person.”

“I came back home to a very happy kitty!! I was so nervous to leave Loki for the first time, but Bridget sent me a ton of photos and made me feel at ease throughout my trip. She spent a lot of time playing with him, brushing him, and chilling at his favorite spot on the balcony. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!💗”

About: Hi! I’m Jenna, and I’d love to care for your little pup while you’re away. I have over 30 years of experience with small dogs. As the proud dog mom of a sweet Havanese named Bailey, I know our dogs aren’t “just pets”, they’re family. 🩵 I also know how much trust it takes to leave them in someone else’s care, which is why I treat every dog who stays with me with the same kindness, patience, and attention I’d want for my own. I intentionally care for small dogs because I believe they thrive in a calm, home environment. Rather than a busy, high-volume setting, my goal is to provide personalized attention so each pup feels safe, comfortable, and truly at home. I’ll follow your routine as closely as possible: from feeding schedules and walks to favorite toys and bedtime habits. My goal is to make their stay feel familiar and stress-free. You’ll receive regular photo and message updates because I know how comforting it is to see your best friend happy and well cared for. I can’t wait to meet you and your little one and provide a safe, loving home away from home. Every dog is unique, so I’ll follow your routine as closely as possible; from feeding schedules and walks to favorite toys, medications (if needed), and bedtime habits. My goal is to make your dog’s stay feel as familiar and stress-free as possible. Because I’m home full-time, your dog will rarely be left alone and will have plenty of companionship, supervision, and care throughout the day. I’ll also send regular photo and message updates so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy, safe, and well cared for. 🩵 I keep my bookings limited so every dog receives the time, attention, and care they deserve. I specialize exclusively in small dogs because I believe they thrive in a calm, safe environment where they can feel comfortable and relaxed. I keep boarding intentionally low-key so your pup has plenty of time for play, naps, cuddles (if they’re the cuddly type!), and simply being part of our family while you’re away. I have a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor time and share my home with Bailey, my sweet 10-year-old Havanese. Bailey has a gentle personality and enjoys the company of other small dogs. My home is quiet with no children, which helps create a calm environment for dogs who prefer a more peaceful setting.
“Repeat client and I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate the attentive and responsiveness. They provide timely and great updates and take photos of the walks. Highly recommend!”

“Heather was so great with our lab Cali. Cali is shy with new people and she was very patient with that and very attentive to Cali. She brought us much peace of mind with having her come check on Cali during the day. Definitely would use her again!”

About: 🐾 I have had and been around dogs since i was a kid so i have a huge love for them and other animals. I will treat your dog as if it is my own! I have a good knowledge of dogs as i have also worked at a dog grooming salon and a pet boarding place in the past. 💗 I have a full time job in office most days but when i am taking care of your dog i can work from home so that i am able to give them the fullest attention! This setup makes sure they feel loved and safe while enjoying outdoor time. 🏡I live in an apartment with a dog yard that is easily accessible and live very close to a dog park that i would be able to take your dog to, if comfortable. It is a pretty roomy apartment and i live by myself so there is plenty of space and i already go on walks daily myself so it will not be hard to integrate a dog into my daily activities.

“Elisa is amazing. One of our cats managed to get locked in a closet and Elisa found her on day 1 of a 4 day trip. Our cats usually hide with new visitors and if it wasn’t for Elisa’s attention to detail I don’t know what would have happened to our cat. I highly recommend Elisa to anyone looking for a fantastic pet sitter.”

“Katie is wonderful. Easy to communicate with and made leaving our old man at home easy knowing he was in capable hands. Photos and updates were great and correspondence over our worries about him were put to ease. Thank you for being great!!”

“Shannon has been a God send! She stepped in right away, in short notice and had been incredibly reliable and consistent for my sweet girl! Tanner is always so happy to see her, and behaves wonderfully when I get home after a long day. Shannon goes out of her way to clean up puppy messes, pay extra attention to any abnormal behaviors, and always keeps me updated with photos and checkins to let me know Tanner Girl is being well taken care of while I’m away. She spends extra time to play, shows up like clockwork and always picks up after Tanner’s play sessions. So incredibly fortunate to have come across her help, and will be relying on her for a while to come! Thank you Shannon!”

“Toni did a great job caring for our Bouvier while we were on vacation. She was flexible with us when our travel plans changed a bit last minute. Communications were timely and appreciated the photo updates. Really couldn’t ask for anything more…I’d highly recommend Toni! We plan to use her services again in the future.”

About: I’m a huge animal lover. I have a 3 year old son. He’s a Shih Tzu. While working and attending school, I wouldn’t mind some added puppy therapy. It goes such a long way to relieve stress. I’m a helicopter dog mom myself so rest assured I’m very proficient at communication and care for the wellbeing of you and your fur baby. I’m looking more at dog walking opportunities or even checking in while parents are away! On weekends, I’m available all day if not scheduled to work. On weekdays, I’m available after school around 1pm MST also if not scheduled to work. Work is part-time. Just please message me ahead of time to coordinate that works best for the both of us. My work schedule goes a month out. If you’d like me to walk them during the daytime, please provide shoes for them. In the summertime, shoes are necessary but during the winter not as much. For those who may not know or who aren’t from AZ, the hot asphalt and cement can severely burn their little paws. They’re very important! After every walk and drop off, I will give an overview of our walk. I send picture updates if requested just so you can see how happy they are on their walk!
“I was nervous about leaving our little guy nearly 2 weeks for the first time. Riley immediately took to Jessica at our meet and greet, which was great. She followed daily routines helping him to feel as normal as possible. I received pictures and updates on his progress at every visit. I’m so happy we found her and she will definitely be our go to for Riley. Thank you Jessica, you are Amazing!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Paradise Valley
We’ve had a few Rover people over the last couple years but my boy hasn’t bonded to anyone like he has Michelle. She does such a good job of reading him and what he needs each day instead of just going through the motions and checking boxes off a list. I highly recommend!!!

Nicole was wonderful! She was quick to respond, punctual, and made sure my puppy was well taken care of. I received many pictures + videos of them which made me so happy while I was at work. She made sure to go above and beyond by helping train my puppy and reinforcing the things we are teaching him. I would recommend her + will definitely be using again!

Tatum was amazing! She came over right on time, and Mac went straight up to her with no hesitation—which says a lot! I signed up last minute, and she was so accommodating. It was super convenient. Mac had gotten into some mud and was quite a mess before I had to leave, but Tatum took care of everything. She gave him a bath and even left the bathroom spotless. When I got home, Mac was clean, happy, and clearly loved the attention. Tatum is friendly, warm, and so easy to talk to—both with me and with Mac. I’ll definitely be booking her again! Thank you, Rover and Tatum, for such a great experience.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
