We did a pre meet up and when I went to drop him off on he actual weekend, he ran right up to the door excited. I got frequent updates on how he was doing and pick was flexible after a flight delay! Our dog is not food motivated and she would add a couple drops of broth to his bowl to make sure he got some food. I appreciate the extra attention to his care! I would love to meet your doggie family member as well. ~I have potty trained my miniature dachshund and a herding dog mix. ~I am comfortable giving medication to dogs. In the past I have had experience with a dog that will eat anything and a dog that if she even gets a wiff of medication she ran in the other room. It was challenging at first but I was able to create a routine with her and consistently give her medications. ~I have experience feeding and playing with cats and kittens. ~I have experience playing with and feeding hamsters, mice, and chinchillas I'm currently in school so I have a flexible schedule. I am available 7 days a week, from 6am to 10pm. Please let me know if you need services outside this time frame. I have experience using a crate when entering and leaving a home. I’m used to building my day around walks, feeding, playtime, and lots of love and attention. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to caring for other pups, whether that’s a quick check-in, a walk, or spending quality time with them throughout the day. Whether pets are staying in my home or I’m caring for them in their own home, I treat them like family. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and included in the daily routine. I follow each pet’s feeding, potty, medication, exercise, and bedtime routines closely and give plenty of attention, playtime, cuddles, and reassurance. I also understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, so I take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel as comfortable as possible. My two dogs are my life and my babies, so I know how important it is to have someone you can truly trust with your pets!
About: I worked for doggy daycare four years. I mainly worked with little to medium size dogs, but would help out with the big dogs from time to time. I was a shift lead. This means, I have experience in giving oral medication and injectables. Such as insulin for diabetics pets. Not only dogs, but cats as well! As well as making daycare/boarding groups based on age temperament and size. I’m well-versed in dog behavior. Knowing the difference between play and fight is important! At the doggy daycare I worked with a range different age of pets and breeds. This helped me become more adaptable to all of my clients needs. Of course I did the basics! Including regular, and deep cleaning of the yards, the kennels and the grooming room! I continue working with animals today as a technician assistant! I have been working in veterinary medicine for over a year now! I currently work overnight three days a week at emergency vet hospital! Also, in my own home, I’ve always had animals! I enjoy working with high, intelligent dog breed such a German Shepherd! I’ve owned three. As you can tell, I have a strong passion for animals! I’m a College student living with my boyfriend, taking 16 credits this semester! I work three day a week as a technician assistant at an emergency hospital! Tuesday, Thursday-Sunday, I will be available 9am-4pm, to do walks and potty breaks. Thursday and Friday my schedule is open for overnight! I have a fenced in yard for my two dogs. The dogs are usually out every 2 hour for 15 to 20 minutes of outside time. And five minute potty breaks we needed. If weather permits, my German shepherd goes on 30 minute walk daily. For mental and physical stimulation! When there is bad weather days, puzzles and interactive toys are a must! Both of my dogs went with me when I worked at Hound Dog pet hotel West. So they know how to be socially around other peoples dogs.For my cats I have two family cats, and one of my own. Each cat litter is cleaned out twice a week minimum. For all of my animals water is available 24/7. I will treat your pet as I would, my own. By making a routine that keeps him happy and healthy and showing them as much love as possible!
About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was 3, and caring for them has always come naturally to me! I’ve grown up with two Labs, a Lhasa Apso, and a Maltipoo, so I’m very comfortable with different breeds, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’ve taken my own dogs on hour-long walks and runs, so I’m more than happy to keep up with high-energy pups who need to burn off some energy. I’ve also been trusted to care for dogs on my own for entire weekends while their owners were out of town, including keeping up with their routines, exercise, feeding, and giving them plenty of attention. I’m extremely active, responsible, and comfortable handling dogs independently. Most importantly, I treat every dog like they’re my own and want every walk to be something they genuinely look forward to! Monday through Thursday, I’m available during my lunch break as well as anytime after 4:30 PM. On Fridays, I’m available between 1:00–4:00 PM, and I’m also available Saturday and Sunday mornings from 8:00–11:00 AM. I love having the flexibility to get outside during the day, so dog walking is a perfect fit for my routine! Your dog’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority! I’m a very caring, attentive, and responsible person, and I’ll treat every pup like they’re my own. During walks, I’ll make sure your dog is secure, comfortable, and getting plenty of positive attention while we’re out. I’ll also follow your instructions closely and make sure I understand your dog’s routine, personality, and any specific needs before heading out. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing your pup is in good hands and getting some fun, loving attention while you’re away!
