“Zach was so wonderful with our pup! He communicated well, sent us adorable videos of her, and gave her a ton of attention. We could tell how happy our dog was in his home and look forward to future visits.”

“We couldn't leave our lab Charlie in more caring hands. Charlie was very anxious the first day and William kept us informed of his behavior and went above and beyond to settle him down, which he did! We love taking Charlie to Williams when we have to leave town because we are confident that he receives loving and concerned care. Thanks to him and his staff!”

“Ash was so great with Emmy!! She kept us updated with photos and text about how and what her and Emmy were doing. Took her to parks to play! We couldn’t have asked for a better host for our doggy! Thanks again for everything Ash! You made our trip a lot better knowing our dog was in great hands!!”

It was such a relief being gone for a week and not having to worry about my dog. They even took him on a picnic! 10/10. Highly recommend.”

“Thomasine was a fantastic find as a sitter for our dog Molly. Molly clearly felt comfortable and happy there, as seen by the photos we’d receive while away. Thomasine has a great yard for the dogs to play and took Molly on a nice long all every morning- just what she needs. We will be back. Thank you!!”

“Kayla is by far the most nicest gentlest person I have ever met. She provided excellent care and my dog loved her. You will get pictures and updates while you animal is in her care and she takes time to get to know your animal. I highly recommend her!!”

“Briony did an amazing job watching my Chloe girl. She provided daily updates and pictures and I know she genuinely loved on my dog. She even had to do some unexpected clean up when my dog got sick. I would highly recommend and trust Briony with watching your dog. Thank you so much, Briony!!”

About: I connect quickly with pets, offering gentle, reliable care tailored to each personality. I provide walks, in-home sitting, and medication care with attention and compassion. I treat every furry friend like the best doggers ever, they deserve it all! I work from home, so I’m always around for walks, playtime, and extra cuddles. Your pets get plenty of love, attention, and care while you’re away! I find myself walking over 5 miles a day so being outdoors is top priority for me. I treat every home as if it were my own, keeping pets safe, comfortable, and happy. I follow all routines and instructions carefully, supervise pets at all times, and create a calm, secure environment. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or medications, I make sure pets feel loved and cared for while respecting the client’s space. I’m familiar with the dogs and parks in the area and can always assure a good time.
“Lacey and her beautiful family took such good care of my Kona girl! They have a big back yard for her to run around in and a house full of people to keep my energetic pup entertained. It’s always hard leaving your babies behind with a stranger but I felt very comfortable with Lacey 🤍”

“We have booked with Gabriela many times and she has always been amazing. In addition to being great with our dog, she has been very communicative, managed giving our dog pills, and overall very easy to work with. A few times we have had to amend our pick up times due to flight changes and she has always been gracious and accommodating. We would highly recommend her.”

“We had the best experience with Kris and her amazing family watching our dogs, Knight and Bodhi, over Christmas. We just moved to the area and were a little nervous leaving them, but Kris helped our pups feel safe, comfortable, and totally at ease, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Bodhi also ended up with a last-minute ear infection that required medication, and she took care of it without any hesitation, which we appreciated so much. Kris and her family were so loving, attentive, and communicative. We’re so grateful we found her!”

“Heather kept me updated with photos during Paco’s stay which was very much appreciated!! Everything went smoothly with Heather — beginning with a meet and greet to picking him up when we returned home. And Paco came back to us happy and tired which lets me know he had a fabulous time with Heather and her sweet dog, Zeke! I recommend Heather and would use her again in the future. Thank you!!!!”

About: We know leaving your dog behind can be stressful, so our goal is to make them feel like they’re on vacation too! We only host one family’s dog(s) at a time, so your pup will receive our full attention in a calm, loving home—never a crowded doggy daycare environment. We’re a family of four who genuinely loves dogs. Our 11-year-old son enjoys playing fetch, going for walks, and giving plenty of affection, while our 12-year-old daughter loves working on basic training and teaching fun tricks (with your approval, of course!). My husband, Justin, and I have always been dog lovers. After losing our beloved dog, Rev, this past February, our home has felt a little quieter. While we’re not quite ready to welcome another dog of our own, we’d love the opportunity to care for and spoil yours as if they were part of our family. I work from home, so your dog will have companionship throughout the day and won’t be left alone for long stretches. We also have a sweet senior cat, so we’re looking for dogs that are comfortable around cats or have lived with them before. Whether your pup loves playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply a quiet place to relax, we’ll tailor their stay to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved until you’re home again. I work from home so your pup will have company most of the day. When the kids get home from school you can expect a lot of loving and play time. We have a fenced yard, pool (no fence), and a crate we can offer if your dog prefers to be crated at night or if we leave periodically throughout the day

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for about 10 years now, and it’s genuinely something I love doing. Over the years, I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, ages, personalities, and energy levels—from shy little couch potatoes to big, high-energy dogs that are ready to go nonstop. I’m also certified and prepared in the event that an emergency ever comes up, because your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I’m based in Scottsdale, only about 10 minutes from the airport, which makes drop-offs and pick-ups especially convenient if you’re traveling. I know how stressful it can be to leave your dog with someone else, so my goal is to make the experience as easy and worry-free as possible for both you and your pup. Living in Arizona also means taking the heat seriously. I’m very mindful of temperatures throughout the day and keep a consistent potty schedule while adjusting walks and outdoor time so dogs are never exposed to unsafe heat. I always make sure they still get plenty of exercise, playtime, attention, and stimulation in a safe way. Friends, family, neighbors, and other pet owners have trusted me over the years with feeding, walking, playtime, potty breaks, check-ins, and overnight care. I’m patient with nervous or shy dogs, comfortable handling energetic dogs, and I pay close attention to each pet’s normal routine, personality, behavior, and any special instructions you give me. Most importantly, I want your dog to feel like they’re somewhere safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away—not just being “watched.” They’ll get plenty of attention, affection, and care, and I’ll do everything I can to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in dependable hands. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, and I keep my schedule flexible so I can give each dog the time and attention they deserve. I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and longer stays when needed. Being in Scottsdale, I also plan walks around the Arizona heat and prefer mornings or evenings during hotter months so your dog stays safe and comfortable. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. With about 10 years of experience caring for dogs, I’m comfortable following specific feeding schedules, walking routines, medications, crate instructions, and any special needs your pet may have. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of their space and make sure doors, gates, leashes, and food are handled carefully. I also pay close attention to Arizona temperatures, hydration, hot pavement, and each dog’s behavior so they stay safe, relaxed, and happy while in my care.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Paradise Valley
I can’t say enough wonderful things about the care my dogs received from Dante. From the very beginning, it was obvious that he is incredibly conscientious and genuinely attentive to each dog as an individual. Dante takes the time to understand their personalities, routines, and specific needs, rather than treating every dog the same. One of the things I appreciated most was how communicative Dante was throughout their stay. He regularly stayed in touch, sending videos, photos, and updates so I always knew how the pups were doing. It gave me such peace of mind knowing they were happy, comfortable, and being so well cared for. The environment itself is fantastic. The dogs have plenty of beautiful open land to run, explore, and romp around, while also having access to clean, comfortable, air conditioned indoor housing. It really gives them the best of both worlds, plenty of room to enjoy themselves and a comfortable place to relax and cool off. I also really appreciate Dante’s focus on healthy, quality nutrition. Organic and wholesome food options are clearly a priority, which is something I value tremendously when trusting someone with my dogs. My dogs absolutely loved their stay with Dante. They came home happy, healthy, in tip top shape, and ready to get right back into their normal routine, which to me says everything. They were clearly having such a great time that I’m pretty sure they would have been perfectly happy staying longer! Another huge convenience is that Dante offers pickup and drop off for the dogs, which makes the entire experience incredibly easy and stress free. If you’re looking for someone who is attentive, trustworthy, communicative, and truly cares about the well being of the dogs in his care, I would highly recommend Dante. I feel completely comfortable leaving my dogs with him and will absolutely be using him again!

My pups have stayed with Will and team 3 times and always come back happy and healthy. They always look happy in the pics and look like they have fun in the pool! Will makes you feel at ease with the initial meet and greet and I feel comfortable leaving my boys with them :-) thanks Will!

Chantell and Mike are wonderful! Not only do they take excellent care of my pup, but SEVERAL TIMES they have saved me in a pinch when I needed last-minute boarding due to work trips, etc. Their perfect rating is a true reflection of the amazing quality they provide. Would give 6 stars if I could.

Wonderful pet sitter. She took care of both my cat and dog at the same time. Both of my animals are shy and she knew exactly how to handle a rescue dog who needed time to warm up and a cat who needed a calm environment. She made sure my dog was exercised and sent plenty of updates. Would book again!

Accepted a last minute booking ahead of our trip. Handled both our dogs with care and sent pictures and videos often so we knew they were okay. It was amazing to have peace of mind during our trip. We were especially worried about our more nervous dog, but he warmed up so quickly to them and had a good time. It was our first time using Rover, it was a great experience. Would book with them again :)

This was our first boarding experience with Milo, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Milo looked so happy and comfortable throughout his stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. We received daily updates with photos and videos, and it was clear that he was being well cared for and getting lots of attention. We truly appreciated the communication and kindness. We would absolutely book with them again if they continue offering boarding services. Highly recommended!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
