“Kim was amazing! This was our first time leaving our 5 month old puppy somewhere and Kim did a great job with her! She sent us pictures and gave us an update on how she was doing during the day. Our puppy was so excited to go back the second day. We definitely recommend Kim to anyone looking for a dog sitter!”

“Shahla is awesome. She looked after our 8-month French bulldog puppy for the very first time, and everything went very well. She shared photos with us and clearly knows how to treat dogs. She has the knowkedge and experience, and our dog had a great time at her house with her dogs. We are very much looking forward using her service again.”

“Really awesome experience with them! My 9 month old dog has done both daycare and overnight boarding. My pup always has so much fun and comes back exhausted. They are super kind and genuinely care about the well being of your dog. Great communicators and just overall so grateful I found folks I can trust with my baby.”

“Katie was super great! She was able to help us with daycare even though it was a last minute request. She treated our dog Gus like her own. Took him on multiple walks and showered him with love and attention. Definitely will book with her again”

“Marina took great care of our puppy Boston for the day and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was communicative, attentive, and clearly very comfortable around dogs. Boston came home happy, tired, and well cared for — always a great sign. You can tell Marina genuinely enjoys spending time with the dogs she watches and gives them plenty of attention and activity. We really appreciated the peace of mind knowing Boston was in good hands. Would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend Marina to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.”

“We had an excellent day care experience with Krista. She was very responsive, reliable and clearly loves dogs. It seemed like the day was scheduled around our dog. Lots of walks and even a jog. Will definitely book with her again in the future!”
About: As a lifelong dog lover, I understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away by providing the same level of care and attention I would want for my own. I'm dependable, communicative, and detail oriented. I'll follow your pet's routine closely, whether that means feeding schedules, administering oral medications, long walks, playtime, or simply providing companionship and plenty of affection. I'll also send daily photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is happy and well cared for. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels and can adapt to puppies who need extra patience and consistency as well as senior dogs who require a gentler pace and additional attention. Safety is always my top priority, and I'll treat your furry friend with the utmost respect. I know trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I'm committed to earning that trust by providing reliable, loving, and attentive care every time. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I can make my own schedule which allows me to dedicate quality time to each pet. Whether it's early morning walks, midday potty breaks, playtime, evening walks, or overnight care, I can adapt to your pet's normal routine to help them feel comfortable while you're away. I believe consistency is important, so I make it a priority to give your pet plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and companionship. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and any special instructions so I can provide care that's as consistent as possible with what they're used to at home. When caring for pets in your home, I'll respect your space, keep your home clean and secure, and follow all feeding, walking, medication, and exercise instructions carefully. I'll make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure, avoid unsafe situations during walks, and never leave your pet unattended. I'm committed to clear communication and will send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your furry family member is safe, well cared for, and getting plenty of love and attention while you're away.
“Zach and family always take the best care of Barley when he’s there. I know he’ll get fresh air, walks and lots of snuggles! Appreciate knowing he’s in good hands.”

About: I’ve had a Yorkie named Cooper since I was young and he currently lives with my parents back in Cleveland. I love dogs so much and I believe you should take care of dogs like you do your kids! I work fully remote, so I will be at home and play with the dogs all day! I will show them love and be able to feed them and take them to the bathroom whenever they need it! I also have a dog park at my apartment and a park in walking distance! I will play or walk the dogs whenever they need it, I love to exercise and move around! They will never not be shown love!
About: I have had dogs since I was a little kid, and over the last 10 years taken care of dozens of my friend’s dogs for a quick walk or a week long stay. I recently lost my 10 year old Golden Retriever, and am missing that puppy time- so I’d love to help you out with yours. I’m lucky to work from home and set my own schedule, so I am able to be fairly flexible during the week for your pup. I have a fenced in back yard as well as a doggy door. So your dog will be safe and have the freedom to go in and out as they please (with your approval).
“Charinee was fantastic caretaker of our puppies, while we were visiting the area. Pups had fun playing with Stacie too. Highly recommend the service!!”

About: Hi! I’m Jenna, and I’d love to care for your little pup while you’re away. I have over 30 years of experience with small dogs. As the proud dog mom of a sweet Havanese named Bailey, I know our dogs aren’t “just pets”, they’re family. 🩵 I also know how much trust it takes to leave them in someone else’s care, which is why I treat every dog who stays with me with the same kindness, patience, and attention I’d want for my own. I intentionally care for small dogs because I believe they thrive in a calm, home environment. Rather than a busy, high-volume setting, my goal is to provide personalized attention so each pup feels safe, comfortable, and truly at home. I’ll follow your routine as closely as possible: from feeding schedules and walks to favorite toys and bedtime habits. My goal is to make their stay feel familiar and stress-free. You’ll receive regular photo and message updates because I know how comforting it is to see your best friend happy and well cared for. I can’t wait to meet you and your little one and provide a safe, loving home away from home. Every dog is unique, so I’ll follow your routine as closely as possible; from feeding schedules and walks to favorite toys, medications (if needed), and bedtime habits. My goal is to make your dog’s stay feel as familiar and stress-free as possible. Because I’m home full-time, your dog will rarely be left alone and will have plenty of companionship, supervision, and care throughout the day. I’ll also send regular photo and message updates so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy, safe, and well cared for. 🩵 I keep my bookings limited so every dog receives the time, attention, and care they deserve. I specialize exclusively in small dogs because I believe they thrive in a calm, safe environment where they can feel comfortable and relaxed. I keep boarding intentionally low-key so your pup has plenty of time for play, naps, cuddles (if they’re the cuddly type!), and simply being part of our family while you’re away. I have a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor time and share my home with Bailey, my sweet 10-year-old Havanese. Bailey has a gentle personality and enjoys the company of other small dogs. My home is quiet with no children, which helps create a calm environment for dogs who prefer a more peaceful setting.

About: I have many years of experience caring for pets of family and friends, providing reliable and attentive support. In addition, I have my own senior dog, so I am very familiar with the extra care, patience, and attention older pets may require. I am comfortable administering medications and following specific care routines to ensure each pet's health and well-being. I treat every animal as if they were my own, with a focus on safety, comfort, and plenty of love and cuddles. I am at home full time with my pup and kids. The only time I will need to be out of the house is during pick up/drop off for school. I am available weekdays and weekends. I have a fenced in yard with a spacious grass area, and a large shaded patio in case they want to be outside, but stay a bit cooler. If your fur baby loves the water, I do have a small splash pool as well as a fenced in pool that they can enjoy under supervision.
“Five stars. Katherine did a fantastic job watching my rescue dog, Qi. I am impressed with Katherine’s professionalism and sensitivity. This was my first time leaving Qi with a sitter. I was nervous at first, but Katherine’s responsiveness put me at ease. Qi came home happy, and actually looked for her after drop off. Thank you for the wonderful service. I will trust my dog with you again!”

“Sara was so sweet and calm personality, my dog looked so happy when I pick him up. She was very responsive and sent pictures of Byron and a video, I recommend Sara for any future services. We definitely will.”

About: Since I can remember, I’ve always had an affinity for animals (specifically dogs). I grew up with a wiener dog & Australian Shepard, where I would also spend time caring for the neighbors dogs while they were away. Over the years I have cared for my own pups back home (Daisy Mae & Nugget Blue), along with nannying 2 girls & 4 large dogs. When I lived in Austin, I helped care for one of my favorite ever dogs (Apollo). Currently, I am unemployed looking for remote work. My schedule is highly flexible with the exception of my travels. With good communication, coordinating my calendar for your pet should be a breeze! I will treat your pet as if it were mine. I love a good cuddle & know how important playtime is (and also pottying outside).
About: Hi, we’re Zach and Maddie! We are true dog lovers! We both grew up with dogs our whole lives and have cared for many others through friends, family, and other clients. That means we’re comfortable with a wide variety of breeds, sizes, ages, personalities, and of course, their favorite scratch spots. We genuinely love being around dogs and miss having them in our daily lives—which is the reason we started Rover! Since we both live together and work from home, your dog gets double the care, attention, and supervision throughout the day—basically 2-for-1 pet care! This also means your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone during their stay. We live in a spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bath home with a backyard in Scottsdale 85251. We provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, cuddles, and care based on your dog’s routine. We’re reliable, communicative, and always send photos and updates. We’ll treat your pet like our own and make sure they feel right at home! :) We both work from home, so at any given time there’s almost always at least one of us home. Your dog will get plenty of attention and will rarely, if ever, be left alone! All dogs are welcome to hang out wherever they like—whether that’s on the couch, sleeping with us in bed, or anywhere else they feel comfortable! We also have a spacious fenced backyard with a grass area. We keep our home nice and cool, especially during the summer, so you never have to worry about your dog overheating.
About: Hi There! We have a 3 year old daughter and a 3 years old golden doodle. I’d love to have your dog over for day care or overnights while you travel. I work from home, we have a nice little yard and I am a dog person through and through. I had a dog for 14 yrs that passed in 2020 who was a shelter rescue with fear aggression. I learned a lot in that lifetime about reading a dogs body language and anticipating their needs. My doodle is extremely friendly and loves other dogs. I will need to be pretty restrictive about dog temperament for pups that stay with us bc of my toddler; I can only watch dogs that are known to be good with small children. I understand this is very limiting. I’m doing this more for the love of dogs than as a job. I appreciate your understanding if this just isn’t a fit due to our needs. I have experience training puppies and caring for seniors. I work from home and take my guy out for a walk most afternoons. I am mostly available. I am extremely reliable, if I commit to watching your pup, I will not let you down. We have a 3yr old golden doodle and a 3yr old human toddler. We have a secure fenced yard with no pool. I am home 90% of the time : )

We were so pleased to find Krista to watch our boy, Sedona. She took excellent care of him and kept us consistently updated during their time together. Her communication—before, during, and after—was outstanding and gave us great peace of mind. We would highly recommend her and look forward to connecting with her again when we’re back in the area.

My husband and I booked Lorinda for day care for our Cairn terrier, Sophie. Sophie can suffer from separation anxiety, but she was very comfortable with Lorinda and really enjoyed her stay. Lorinda was very caring and knowledgeable. We would book with Lorinda again.

Avery was awesome! Very friendly and loves the dogs! This was the first time we left pups with someone other than family. Avery sent regular updates and photos. The pups loved her! Thank you again! Definitely recommend Avery to watch your furry friends. When we pass through Phoenix again, will contact Avery again!!

Paige is such a wonderful pup host! She was very welcoming, her and Rocky made my pup feel at home while I was at work. She was very communicative about my pup, she took lots of pictures which eased any worries I had about him throughout the day. I hate being away from my dog and knowing he’s is good hands makes it easier.

Lee is a truly amazing dog sitter. Her place is absolutely spotless, but stashed away is a treasure trove of amazing dog toys!! She was so kind to us and the dogs. You can tell she really enjoys all of her clients and getting to know them. And she sent plenty of pictures and updates!!! We felt very confident that the dogs were safe and having a great time. I am so glad we found her to watch our babies.❤️

Shahla was absolutely wonderful with my dogs for Doggy Day Care! She was incredibly flexible with scheduling, highly professional, and kept me updated throughout the day with great communication. I could tell my dogs were happy, well-cared-for, and comfortable in her hands. I truly appreciate her reliability and the peace of mind she provided. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
