Definitely would recommend!!! My Daisy is very attached to me and has never been in someone else's care. The 2nd day when she got out of car she ran up to the door and couldn’t wait to dart in not even looking back at me. I got several updates & photos throughout the day. Will be booking with Christian & Hana again!

I just loved Alex from the moment I met her! I could tell right away that she is who I would leave my dog with. She took excellent care of my dog and was always quick with responding. She was so good to send me pictures of my Bella during the day keeping me updated on how she was doing. Thank you Charlie and Chandra for being so kind and patient with Bella!! I highly recommend Alex.

About: From daily walks and playtime to feeding, grooming, and giving plenty of affection, I understand the responsibility and patience it takes to keep pets happy and healthy. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I’ll give your dog the same love, attention, and care that I give my own. Whether it’s keeping up with energetic pups or making sure older dogs are comfortable and cared for, I’m here to help your pet feel safe and loved while you’re away. I work a regular 8–4 schedule, which leaves my evenings and nights free for pet care. That makes me a great fit for evening walks, playtime, feeding, or even overnight sitting. Since I’m home after work, I can give your pet plenty of attention, exercise, and care when they need it most. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide care in my gated home with a big yard, giving dogs plenty of secure space to play, explore, and relax. I maintain a clean, calm environment and always supervise pets to ensure they’re happy and safe. You can trust that your furry friend will feel right at home while in my care.

About: As a devoted pet parent for many years, I recently said goodbye to my cherished 16-year-old Terrier Pitbull mix, Maple. While I heal from this loss, I find comfort and purpose in sharing my love with other pets, knowing firsthand how precious these family members are to their owners. My home recently welcomed a sweet, 2.5-year-old, 45 lbs, female Husky Shepherd mix. She is a fear dog who is currently learning to trust the world, and she absolutely thrives being around confident, friendly dogs of all sizes. If your dog is a stable, well-socialized companion, they would be an ideal guest! Boarding with me provides your furry friend with a great playmate, and your dog’s confident presence will do a huge service by helping my foster learn positive social cues and build trust. I require a meet and greet prior to booking to ensure that you and your pet are comfortable. I understand that every pet is unique, and I take pride in creating individualized care plans that honor each animal’s personality, needs, and routine. My natural affinity with animals stems from my kind yet assertive approach, which helps pets feel secure and comfortable in my care. My goal is simple: to provide the same level of love, attention, and care that I would want for my own pet. I believe quality pet care should be accessible and affordable, and I work closely with each family to ensure both pets and owners feel completely comfortable with our arrangement. When you choose me as your pet sitter, you’re not just hiring a service – you’re welcoming someone who genuinely understands the irreplaceable role pets play in our lives and who will treat your furry family member with the love and respect they deserve.

About: I'm from Costa Rica, but I've been in AZ for 10 years now. I've had dogs pretty much my whole life. Now I live in Tempe near the mall, and there's a park right by my apartment. My job's flexible, so I can give whatever care is needed. I love all breeds. I work from home for Bank of America, so I get off around 3 or 4, depending on daylight savings. I've got a play area in the living room with pee pads and toys for the pets, and I'll make sure to walk them when it's cooler in the morning and evening. About: Hi, we’re Collette and Lyndon! We’re a husband-and-wife duo who genuinely love being around animals. We’ve both grown up with pets and have spent years caring for them—so it just feels second nature. We’re trained in pet CPR and first aid, and both work from home so we spend lots of time with your pet! We’re also just a few minutes from the Phoenix airport, which makes drop-offs super easy if you’re traveling. Heading out of town? You can swing by on your way to your flight, and know your pet is in great hands while you’re away. We live a healthy and active lifestyle and work remotely, therefore most of our time is available for caring for your pets. Our schedule is flexible, including weekends & some holidays. Schedule a meet and greet at your home/park, looking forward to meeting your furry friend! When caring for pets, whether in our own home or a client's home, we prioritize creating a safe, nurturing environment where they feel comfortable and loved. In our home, we ensure that pets have designated spaces to cater to their needs, whether it's cozy bedding, interactive toys, or access to secure outdoor areas for exercise and play. When caring for pets in a client's home, we maintain routines and environments that mimic their usual surroundings as closely as possible. In addition to basic needs, our training in CPR and first aid for pets ensures that we’re prepared to handle any medical emergencies, providing regular updates to pet owners and addressing any concerns promptly.

About: I have a 9 year old French bulldog that I’ve had since he was a puppy. He’s a very needy dog and so I’m used to giving a lot of attention, walks, medicines, special diets etc… I am working from home just a couple hours a day, and those hours are flexible. I have a lot of time to care for dogs that need a lot of attention. I have a large fenced in backyard with real grass. My French bulldog is very chill and calm and loves other dogs. I take him on multiple walks a day. I also have a dog stroller to take elderly dogs on walks if needed. Dogs are allowed on the furniture, and I have dogs stairs and ramps for the furniture.

Mia had a lovely day with John, Donna, and Leroy. We found ourselves in a terrible pinch when the previously arranged care situation for Mia fell through at the last minute. We so appreciate the last-minute willingness to help us out! Mia had a wonderful time playing with Leroy. Communication with John and Donna was great - including photos and a video! Mia slept just like a baby after her exciting day with Leroy. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our fur baby!

As of August 2026, there are 2,566 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Wonder Rift. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Wonder Rift commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,566 sitters in Wonder Rift, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
