“I am so thankful that we discovered Julia. Cagney, my terrier type pup, is 17 years old. He doesn't see well, is pretty deaf, and somewhat skittish. He is also a very picky eater. Julia kept Cagney for 18 days while I was in Japan. I was very nervous as the only person who had ever kept him prior was his previous owner - at the last moment she had a situation that prevented her from taking care of him. Thus I discovered Rover and could not be happier. Julia was terrific about providing updates and photos. I don't think I could have found a more compassionate individual to take care of my senior dog. She was patient and affectionate to Cagney. About: I have grown up with dogs since I was a baby and currently have a Doberman Pinscher and mini Dachshund with my partner. At my family home we have 2 Australian Shepherds and 1 Chocolate Lab. I have cared for many dogs from weenies to Great Danes. I often volunteer for dog and cat shelters/rescues with my sorority and soccer team in college where I take them for walks, clean up after them, and play with them. I work a regular 8–4 schedule, which leaves my evenings and nights free for pet care. That makes me a great fit for evening walks, playtime, feeding, or even overnight sitting. Since I’m home after work, I can give your pet plenty of attention, exercise, and care when they need it most. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide care in my gated home with a big yard, giving dogs plenty of secure space to play, explore, and relax. I maintain a clean, calm environment and always supervise pets to ensure they’re happy and safe. You can trust that your furry friend will feel right at home while in my care.
About: I have hands-on experience caring for a wide range of dogs, including sick, reactive, and high-energy dogs, as well as both small and large breeds. I’m comfortable managing different temperaments and situations calmly and consistently. While I’m not a certified trainer, I’ve successfully trained my own dogs and have received compliments on their behavior and structure. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine right now. I’ve structured my schedule to be fully available and flexible, so I can prioritize each pet’s needs — whether that’s consistent feeding times, walks, or just spending quality time with them. I’m very organized by nature, so I make sure nothing gets missed and routines stay on track. My goal is to make things feel normal for your pet while you’re away. Whenever possible, I like to care for pets in their own home so they can stick to their routine and environment. I’m very comfortable working in other people’s homes and treat them with a lot of respect — doors locked, things kept clean, and everything left the way it was. If pets stay with me, I have a fully fenced yard and a dog door, so they have safe access outside while still being monitored.
