“I am so thankful that we discovered Julia. Cagney, my terrier type pup, is 17 years old. He doesn't see well, is pretty deaf, and somewhat skittish. He is also a very picky eater. Julia kept Cagney for 18 days while I was in Japan. I was very nervous as the only person who had ever kept him prior was his previous owner - at the last moment she had a situation that prevented her from taking care of him. Thus I discovered Rover and could not be happier. Julia was terrific about providing updates and photos. I don't think I could have found a more compassionate individual to take care of my senior dog. She was patient and affectionate to Cagney. Julia's house is incredibly clean, she has a wonderful backyard that is perfect for the pups. I was happy there were no steps as it made it easy for an old dog to exit and enter. About: I have a 9 year old French bulldog that I’ve had since he was a puppy. He’s a very needy dog and so I’m used to giving a lot of attention, walks, medicines, special diets etc… I am working from home just a couple hours a day, and those hours are flexible. I have a lot of time to care for dogs that need a lot of attention. I have a large fenced in backyard with real grass. My French bulldog is very chill and calm and loves other dogs. I take him on multiple walks a day. I also have a dog stroller to take elderly dogs on walks if needed. Dogs are allowed on the furniture, and I have dogs stairs and ramps for the furniture.

As a graduate student, I have a consistent schedule that allows me to provide reliable morning and evening visits throughout the week. My visits include feeding, walks or playtime, potty breaks, medication if needed, and plenty of love and attention. I may also be available for overnight stays on select weekends. I always prioritize keeping pets on their normal routine and providing dependable care you can count on. Due to my years of experience, I am able to provide your dog(s) with the attention and care that they require. Whether it be crate training, water & shade on walks, or play!
About: I have hands-on experience caring for a wide range of dogs, including sick, reactive, and high-energy dogs, as well as both small and large breeds. I’m comfortable managing different temperaments and situations calmly and consistently. While I’m not a certified trainer, I’ve successfully trained my own dogs and have received compliments on their behavior and structure. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine right now. I’ve structured my schedule to be fully available and flexible, so I can prioritize each pet’s needs — whether that’s consistent feeding times, walks, or just spending quality time with them. I’m very organized by nature, so I make sure nothing gets missed and routines stay on track. My goal is to make things feel normal for your pet while you’re away. Whenever possible, I like to care for pets in their own home so they can stick to their routine and environment. I’m very comfortable working in other people’s homes and treat them with a lot of respect — doors locked, things kept clean, and everything left the way it was. If pets stay with me, I have a fully fenced yard and a dog door, so they have safe access outside while still being monitored.

About: I have always loved dogs since growing up on a farm and have had at least two of my own for the past 30 years. We recently lost our 12 year old lab to cancer and our 16year old mix to old age, so I have lots of time and love to devote to your dogs. I work from home a lot and love having dogs around to keep me company. At our house dogs are family and I'm ok with them getting on the furniture or in bed with us. I am experienced with dogs of all sizes. We have a doggie door and the dogs have access to a fenced yard. . I work part time Tuesday thru Thursday but am usually home by 3 pm, and my job is flexible so I can be home those days if needed I do not currently have any dogs of my own. I have a fenced yard and no pool. I also have a dog door for medium/tall size dogs
About: I’ve been around dogs and cats since I was born! We have never had less than 5 pets in the house. I grew up dog and cat sitting and am comfortable dealing with challenging pets. I have been a walker on here for over a year now and love meeting your sweet pets. I am currently attending naturopathic medical school in Tempe. I have early morning availability as well as sporadically through the afternoons and evenings. I should be able to work around just about any schedule. I am also a slow but passionate runner and am happy to include runs as well :) I have a lot of experience dealing with difficult pets. My own heeler, Harly gets her energy out faster because of our bike rides we take every morning. I can even take my bike to your area too if they like bike rides.
