Aidaly has been my lifesaver! My nephew moved back to Texas with very short notice and thankfully she was available starting the Sunday before Memorial Day. It took Ziggy 1 day to warm up to her and now he greets her at the door. I appreciate the care and attention she gives my little guy.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats since I was born! We have never had less than 5 pets in the house. I grew up dog and cat sitting and am comfortable dealing with challenging pets. I have been a walker on here for over a year now and love meeting your sweet pets. I am currently attending naturopathic medical school in Tempe. I have early morning availability as well as sporadically through the afternoons and evenings. I should be able to work around just about any schedule. I am also a slow but passionate runner and am happy to include runs as well :) I have a lot of experience dealing with difficult pets. I can handle big and loud dogs, crazy chihuahuas, temperamental cats, and more. I grew up pet sitting and dog walking and am able to appreciate each and every pet for who they are.

My dog isn’t the easiest to get out the first try because he is so scared with new people. Daniel got him out and stuck with it which I’m so thankful! I’ll continue to ask for his help when I need it.

Kayla is great! Conscientious about the dogs, reliable and a caring person overall. Trusted her with our dogs without hesitation. Unfortunately she moved out of our area but if she didn't we would be regular clients.

About: My kiddo and I will happily provide lots of playtime, including walks and socializing, for your loved one. We both have experience with multiple breeds and are always looking to learn about the preferences and habits of those that are new to us. My kid loves to jog, dance, and tumble with the pups, while I'm more of the snuggling type. We both love long walks and visiting with friends at the dog park. If your sweetie prefers to play without children, I am available solo as well. Whatever your needs, my little family and I are happy to tailor our care to you and yours. You can rest easy knowing we will share our love and tons of fun with your family's best friend!

About: As a devoted pet parent for many years, I recently said goodbye to my cherished 16-year-old Terrier Pitbull mix, Maple. While I heal from this loss, I find comfort and purpose in sharing my love with other pets, knowing firsthand how precious these family members are to their owners. My home recently welcomed a sweet, 2.5-year-old, 45 lbs, female Husky Shepherd mix. She is a fear dog who is currently learning to trust the world, and she absolutely thrives being around confident, friendly dogs of all sizes. If your dog is a stable, well-socialized companion, they would be an ideal guest! Boarding with me provides your furry friend with a great playmate, and your dog’s confident presence will do a huge service by helping my foster learn positive social cues and build trust. I require a meet and greet prior to booking to ensure that you and your pet are comfortable. I understand that every pet is unique, and I take pride in creating individualized care plans that honor each animal’s personality, needs, and routine. My natural affinity with animals stems from my kind yet assertive approach, which helps pets feel secure and comfortable in my care. My goal is simple: to provide the same level of love, attention, and care that I would want for my own pet. I believe quality pet care should be accessible and affordable, and I work closely with each family to ensure both pets and owners feel completely comfortable with our arrangement. When you choose me as your pet sitter, you’re not just hiring a service – you’re welcoming someone who genuinely understands the irreplaceable role pets play in our lives and who will treat your furry family member with the love and respect they deserve.

About: I have always loved dogs since growing up on a farm and have had at least two of my own for the past 30 years. We recently lost our 12 year old lab to cancer and our 16year old mix to old age, so I have lots of time and love to devote to your dogs. I work from home a lot and love having dogs around to keep me company. At our house dogs are family and I'm ok with them getting on the furniture or in bed with us. I am experienced with dogs of all sizes. We have a doggie door and the dogs have access to a fenced yard. . I work part time Tuesday thru Thursday but am usually home by 3 pm, and my job is flexible so I can be home those days if needed I do not currently have any dogs of my own. I have a fenced yard and no pool. I also have a dog door for medium/tall size dogs

About: Hello!! I’ve watched dogs ranging from small to large, as well as a variety of breeds, for the last 12 years. I’ve done everything home visits/drop ins, overnight sitting, dog boarding and dog walking. I am an occupational therapist, as well as the director of therapies for the clinic I work at! I have a flexible schedule, so I am more than likely able to cater to your pets needs! I would love to walk/run with your dog, play with them, care for he/she as if they were my own and give you the piece of mind that they are safe while you’re not around! I can guarantee they would be in good hands with me. I have had dogs my whole life and I would most definitely consider myself a dog person.🥰 My husband, Nathan, also has extensive experience with owning pets, as well as dog-sitting! We have three fur babies of our own, so we are no-doubt dog lovers. I can’t wait to share my love with your fur baby! I have a flexible schedule and can pop in during the day, if needed. Otherwise, I can be available in the morning and evenings! Weekends are usually always free. In regards to your home, I follow any instructions and guidelines you leave me, as well as using my personal judgement when necessary. When I am around, I always keep an eye on your fur baby to ensure their safety!

About: Your pets will love me because of my caring for any pet like it's my own! I have a good understanding of dogs, cats, fish, birds, and reptiles. My own heeler, Harly gets her energy out faster because of our bike rides we take every morning. I can even take my bike to your area too if they like bike rides. I also have three other dogs with my girlfriend at our home. We both love pets and have had all shorts during our time together. I graduated from NMSU in Las Cruces, NM with a bachelor's in Film but just moved out to Phoenix 8 months ago for a full time job. I work Monday-Thursday, so looking to fill in some time Fri-Sun. Top care here by Alex! Hope to meet your pet soon! Thank you! I work Monday through Thursday right now, so I think this would be a perfect opportunity for me to fit in some hours for your pet Friday though Sunday. I care for your pet, any pet, my pet all the same. They all have needs and emotions like humans. So I treat pets with respect to also gain it back. Whether they are shy, excited, or scared.

About: I have lived with animals since I was a young child. Growing up we often rescued young animals we found near our home. Currently I have one cat and 2 dogs which my husband and I treat like our own children. My family and friends know they can always rely on me to watch their pets and keep them safe and happy! As a retired nurse I have a considerate, compassionate nature. My 27 years as a nurse taught me the flexibilty and dedication that makes me an ideal pet sitter. I presently work for myself as an artist. My hours can adapt to the service needs of your animals. I work part time and have plenty of flexibility for your pets needs. I am always willing to follow any special instructions since I have many years of experience caring for my own pets. I treat your pets environment with the care and consideration that will keep them safe and comfortable. I understand they may be anxious meeting a new caretaker so I would be extra patient as they get to know me.

Krista did a feat job befriending our sometimes reluctant dog. She showed up, got him ready for the walk, out the door, and gave him some extra attention while we were out of town and my mom was needing help keeping our dog attended to. He’s a younger, energetic dog and she did a great job dealing with his antics (sometimes thinks people are dogs who want to play, wrestle and be greeted with 75 lb puppy love). Astro made a new friend and we were able to take a trip. Win, win!

Wow what do I say about Stephanie! She is so kind and amazing. She kept me informed about how the pups did on their walks. She would fill up their water bowls. I always knew they were loved and being cared while I was gone. I have one corky dog that she was so patient with. So thankful to have found Stephanie a true dog lover!

We have been using Garrett services for a year now and it’s always such a lovely experience! The boys love him and he takes good care of them. We have used his boarding services, and he kept us updated about the boys regularly and gave the boys their medication if they were on it. We have also used his dog walking services, he has always been on time, and informed us if any thing arises. I will definitely book and recommend Garrett because he loves taking care of dogs and his background with working with dogs. Thank you so much for taking care of Aiko and Sailor!

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Wonder Rift. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
