“Nicole was fantastic with Noggin who can be a pain in the ass. She was also great at communicating and asking questions as necessary. Highly recommend booking her.”

“I had an amazing experience with Kenzie. She was incredibly kind and compassionate toward my puppy, Cairo. From the start Kenzie went above and beyond to make Cairo feel comfortable and cared for. I appreciated the constant updates and pictures, which showed how happy and relaxed my pup was. It’s such a relief to know Cairo was in such loving hands. I highly recommend Kenzie to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!”

“Ashlyn was great! She spent a week taking my puppy out, twice a day. It was my first time away from my Lucy and not sure what I would have done without Ashlyn. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! We will be in touch again!”

About: I'm excited to meet the center of your world. I've raised and loved dogs and cats of many shapes, sizes, and ages. Whether you're a busy professional or away from home, I'm happy to help. With experience of volunteering at shelters and raising both dogs and cats, I’m excited to take care of yours, too. I am currently only available for evening and weekend visits. I'm flexible with clear communication if you need an extra visit when travel is delayed. I'm very careful when opening and closing doors, as I know some pets can escape very easily. When outside, I keep dogs (and cats) on shorter leashes to maintain control and safety. When feeding and inside the home, I'll follow all care instructions. If I have questions, I'll reach out to receive clarification.
About: When you're away, you want to know your dog is happy, healthy, and cared for like family. As a Rover client myself, I know how much thought goes into finding a sitter who will truly care for your beloved pet. More than anything, I want your dog to feel genuinely loved, not just looked after. . I understand that each dog is unique, so I'll partner w/ you and build a routine around what your pup actually needs, provide individualized attention, enrichment, and a calm, structured environment. Updates and photos will be provided as often as you want, and communication will be professional and prompt. . Centrally located in downtown Phoenix, under 15 minutes from PHX airport, in a secure building complex. My home is calm, clean, and puppy-proofed, with all dog supplies, toys, grooming products, bedding, and furnishings chosen specifically for safety and hygiene. You and your dog can expect a well-maintained, hypoallergenic-conscious environment, alongside Tater Tot (my 3.5 year old, professionally trained, spunky silky terrier) and my pup adoring partner, Justin. . Meet n' Greets are encouraged, in-person or virtual (video) to make sure it's a good fit for everyone. If your pup does better one-on-one, with gentle structure, individualized attention, and endless pampering, I'd love to meet them! . Background: . Dogs, cats, horses, aquatic pets, animals big and small - if it had fur, fins, scales, or feathers, I’ve cared for them all! I have over 40 years nurturing and loving animals: training award-winning service dogs for people who have physical disabilities, raising Clydesdale draft horses in a rural Midwestern farming community, and volunteering at PAWS, Chicago's largest no-kill shelter. A close family friend's parents worked in veterinary medicine, and I spent years shadowing their practice in the office and in the countryside. Also, I frequently travel to pet sit for friends locally and cross-country, and I'll bring that same level of trust and attentiveness to your pup. . Between my own pets and the animals I grew up around, I have real, hands-on experience with puppies, seniors, rescues, special needs, terminal illness, intestinal ailments, medications, subcutaneous fluid administration, food allergies and specialized diets, training reinforcement/techniques, behavioral issues, and grooming and hygiene best practices. . I do best with puppies (AVSAB guidelines for safety and socialization), senior dogs, pups with special diets or allergies, and dogs needing extra patience or a quieter setup. Puppies get structured routines and positive reinforcement. Seniors get a slower pace and attention to mobility and medication timing. Allergies and special diets are followed exactly. For dogs with behavioral sensitivities, whether that's noise, other animals, or new environments, I adjust the pace and space to keep them comfortable rather than forcing interaction. . My pets: . My silky terriers have always been by my side, first Addi, and now Tater Tot. Addi made the journey with me from Chicago to coastal Southern California to Phoenix, and we spent those years road tripping, hiking, camping, kayaking, and exploring together. She lived a full life to 16, including managing Cushing's syndrome and eventually renal failure with consistent, attentive medical care in her final years. That experience taught me patient, individualized care, something I bring into every dog I look after. Tater Tot, now 3.5 years old, joined our family here in Arizona after Addi crossed the 🌈 bridge. I am 100% available for your pup all day long, so pet care fits naturally into my normal routine rather than being squeezed around it. Feeding, medication, and walks happen on your dog's exact schedule, not mine. Walks are timed around Phoenix heat, always in shaded areas and during the cooler parts of the day; your dog will always be walked or get outside for a potty break regardless of temperature. Between scheduled care, I'm present in the home for calm companionship, not leaving your dog alone for long stretches. For short-term stays and overnight boarding at my residence, here's what to expect. . Household members: . - My partner works remotely. Kind-natured, with years of experience caring for friends' and family's pets. He grew up with golden retrievers, goldendoodles, and other pets. - Tater Tot, our 3.5 year old silky terrier, completed private 1:1 obedience training with a professional, certified trainer. He is fully vaccinated, on tick/flea guard and preventative heartworm medication. Responds to basic commands, plays well with other dogs, and is polite around people and animals. Adaptable in new environments, walks well on a leash, comfortable in the car, and potty-pad/crate-trained. - We don't feed our pets people food due to health/diet restrictions, but let us know if yours enjoys sharing. - Vaccination and preventative med records available if you'd like to see them. . Living conditions: . -Secure 2,000 sq. ft. residence in a gated multi-unit community, single floor, clean and puppy-proofed. Bedrooms can be gated off, and there's room to setup a pen or crate in the living area. - Your dog will always be walked or go outside for potty breaks. Timing is adjusted around Phoenix heat conditions and matched to your dog's leash comfort and energy level. Getting outside requires an elevator or four flights of stairs, which I factor into scheduling. - If your pup is potty pad trained and does not wish to be walked in the extreme heat, we've created a dedicated, secure, and hygienic potty area on our balcony (3 ft railings), since we don't have an adjoining yard. - The neighborhood is dog-friendly and walkable, a mix of homes, apartments, shops, and restaurants. Hance Park is about a mile away, and if your pup is athletic, we can drive to any local Mountain Preserve for some on-leash hiking, weather permitting.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, and caring for them truly comes naturally to me. I had a 106 lb German Shepherd for 8 years, and during that time I received professional training so I could properly train and care for her, giving me a strong foundation in structure, behavior, and handling larger breeds. Most recently, I lived in a home with four pets (both cats and dogs), where I helped manage daily care, routines, and lots of love and attention. I’ve also fostered animals, which has taught me patience, adaptability, and how to help pets feel safe and comfortable in new environments. What sets me apart is my ability to balance structure with affection—I’m attentive, intuitive to each pet’s needs, and experienced with different personalities, from playful and energetic to calm or senior pets who need a gentler approach. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or simply providing a calm, loving presence, I treat every pet like they’re my own. I work from home part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive, consistent care. Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine—whether that’s walks, playtime, feedings, or cuddle sessions. I bring a calm, “pet concierge” approach to every visit, keeping routines smooth, spaces clean, and pets happy. From energetic dogs who love activity to cats who prefer a more relaxed, on-their-terms vibe, I tailor my care to each pet’s personality—making sure they feel safe, loved, and just a little bit spoiled. Safety and trust are always my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I create a calm, clean, and secure environment where they can feel comfortable and at ease. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of your space and your pet’s routine—keeping feeding schedules, walks, litter care, and any specific instructions consistent. I pay close attention to details, from securely locking doors to ensuring pets are always supervised and safe. In my home, pets are welcomed into a peaceful, pet-friendly environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and cozy spots to relax. I’m mindful of introductions, boundaries, and maintaining a stress-free atmosphere for every pet. I take a thoughtful, attentive approach—reading each pet’s behavior, keeping a watchful eye, and providing updates so you feel confident and connected while you’re away. My goal is for you to feel complete peace of mind, knowing your pet is safe, loved, and in very good hands.
“very great with communication and Betty adored her. She was running late due to traffic but let me know ahead of time. we definitely will be using her again.”

My goal is to put your mind at ease with a dependable, consistent schedule and frequent updates. A little about me - I’ve lived with pets my whole life and I’m currently a proud mom to two rescue kittens. I feel comfortable working with cats and small to medium/large dogs of all ages, with a variety of medical conditions. My experience ranges from caring for kittens and puppies to senior cats and dogs, including pets with special diets and disabilities. I am open to any breed of dog and have especially extensive experience with chihuahuas and golden retrievers. I am available for walks, hikes, play time, overnight stays at your house, or quick check-ins. I’d love to get to know you and your pet, so feel free to message me with any questions! My house sitting rates include walks and cover up to 16 hours of care. Constant care of up to 24 hours is charged at an additional 50% of the nightly rate. Starting July 1st, my availability will be limited to weekends, and overnights only during the week as I will no longer be able to drop ins and walks between 8AM and 6PM Monday through Friday. I will review your safety concerns and protocols prior to any assignment, including any doors, stairs, and gates in your house, any use of crate, and any harness or leash used for outdoor activities.
About: Hi! I’m Erin and currently have way more free time so I thought why not do something that I absolutely love! Caring for all types of pets! With years of hands-on experience, I offer dependable, compassionate care for pets of all kinds, from energetic pups needing long walks to senior or sick animals requiring extra attention. I've bottle fed kittens, nursed sick pets back to health, trained dogs in basic commands, and loved every minute of it. Whether it's daily walks, in home sitting, or just a comforting visit while you're away, I treat your pet like family. My goal is simple: happy, healthy pets and total peace of mind for you. “Sherry has been great with my pitbull. Pepper can be reactive & has alot of energy for a 10 yo dog & Sherry handles her great (even runs some of her energy out when needed) Sherry is also quick to respond, which is helpful because I tend to book last minute. Thank You Sherry!”

About: I have been around dogs my whole life! I have never been in the predicament to buy one but my family has always had them. They truly are a gift to this world! I'm currently working remotely which means I have a lot of free time in between meetings. As long as the communication is there I can be available! Currently, live with roommates so I would not be able to cater to your fur babies needs at my home at this time. Hopefully soon!

Jordan was absolutely amazing! He took such great care of my dogs and went above and beyond while I was away. One of my dogs requires medication, and he made sure it was given properly every time, which gave me so much peace of mind. He kept me updated with lots of photos and consistent communication, which I really appreciated. He was also very respectful of my home and genuinely caring with my dogs, you can tell he truly loves animals. He’s quick to respond, reliable, and professional. I would highly recommend Jordan to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker or pet sitter. I will definitely be using his services again!

The service that Ynez provided was outstanding. I was nervous booking at first because I had a last minute engagement and needed my dog to be taken care of but she quickly relieved those nerves. She was 30 minutes early and my dog immediately loved her! Appa and I will be making sure to reach out to her the next time I need help! To call her a lifesaver is to really sell her short!

Benjamin was very responsive and awesome! I had him walk my dog for a week when I got called to work in-office last minute and he was able to accommodate! I highly recommend him if you’re looking for any kind of Rover service, and want to use a trusted walker! Thanks again Benjamin!

Grace was very accommodating and helped me with a last minute request. She was very communicative and had a great attitude and understanding. I would highly recommend her for any kind of Rover service! She truly cares a lot about the pets she takes care of! Thank you again Grace!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
