About: I have years of experience dogsitting and housesitting for families with multiple dogs. From energetic Boxers to senior dogs to anxious dogs, I have the experience. I am new to Rover and typically have dogsat through family friends/word of mouth. Looking for some company during my WFH job during the week! I have a work from home job with limited meetings. I am available to hang out for longer periods than just a quick potty break or walk. Available during the day after 8 am CST and evenings. Weekends not available. Your dog will be treated with as much care and love as I treat my dog with. I am attentive and diligent with whatever your dog needs. Whether that be extra long pets or patience when your dog is sniffing on a walk, you can count on me. Experienced with older senior dogs and younger dogs that require extra watchful eyes for mischief. I always will leave your house in the same condition as it was when I arrived.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, and caring for them truly comes naturally to me. I had a 106 lb German Shepherd for 8 years, and during that time I received professional training so I could properly train and care for her, giving me a strong foundation in structure, behavior, and handling larger breeds. Most recently, I lived in a home with four pets (both cats and dogs), where I helped manage daily care, routines, and lots of love and attention. I’ve also fostered animals, which has taught me patience, adaptability, and how to help pets feel safe and comfortable in new environments. I grew up with four dogs and a cat, and I’ve raised kittens from birth, so I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and needs. About: I have loved dogs since I met my first one as a child. I started officially pet sitting once I hit high school and I’ve been doing it part time since. I am comfortable with big, small, timid, reactive, high energy, and low energy dogs. I have yet to meet a dog that didn’t befriend me after a little patience and love from my end :) I currently have pretty open availability as I just moved to Phoenix!! First come first serve and I can usually work around your schedule as I don’t have too many commitments. I follow all rules given to me by my client and make sure to clean up all messes. I leave my clients house how (or better than) it was when I arrived.

I do best with puppies (AVSAB guidelines for safety and socialization), senior dogs, pups with special diets or allergies, and dogs needing extra patience or a quieter setup. Puppies get structured routines and positive reinforcement. Seniors get a slower pace and attention to mobility and medication timing. Allergies and special diets are followed exactly. For dogs with behavioral sensitivities, whether that's noise, other animals, or new environments, I adjust the pace and space to keep them comfortable rather than forcing interaction. . My pets: . My silky terriers have always been by my side, first Addi, and now Tater Tot. Addi made the journey with me from Chicago to coastal Southern California to Phoenix, and we spent those years road tripping, hiking, camping, kayaking, and exploring together. She lived a full life to 16, including managing Cushing's syndrome and eventually renal failure with consistent, attentive medical care in her final years. That experience taught me patient, individualized care, something I bring into every dog I look after. Tater Tot, now 3.5 years old, joined our family here in Arizona after Addi crossed the 🌈 bridge. I am 100% available for your pup all day long, so pet care fits naturally into my normal routine rather than being squeezed around it. Feeding, medication, and walks happen on your dog's exact schedule, not mine. Walks are timed around Phoenix heat, always in shaded areas and during the cooler parts of the day; your dog will always be walked or get outside for a potty break regardless of temperature. Between scheduled care, I'm present in the home for calm companionship, not leaving your dog alone for long stretches. For short-term stays and overnight boarding at my residence, here's what to expect. . Household members: . - My partner works remotely. Kind-natured, with years of experience caring for friends' and family's pets. He grew up with golden retrievers, goldendoodles, and other pets. - Tater Tot, our 3.5 year old silky terrier, completed private 1:1 obedience training with a professional, certified trainer. He is fully vaccinated, on tick/flea guard and preventative heartworm medication. Responds to basic commands, plays well with other dogs, and is polite around people and animals. Adaptable in new environments, walks well on a leash, comfortable in the car, and potty-pad/crate-trained. - We don't feed our pets people food due to health/diet restrictions, but let us know if yours enjoys sharing. - Vaccination and preventative med records available if you'd like to see them. . Living conditions: . -Secure 2,000 sq. ft. residence in a gated multi-unit community, single floor, clean and puppy-proofed. Bedrooms can be gated off, and there's room to setup a pen or crate in the living area. - Your dog will always be walked or go outside for potty breaks. Timing is adjusted around Phoenix heat conditions and matched to your dog's leash comfort and energy level. Getting outside requires an elevator or four flights of stairs, which I factor into scheduling. - If your pup is potty pad trained and does not wish to be walked in the extreme heat, we've created a dedicated, secure, and hygienic potty area on our balcony (3 ft railings), since we don't have an adjoining yard. - The neighborhood is dog-friendly and walkable, a mix of homes, apartments, shops, and restaurants. Hance Park is about a mile away, and if your pup is athletic, we can drive to any local Mountain Preserve for some on-leash hiking, weather permitting.

About: I have always been a dog person, grew up with labs, taken care of my friends and families pets when they are out of town. I have experince with senior dogs and active iamb dogs. I am currently working from home, I am up early and like to be outside when I can, my day is flexiable and would love to have a buddy to see during the day I have a condo on the first floor ( no stairs!) with the perfect people watching windows. I keep my place cold , so great for this summer heat. I have a small back patio that is fenced in. Large grassy spots around my condo for easy bathroom access. I take my buddies for a walk first thing in the morning, and one in the evening, Through out the day they get snuggles and pets.

About: Animals are quite literally my whole life. My parents brought home a puppy a few months before I was born, and we grew up side by side. Caring for him was part of my daily chore chart, and he lived to be sixteen! The moment I moved out on my own, I rescued Bear, a Pomeranian who was on the euthanasia list at a local shelter. He lived to be almost 19 years old—a milestone my friends and family attribute to the way I cared for him. That experience also provided deep, hands-on familiarity with senior pet care. After he passed last Fall, my house was just too quiet. I welcomed a new puppy, Dash, within a few weeks. Raising him brought a whole new set of skills as I've navigated puppyhood from teething and potty training to post-neuter recovery. My obsession isn't just about dogs, but all animals. I've driven an injured bird to a local rescue center after finding a little guy in my yard, and was elated when I learned he'd made a full recovery. I also regularly fish fruit flies out of wine glasses and bees out of pools; watching them shake off and fly away brings me so much joy. Finally, I've been a pescatarian for over 14 years. A decision I made largely because I could no longer stand the thought of animals being in pain. Animals seem to feel that, as they always gravitate in my direction (peep the photo of my little bee friend!). You can rest assured, time with your fuzzy kiddo is more than a slot on the cal for me. Being around animals always brings pure joy to my day. I am a freelance live event producer and graphic designer. Most of my work is on the road, which means when I'm home, I'm *home*. And after being a Rover customer for close to a decade, I'm excited to offer the same care and attention to others' fuzzy kiddos as well. 🥰 I have a spacious, one-bedroom apartment where the common area is secured by three latching gates. These create space between the bedroom, the bathroom, and the entryway. This is not to say pets aren't allowed beyond those spaces; they're in place to support active supervision and prevent an adventurous escape. 😉 My apartment is one of 25 units per floor and is on a higher, completely enclosed floor--accessible by elevator or stairs (both behind closed doors). My front door automatically locks behind me, making it very secure. The complex includes a very spacious, fully enclosed, outdoor dog park that includes a working, pup-height water fountain. It's accessible only by residential key cards and is rinsed daily to keep it hygienic and safe.

I have experience with both cats and dogs from healthy to handi-capable, and from young to old! I have a veterinarian in the family so another expert opinion just a call away if ever needed. Currently I am available all week. I work from home but I am able to be fully flexible with it! I am up early in the mornings for walks before the heat or I can stay over with your critters to keep them company! I take pet care very seriously. I am able to adapt to energy levels to make sure every pet and pet owner gets a personalized experience. If your pet needs 24/7 attention (like my yorkipoo) then I will pet them 24/7.
