“Nicole had a very calm and gentle presence and I was surprised by how quickly my cats adapted to her being around. I have one very friendly cat and two other scaredy-cats but one was warming up quickly and the other let Nicole pet him by the end of the week we were away. Definitely loved getting the updates everyday and seeing the pictures that were snapped daily. I’m so happy I found out about Rover. It’s been a super professional experience for something that can feel so nerve wracking- handing your keys over and entrusting someone you’ve never met to care for your animals. About: I have grown up with pets of all shapes and sizes all my life. I helped raise a few puppies myself as well. I'm usually all my friends go to person to house sit and take care of their dogs. I'm the type of person who will keep your dog active, including taking them for walks, a fun run at the local dog park, a quick car ride for the occasional Puppuccino (if their diet allows for it), as well as to the local dog friendly brunch spot! I do work from home and have a super flexible schedule which makes it super easy to care for your pet. I have a sweet terrier mix of my own so I used to being around pets and understand what it takes to be a great pup parent! I have a dog of my own so I understand first hand the importance of pet care! I also walk my dog daily and understand the importance of keeping an active pet! I am with pets most of the day during the week since I work from home. A little about me - I’ve lived with pets my whole life and I’m currently a proud mom to two rescue kittens. I feel comfortable working with cats and small to medium/large dogs of all ages, with a variety of medical conditions. My experience ranges from caring for kittens and puppies to senior cats and dogs, including pets with special diets and disabilities. I am open to any breed of dog and have especially extensive experience with chihuahuas and golden retrievers. I am available for walks, hikes, play time, overnight stays at your house, or quick check-ins. I’d love to get to know you and your pet, so feel free to message me with any questions! Because I work full time, my availability for walks and drop-ins is limited to evenings and weekends. I also accept house sitting requests for the weekends or for pets who are accustomed to being home alone during the day on weekdays. My house sitting rates include walks and cover up to 16 hours of care. Constant care of up to 24 hours is charged at an additional 50% of the nightly rate. I will review your safety concerns and protocols prior to any assignment, including any doors, stairs, and gates in your house, any use of crate, and any harness or leash used for outdoor activities.

About: I had my first dog, for whom I was responsible, at age eleven. I have had dogs for the rest of my life. I had a dog with cataracts and diabetes, so I'm good at giving special care to dogs, including administration of medication and injections. I'm teaching full time, but am free to board dogs, as long as the owner doesn't mind them being alone while I'm at work. My Shepherd mix has a lot of energy, so we keep her busy and let her have her daily zooms. We have a yard that dogs seem to love. I give medication to one of my dogs regularly and also medicated our diabetic and blind dog for the three years that she was in that state. My husband and I don't have kids, so our dogs are our babies. They love having guests and so do we.

I genuinely love being around animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m very patient, attentive, and dependable, and I always try to pay attention to each dog’s individual needs and behavior. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just having someone calm and comforting around, I’ll make sure they get lots of care, attention, and love while you’re away. I have full availability Friday–Sunday, and I’m also available during the weekdays between my summer classes, especially mornings and early afternoons from 6am–1pm Monday–Thursday. I’m pretty flexible as well and will always do my best to work with schedules that are convenient for both of us. I always prioritize a dog’s safety, comfort, and trust during walks. I pay close attention to their behavior, energy level, and surroundings to help keep them safe and comfortable at all times. I’ll follow any instructions you provide, including leash preferences, walking routes, feeding or water needs, and any special care your dog may need. I also make sure dogs get plenty of attention, patience, and positive interaction during our time together.
