“I would like to first off start by stating that I went through five different interviews in order to find Marisa!! For the original meet and greet, I was worried as she was one of the last people we were interviewing from the Rover app. She was on time and made no excuses about being tardy, nor having to reschedule ultimately very reliable from the first time we met her after that she did come and do a test run with the drop in visit and did absolutely amazing. For example, my dog ended up urinating in my house and she had seen some Clorox wipes and obviously there was paper towels and other stuff there she could have left the urine on the ground and that would've actually been fine with me because I would've picked it up, but she actually went the extra step as to clean it up and use Clorox wipes and she threw it away!! So from the beginning, I knew she was absolutely amazing Ever since then she has been walking our dog and doing drop in visits. She has done multiple and I will continue to book with her because my dog is a puppy (1.5 years old) still and doesn't know how to control his excitement so to other people he can be scary, but to Marisa she was able to contain him get his behavior traits, lockdown and ultimately be able to already to train him in a certain routine that they have together which he absolutely loves Now that we won't be out of town coming up soon she may not be walking him or doing drop in visits as much but we will definitely be using her on a regular basis. I would 100% recommend for anyone that is needing drop in visits or pet care to hire Marisa because she is absolutely amazing and again my dog is 80 pounds plus being a Staffy mix with American pitbull he is super strong and can be very aggressive towards other dogs and she has been able to keep him under control. Thank you again Marisa for providing the most amazing outstanding care for our baby and loving him just as much as we do I will forever be grateful for finding you. Thank you again!!!”

About: Hi my name is Jackie , I am a passionate and experienced dog sitter with a heart full of love for furry friends. My love for dogs started at a young age when I grew up surrounded by my family's four-legged companions. From playing fetch in the backyard to long walks to the park, i learned the ins and outs of caring for dogs and quickly realized my love for all dogs. I am up early and only work nights part time, so the furry friends will have my attention all day and only will not be with me at bedtime until I come back home. My dog-sitting services offer much more than just feeding and walking dogs. About: I am a 37 year old critical care nurse who is on a break from healthcare :). I have been a nurse since 2012 and recently experienced burnout working at bedside. I have always had dogs of my own since I can remember and I also have years of experience pet-sitting, volunteering at animal care and control, as well as caring for my own dogs (that are now geriatric). I have two small dogs under 10 lbs but I also have experience with large breed dogs from volunteering at the shelter as well as walking my partner's german shepherd, pitbull, and rotweiler regularly. As I am unemployed currently, I have a very flexible schedule. I currently live in a townhome that has a very small fenced in back yard area. I was dog boarding and walking for rover years ago (as you will see in my reviews- just to be clear- the pictures of the yard and home on my account is no longer where I am living). I am mostly looking to dogsit/ dogwalk in the customers home but can occasionally also board in my own home if it is a good fit with my own dogs and home. I encourage doing a meet and greet ahead of time to make sure we are a good fit. I have a maltese/ yorkie (Morkie) mix - 14 years old and a wire-haired terrier mix who is 9 years old. I treat my dogs like human babies, they sleep with me in the bed and lay with me on the couch and have full reign of the house:) I would love to meet you and your fur baby/babies! I look forward to giving your dog lots of love, long walks, playtime, and whatever else they may need! I am available and willing to give VERY early morning walks or later evening walks during the hot months of the summer so your dog can get some exercise before the pavement is baked! Your dog will be treated and loved as if they were my own spoiled fur baby:) Texting or calling is the best communication for me! I am available anytime of the day. I am available for pet care on any days of the week/ weekend currently. I will keep my availability calendar up to date with my current availability. I am willing to take your pups on early morning or late evening walks to avoid the heat. I am mostly looking to dogsit/ dog board in the client's home but if it is a good fit with my dogs and my own home, will consider dogboarding/ sitting in my own home. Willing to stay overnight in client's home and or stay there throughout the day to hang out with your pup (not just drop in briefly to feed/ walk/let out).
