On top of that, I spent nearly two years volunteering with the Arizona Humane Society, working with both cats and dogs on socialization, enrichment, and safe handling. Our vet recommended we do Rover as a way to socialize our Thor puppy when he was only 6 months old and its now been almost 5 years of doing Rover dog boarding or as I like to call them "puppy sleepovers" and we absolutely love it! We get to share our home and get to spoil pups and give them their own vacation experience and Thor gets buds to play with. It's a win-win-win! Thor is a gorgeous 5yo yellow lab with the best temperament, he is super well socialized thanks to Rover, and he loves (more like obsessed) to play fetch! Thor is fully vaccinated and ask that your dogs also be fully vaccinated and up to date on their boosters. I work from home so I get to spend a lot of time outside playing fetch. Thor is very active and loves to play so we love having friends over for him to play with, so your pup will get plenty of outdoor time on their vacation! Thor is really friendly and does well with all types of dogs. He's super patient and really careful when playing with small pups. He's really good at respecting other pups boundaries when they don't want to play or when they need a break. He is such a good boy. He is super well socialized and plays well with all size dogs and has been exposed to all types of breeds. We're excited about the opportunity to care for your dog and give them the vacation they deserve! We hope to be your choice for their special getaway! Our pup parents always joke that they feel like their pups are on vacation too when they come stay with us so we have made it our mission to make them feel like they are on vacation too! I work from home so I am available all day. I work 7am-5pm M-Th and I'm off Fri-Sat-Sun, but my job is very flexible and I can step away whenever I need to. I play fetch daily with him between 12-1pm until he gets tired. I noticed that when we have other pups stay with us they are too tired from playing all day to play fetch for long but I like sticking to his set play time. I work from my laptop so most of the time I sit in the backyard watching the pups play. I have a fenced in yard with a dog run with artificial grass for pups to run and play as well as a dog friendly pool and patio area. The grass is cleaned and deodorized every Sunday. Pups will be inside our home unless they are supervised outside. We do not crate Thor or any pups in our care unless specificly asked to do so by their pet parent. We let them sleep where they feel most comfortable but my son loves having them sleep with him if it's ok and allowed by their parents. Can't wait to meet your fur baby!

“This was Constance's first time watching Pickles, and my first experience with Rover. I was so happy with my experience! Pickles was severely abused before we rescued him and is extremely intimidated by everything because of it, so my anxiousness over leaving him with someone new was quite high. About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was a baby I’ve been around a variety of breeds ranging from tiny Chihuahuas to Great Danes as well as cats and other small animals! I currently have seven dogs and three cats of my own that are all rescues. In 2019, I did work at a doggy daycare where I had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience caring for multiple dogs that were not of my own in a safe, supervised environment. About: ive saved 100s of street cats find homes, I have spent at least 150k in the last 6 years, saved 3 dogs off the street and I paid 5k to a rescue to save them, and 12k for a stray dog I saved..its True..all documented. What does that tell you?? im retired and can take dogs for walks or stay overnight, Im easy...and I also love cats....even medications. Im pretty much open within my area, I live near Cardinals stadium. Whatever you need me for, can also give oral meds to cats or dogs. You can absolutely trust me, im a retired postal worker after 31 years. I would treat your home better than my home...you can install cameras...doesn't matter to me.

“Leslie is so great! She fed and administered meds to our two kitties for four days while we were away on a trip. We could tell right away at our meet & greet that she is very good with animals. Even our normally shy / skittish kitty came out of the back room and went right up to Leslie to greet her. When we got home my wife commented on how good our one kitty who receives meds looked, and they both were happy and relaxed; none of the complaining ‘I’m mad because you’ve been gone!’ Meowing that we used to get upon returning.
