“Kenzie was absolutely amazing! I booked the wrong weekend by accident and she worked with me while I was out of town to correct the app with the right visit days and time. She sent pictures everyday and went above and beyond and I would recommend her to anyone!”

“Lacey went above and beyond when taking care of my two puppies! She took wonderful care and even cleaned up their toys after playing! She was quick to respond to texts and confirmed when she would be coming. I appreciate her taking such great care of my boys.”
“Kelly was amazing! Our cat was so well cared for while we were gone, and Kelly’s updates were always very detailed and informative. Our cat is usually very anxious while we’re gone, but we had no concerns about her in Kelly’s care. I’ll definitely be booking Kelly again!”

“Unfortunately my dog was so scared he did not want to interact with Heater. She came everyday and kept trying. She checked in on him twice a day and made sure he had food and water. Thank you Heather!”

“Carlee was amazing! We had a last minute request for drop in visits and she came through and was so great with you pup! We got regular updates and photos which our kiddos appreciated while they were missing their dog. She also walked our dog on the visits which was an added bonus!”

“Kayla was our first Rover hire, and our experience with her from start to finish was A+. We knew immediately from the meet and greet that she and Shred were going to get along well. She showed up with treats in her pocket and asked thoughtful questions. She helped us test our new remote access and showed up early when we let her know Shred was lonely. Kayla provided helpful observations for us to follow up on as well. Totally Shred approved...we are thankful to have her on our care team roster. :)”

About: I’ve loved dogs my entire life. I grew up with them and genuinely can’t imagine life without them. I currently care for multiple families with a mix of big dogs, medium dogs, and even cats, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities and needs. I host dogs in my home to give them a safe, calm, and welcoming space while you’re away. My goal is to make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and as stress-free as possible. I’m very active, so whether your dog loves long walks, runs, or just hanging out, I’m happy to match their energy. I treat every pet like my own and always keep you updated so you feel confident they’re in good hands.

“This is the third time I’ve had Monique take care of my cats while I’m away. She always gives them extra love and attention and takes the best care of them! I appreciate the updates and photos as well!”

About: What sets me apart is my wide range of hands-on experience with animals of all kinds. I’ve worked with small to big dogs and cared for many friendly family pets before. I’m calm, patient, and comfortable handling pets with different personalities and energy levels. I treat every animal like my own and always make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because I’m flexible and available whenever needed. I can adjust my schedule to make sure pets get the attention, exercise, and care they deserve, no matter the time of day. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I make sure to follow their routine closely, including feeding, walking, playtime, and any special needs. I give lots of attention and affection, keep their environment safe and clean, and make sure they feel comfortable and happy while their owners are away. For example, I’ve cared for dogs by sticking to their usual feeding schedule, taking them on walks, and giving them playtime and training sessions, just like I would for my own pets.
“Having a pet stay home when you go out of town can be nerve racking. Having someone reliable with great communication can ease these feelings. Having Benjamin check in on our elderly cat with consistent feedback was wonderful. The multiple photos showing him happy during their visits gave peace of mind. We will definitely book Benjamin in the future!! Thank you so much for taking such good care of our furbabby!”

“Patty is so kind and reliable! Our cats are incredibly shy, but after just a few days, she had our littlest guy coming out to see her for cuddles. Patty was an effective communicator the entire time and we were able to enjoy our time away, knowing our little guys were in great care.”

“We have had Grace, 2 times now without pups, dogs, she has done a very good job with all of them! I have a senior Girl and she requires medicine, so she is great about that! Gone her a try, she is incredibly responsible!”

About: Since I was 4 years old, dogs have always been a part of my life. I LOVE DOGS more than anything in this entire world!!! I have done everything from dog walking to dog sitting (15+ years experience) and am also a dog owner. I do not have professional dog training experience, but have trained my dogs to do tricks, become potty trained and play appropriately with other dogs. Here is some information about my dog…I have a 2 year old sweet, affectionate, loving, non-shedding Cairn/Silky Terrier mix named Zippy. ***IMPORTANT*** He will need to accompany me while dog sitting at your home and I am more than happy to setup a meet and greet with your dog/s before starting the job. If preferred, I can definitely leave him at home while walking, feeding, playing and/or hanging for a few hours with your dog/s. A little about me…I moved back to AZ in 2024 to be close in proximity to my family (also lived here from 1993-1998). Prior to that, I lived in Denver, CO for 17 years and am originally from Chicago. I currently live in north Scottsdale with Zippy. I am a very mature, responsible, considerate, kind and respectful person. I have plenty of work experience and am in good health. I have very positive, past written/emailed references for dog sitting, at home childcare, etc. My family, friends and past employers can attest to my loyalty and hard work. PERKS :)…While dog sitting at your home, I will also water plants, collect mail and keep the house spotless. I have a reliable vehicle to transport your dog/s to a dog park, play date, etc. and most importantly, arrive on time to my job duty. :) I just recently (voluntarily) left a full time job in healthcare, so my current availability is wide open. CONSIDER ME YOUR GO TO PERSON WHEN NEEDING A LONG TERM SITTER, WALKER, FEEDER OR TRANSPORTER (and anything else you may need)! Thank you for reading my novel :) and I highly look forward to fulfilling your pup/s needs: ~Melissa P.S. ***I will not be available for dog walking or drop-ins every Sunday from 6-11 AM. Unfortunately, Rover’s calendar will not allow me to adjust this change :(*** Pet care is a part of my everyday & night routine with my dog, Zippy (see Safety, Trust & Environment section for details). I am currently without a job, so my availability is wide open to also spend quality time w/your pup/s. ***I will not be available for dog walking or drop-ins every Sunday from 6-11 AM. Unfortunately, Rover’s calendar will not allow me to adjust*** My daily routine with my dog, Zippy. Wake up early AM (well before the heat hits) and go for a long walk around my VERY large apartment complex. Treats/Feed —> Play inside with toys —> Zippy nap time —> Potty/Walk —> Repeat. Weather permitting, I also take Zippy to the Paradise Valley Dog Park and weekly playdates with family/friend dogs. I am more than happy to do my above routine or adapt to whatever schedule your pup/s are on. Zippy is flexible. LOL :) ***I will not be available for dog walking or drop-ins every Sunday from 6-11 AM. Unfortunately, Rover’s calendar will not allow me to adjust***
“We have been using Erika for a few weeks now. This was our first time using Rover and we couldn’t be happier. She has been so good with our pups. We have one anxious pup that now loves seeing her too! She has been available last minute and gives our pups the attention and love that we hoped for when finding someone on Rover.”

“Laura was quick to respond to a same week request and was easy to work with! She took great care of our kitties while we were away for the weekend. Will definitely reach out for future needs!”

About: *Dog Lover *Home Full Time *Large Fenced Yard that dog’s love to run around & explore. I am an absolute dog lover, at home full-time, with a large and secure fenced backyard. There is plenty of room for dogs to run around and play outside, as well as, a doggy-door for easy access in and out of the house. A brief stroll through my neighborhood leads to Paradise Valley Park for extended walks and a visit to the dog park if your pet is feeling social. I also have a pool for water loving dogs to cool off in when the weather is right and there are several desert mountain hiking trails nearby for the more adventurous types. I love hiking, so if you want your pet to receive that type of exercise, I will eagerly abide. I live in a quiet neighborhood just 1 minute off of the exit ramp of the 51 FWY and Bell Rd. I was raised with Golden Retrievers and Chocolate Labs here in Arizona as a youngster and now I have over 20 years of experience in owning and handling my own dogs as an adult. Most recenlty I had two Bullmastiffs, a brother and sister duo Oliver and Lola and I also had an American Bulldog known as The Snoopdogg. Oliver, a brindle, was the sweetest, biggest (150 lbs.) laziest dog ever. He had zero interest in toys or playing fetch. Happy-go-lucky and stuborn are two good descriptive words for Oliver. All he wanted to do was eat, lay in th sun out back or on his dog bed by the front doors so he could watch the neighborhood cats play. Every once in a while on an extremely hot day Oliver would go for a swim. His sister Lola, a fawn, (107 lbs.) was quite active for her large size and the protective one in the house. She demanded attention at all times and barked at anybody that appeared in her line of sight from the front doors. The Snoopdogg, solid white, (87lbs.) was infatuated with his ball, loved water and getting into the pool and he also enjoyed long desert hikes. The Snoopdogg was absolutley one of the smartest and most well behaved dog's I've ever known. Actually, I am not even sure he was a dog, and he definitely did not think he was one either. He basically thought of himself as an odd shaped human. His ability to understand an extremely large vocabulary furthered this sentiment. The Snoopdogg required almost zero discipline. He just seemed to get it. I could walk him anywhere off of a leash and he wouldn't leave my side even if a rabbit darted out from the bushes or another dog was approaching. He was a very special dog with extreme intelligence. He just wanted to be treated like a person and he was. He even had his own recliner. All three dogs, Oliver, Lola and The Snoopdogg were amazing animals and very much a part of our family. Each one had its own unique personality. Bully breeds often only live to 8-12 years. Lola and the Snoopdogg were both 12 when it was time to say goodbye and Oliver was 9. It has been almost a year now since saying goodbye to Lola, who was the last surviving dog of the three. Although I miss them all dearly, I am not quite ready to replace them just yet. I am however definitely missing the very special companionship, love and joy that dogs so often provide to us all. Their ability to be excited to see you each and every day no matter what is going on in the human world is one of my favorite aspects of owning dogs and/or watching other people’s dogs. I would love to provide a comfortable and spacious place for your pet(s) to enjoy and feel right at home while you are away. I am currently home full-time so I can definitely provide that extra special attention, excercise and care throughout the entire day and/or overnight stay. If you have any specific discipline requirements, such as, your pet not being allowed on the furniture or not being given any people food or anything else you consider to be important, just let me know. With the correct information, I will be able to follow your lead, and do my best to maintain your animals behavior so it will remain consistent. I am willing to host MOST dogs—as long as they are HOUSEBROKEN and NON-AGGRESSIVE. Hope to hear from you soon. Until then... Cheers! I work from home so I am able to provide plenty of care and attention and can walk your dog in the neighborhood 1-2 times per day. We have a securely fenced yard and a home with a doggy door so your dog will be safe and is able to go in and out for potty breaks as needed.
“Danny is a loving caretaker for my young puppy. Danny met me ahead of our first appointment to get a clear understanding of the structure I’m training the puppy to follow and he does a great job of maintaining the structure, exercising the puppy to help release the midday energy. Danny is a great communicator and it’s clear he loves this work! I’m looking forward to Danny’s ongoing assistance as I need help maintaining healthy growing puppy routines while I’m at work during the day!”

scott was such a great sitter for our cat! really appreciated the regular updates and care shown toward her. also having someone come by that has experience with taking care of cats, especially with her specific health needs, made me feel really at ease. thank you scott!

This was the first time using Kelly and she was Awesome! I have 2 very spoiled older dogs and I hate leaving them but I could tell right away by their report cards that Kelly was spoiling them too! It made me feel so much more comfortable and I was able to enjoy my trip.

Onika was absolutely wonderful with our dogs, Richard and Piper. From the moment we left, I felt completely at ease knowing they were in such caring and attentive hands. She kept us updated, treated them like her own, and made sure they were comfortable, happy, and well cared for the entire time. It’s not easy trusting someone with your pets, but Onika made the experience stress free and reassuring. We will definitely be using her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter.

Jacee is wonderful, I was very nervous about using an app with strangers to come into my home and watch my puppy. Jacee put my mind at ease and I’m SO grateful to have found her, she’s been such a help with checking in on our pup while I’m at work. If you’re looking for a trustworthy and punctual sitter, Jacee is the one!

Madison has made my work week so much easier and gives me so much peace of mind! I have two labs, one of whom was just a 2-month-old puppy when she first met him. I had struggled to find someone I truly trusted to care for them and love them the way I do, but Madison exceeded all my expectations. I feel completely comfortable leaving my dogs in her care. She’s clearly a big dog person and treats them like her own. She’s reliable, communicates well, and always keeps me updated. I truly can’t recommend her enough!

Destiny took amazing care of our two pets while we were away and made the whole trip so much less stressful. She’s always reliable, thoughtful, and it was such a huge help that she also brought in our packages. We’re so grateful for her help and would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

Rachel is AMAZING!! This was my first time leaving my babies with someone I didn’t know personally. So as you can imagine, I was very apprehensive. That said Rachel came for her visit to meet my babies. Meeting her in person put my fears at rest. She did an amazing job with our animals and I could tell she took great care of them and they really loved her too. I highly recommend her. She’s extremely reliable, does a great job, and is very kind and loving to my pets. I had booked her for three days coming into my home three times a day. At the last minute, I had to extend it a day and she was very accommodating and able to do that! Again, highly recommend her!
