“We love leaving koda with Ash! She’s always so well cared for and loved! Ash is always updating us about koda and letting us know how she’s doing while we’re away. She’s quick to respond and is great for last minute trips!”

“Mitchell is incredible. Not only was he super accommodating, with a fantastic home and environment for my puppy, but he was also consistently communicative, proactive, and most importantly amazing prepared and incredibly knowledgeable. From his overall demeanor and presence, to how he handles and treats not just my puppy but all the dogs he was caring for at the time, you can tell Mitchell knows what he’s doing and does it well. He was able to not just care for, but actually train and help cultivate an incredible environment for my puppy’s growth. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and he will be the only sitter I use moving forward after my first experience with him.”

“Monica was an A+ dog sitter for our girl Remi. We are always a little nervous when we leave her for more than one overnight and Monica had her for 5 days and we were never worried, our mind was at ease the whole time! Monica was always quick to respond, sent us daily updates, sometimes morning and night. I love that our dog is welcome in her home because Remi loves to snuggle and sleep on your pillow! Also, love the big backyard where she can run around leisurely and socialize with other friendly dogs. She was so wore out and content when we picked her up from all the playtime. I would highly recommend Monica, and can’t wait to book her again for our next outing!”

“We had a great experience with Zinnia! She took care of our dog, Phoenix, while we were out of town and made sure to send us plenty of photos, videos, and text updates. Her communication gave us so much peace of mind—we could tell Phoenix was in good hands. He came back home just as happy and well-adjusted as when we left, which speaks volumes about the care he received. We also appreciated the initial meet-and-greet she offered to make sure our dogs got along, which showed her thoughtfulness and professionalism. Zinnia is a lovely person and clearly passionate about what she does. If you’re looking for a dependable, caring sitter, we highly recommend her. 5 stars all the way—we’ll definitely book with her again!”

“Christian and Hana were very nice and took great care of my dog Oreo! I got daily updates and photos about how he was doing. They gave him lots of attention and he seemed very happy when I picked him up.”

“I had to fly in from Ohio to Pheonix for a business trip. Abby was amazing, she picked Singleton up from the airport, kept him overnight until late and returned him to me. She sent me pictures and updates and I felt comfortablethe whole time. I wish she lived in Ohio because I would use her everytime. You are amazing, amazing, amazing!”

“Diamond had a great time with Ezra and Reina. He bonded well with them and adjusted to the transition from house to house without any visible trauma. Thank you both for being such dedicated caregivers.”

“Reunited + iT Feels So Good! When I turned the corner onto Susan's street for our 2nd visit, my BLESSing, Mr. B., was EXCITED beyond words + couldn't wait to exit our SUV to run to Susan's building + her. Five months later + he recalled the exact door to enter her building. The purest FEELINGS ever for a parent when dropping off their furbaby! Susan + Justin are the kindest + sweetest JOYFUL caregivers who've fruitfully opened their lives + home to care for others' babies. They've thought of every LOVING detail + LOVE on my furbaby as if he's their very own Tater-Tot. To express I'm GRATEFUL for their passion, as illustrated in every shared conversation, detail, + photo, is an understatement. Whatever questions you may have about caring for your furbaby, don't hesitate to ask Susan; she's happy to share her in-depth knowledge. Another Perk: Chatting iT up about Southern CaLi + The Chi! ;) 1st Visit: Susan trimmed my baby's nails 2nd Visit: Shared Tater-Tot's shoes + lead Every Visit: My baby experiences LOVE as if he's with his favorite Auntie + Uncle. We LOVE U 3, Gifts from Heaven! Turner + Mr. B ;)”

“As always, Fanny is the best and the most gentle boarder for my baby boy! Love how much he enjoys going over there and enjoying some quality time with what he thinks is his second family.”

“I'm glad I found Hayley! She took good care of my fur baby when I needed to board her. She kept me up to date daily. Boarding is hard on my girl and I wanted her to have an environment that would feel as close to home as possible. Luna was happy and relaxed when I picked her up. I would highly recommend Hayley and will be using her again in the future.”

“Was very attentive to my comfortably and safety of my dog. She communicated well and gave updates. Was always a pleasure to speak to and understood Xena and I had some not so pleasant visits with a previous sitter, she reassured me that Xena was in good hands. Xena came back happy and healthy, full and played out. She had a good time and I would recommend this sitter to anyone in need of a safe place for a temporary stay. Great job”

“Rachel was wonderful and took fantastic care of my dog. She went above and beyond as my dog was having some tummy issues during her stay, I really appreciated everything she did and how she kept in touch with pictures and updates. I would absolutely recommend her.”

“Lauren is the absolute best! She’s been helping with my dogs for several years now and it’s always such a relief when she is available because I know they are going to be so loved and taken care of. Highly recommend her.”

“We had such a great experience with our dog sitter, Crystal! From start to finish, she went above and beyond to make sure our pups were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. We loved getting regular updates, photos, and little check-ins—it really gave us peace of mind while we were away. To top it off, Crystal even washed the dogs before we got home, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected touch. It’s clear she truly cares and treats your pets like her own. We came back to happy, clean, and relaxed dogs, which says everything. Highly recommend Crystal to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and attentive. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Very good eith LaVysh. Loved how she kept in touch and sent pics. I think LaVysh enjoyed herself with the other dogs. She is still adjusting to getting back home and not being herself but that may be bc she has never been away from us at all and for days but she’s starting to get back to herself. Appreciated StacyAnn’s efforts and ability to work with us to pick her up due to an unexpected car issue we had.”

“Dina was the right choice to care for my beloved Violet (cat). From the start of our interaction, she was very communicative and enthusiastic about boarding Violet in her home while I was out of town for 5 days. I had never boarded Violet in the past and it's safe to say that Dina made me feel comfortable right away. I received frequent updates and she made time to do live video calls at my request as well which gave me peace of mind in my absence. Most importantly, when I returned from my trip and retrieved Violet, she was safe and healthy. If you are considering boarding your cat with Dina, you have my highest recommendation based on my recent experience.”

About: I have grown up with pets of all shapes and sizes all my life. I helped raise a few puppies myself as well. I'm usually all my friends go to person to house sit and take care of their dogs. I'm the type of person who will keep your dog active, including taking them for walks, a fun run at the local dog park, a quick car ride for the occasional Puppuccino (if their diet allows for it), as well as to the local dog friendly brunch spot! I do work from home and have a super flexible schedule which makes it super easy to care for your pet. I have a sweet terrier mix of my own so I used to being around pets and understand what it takes to be a great pup parent! I have a dog of my own so I understand first hand the importance of pet care! I also walk my dog daily and understand the importance of keeping an active pet! I am with pets most of the day during the week since I work from home. I am very active with my dog as well as others so it's important to maintain an environment that is comfortable, safe, and present. I am happy to attend to any needs of all pets.
“So lucky to have found Chelsea. She takes great care of my cat Miso while I am away. Sends the best pics! She goes above and beyond (namely repotting a plant for me that my cat knocked over). Would recommend to anyone looking for a rover!”

“Nicole was fantastic! Took so many photos of playing and petting our kitty! We are so grateful for her loving on our sweet pet while away. Her booking questions made it easy and she was diligent!”

My home is best suited for dogs who thrive w/ individualized attention and a calm, well-maintained, and hygienic environment (two pup parents + a professionally trained small dog). I frequently care for puppies, senior dogs, dogs with special diets or allergies, and dogs who have unique behavioral or environmental preferences/sensitivities. . Whether your pup needs a customized routine, extra supervision, special accommodations, or simply lots of nurturing and pampering, I’ll provide patient and attentive, personalized care. Additionally, my communication will be professional, and follow-ups will be provided promptly. . I look forward to developing a special bond and doting on your beloved pet! . Note - To provide the healthiest environment for your pet and mine, I will provide proof of vaccinations/preventative medications, upon request. . tl;dr: You’ll notice that my profile is robust, which is intentional because 1) I want to ensure that I’m a good fit for your family and pet’s needs, and 2) It’s essential to have a thorough and holistic view of your pet to ensure you’ll have peace of mind and assurance while you’re away. . Experience: My entire life, I’ve gravitated to all creatures, big and small, and I finally have the opportunity to indulge my love of pets while helping others simultaneously! . My professional background in the corporate digital technology industry and 40+ years of personal experience caring for animals is rooted in growing up in a rural Midwestern farming community. My earliest memories consist of helping my parents train award-winning show and service dogs for people who have disabilities, raiding and showing Clydesdales, loving on my cats/kittens, and tending to countless aquatic and insect friends. Even though I’m allergic to all animals, except for dogs, you’d still find me surrounded by farm animals/livestock, obsessively studying and doting on my animal family and other cherished critters. . While living in Chicago, I volunteered at PAWS (the Midwest’s largest non-profit no-kill animal shelter). I consistently travel locally and cross-country to pet sit for friends and family and never pass up an opportunity to be in the company of the most precious and bestest boys/girls (of the animal species, that is). . Due to diligently catering to my pets, I have robust awareness and knowledge and am tremendously experienced with all aspects of a pet’s life, personality, and needs: puppies, seniors, rescues, special needs, terminal illness, parasitic/intestinal ailments, medications and administering subcutaneous fluid IVs (renal failure), food allergies, specialized diets/restrictions, treating other medical conditions, training, behavioral issues, and grooming/hygiene best practices. . About my pets: My sassy and exuberant silky terriers (RIP Miss Addi and now, 3 1/2 year-old Tater Tot) have been/are always by my side. Each moved interstate with us, living the city life in Chicago, then coastal Southern California, and now Phoenix. We’ve created countless joy-filled memories exploring and adventuring (road trips to national parks, vacationing in cities, visiting friends, dining out, extended sniff-patrol strolls, hiking in the mountains, camping, walks on the beach, kayaking, and boating). . Unfortunately, Miss Addi endured Cushing’s syndrome and started experiencing strokes and seizures. Shortly after moving to AZ, she was then diagnosed with terminal renal failure. We were determined and committed to giving her the most comfortable and best life possible. The final two years of her journey required around-the-clock monitoring, regimented medical interventions, and customized care. She lived a full life, we celebrated her 16th birthday and she chose to pass over the rainbow bridge later the same day. . A month later, Tater Tot joined our family. Though he has experienced his fair share of unexpected ailments at an early age, he is such a resilient, demure, and cheerful little fella! We love him to pieces; he is simply the best! . Further Context: I truly empathize and understand the level of decision-making that goes into finding trustworthy, quality care for your beloved companions. Since Rover’s inception, I’ve relied on its service model (as a consumer) due to limitations with traditional dog boarders, and it often wasn’t an ideal solution for my dog’s needs. While we’ve had extremely positive experiences with daycare/boarding facilities, we’ve also dealt with miscommunication, irresponsible and dangerous situations that resulted in stress-induced weight loss, neglect, behavioral issues, illness, and emergency vet visits. . With thorough vetting, Rover gave me peace of mind that my most precious family member’s well-being and special needs were prioritized while catering to my busy schedule and last-minute travel engagements. Rover allowed me to move seamlessly through the demands of life and was instrumental while transitioning to new cities. I am grateful for the Rover Petting community and their continued care for my fur babies throughout all phases of their lives. My schedule is flexible, and I am more than happy to work together on a mutually agreed upon routine and care plan for your pet. For short-term stays/overnight boarding at my residence, please consider the following. Household members: - My Partner works remotely. Same for Miss Addi. - Fully vaccinated, receives tic/flea guard and preventative heartworm medications - Tater Tot responds to basic commands, plays well with dogs, and acts politely around humans and other animals. He is highly adaptable in all environments, walks well on a leash, is comfortable on car rides, and is potty-pad/crate-trained. - We do not give our pets people food/snacks due to health/diet restrictions. However, let us know if your pups love partaking in human foods! Living conditions and details: - Secure 2,000 sq. ft. residence in a gated multi-unit living community - Single floor plan layout is kept clean and sanitary - Puppy-proofed (bedrooms can be gated off, and there's enough space for a small pen enclosure/crate in the living area) - There are two small balconies with 3 ft high railings. We would highly recommend David for anyone in the Phoenix area, or just needing a day out while visiting. Thanks so much David!! 🐶🥰”

The 2nd day when she got out of car she ran up to the door and couldn’t wait to dart in not even looking back at me. I got several updates & photos throughout the day. Will be booking with Christian & Hana again!”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, and caring for them truly comes naturally to me. I had a 106 lb German Shepherd for 8 years, and during that time I received professional training so I could properly train and care for her, giving me a strong foundation in structure, behavior, and handling larger breeds. Most recently, I lived in a home with four pets (both cats and dogs), where I helped manage daily care, routines, and lots of love and attention. I’ve also fostered animals, which has taught me patience, adaptability, and how to help pets feel safe and comfortable in new environments. What sets me apart is my ability to balance structure with affection—I’m attentive, intuitive to each pet’s needs, and experienced with different personalities, from playful and energetic to calm or senior pets who need a gentler approach. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or simply providing a calm, loving presence, I treat every pet like they’re my own. I work from home part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive, consistent care. Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine—whether that’s walks, playtime, feedings, or cuddle sessions. I bring a calm, “pet concierge” approach to every visit, keeping routines smooth, spaces clean, and pets happy. From energetic dogs who love activity to cats who prefer a more relaxed, on-their-terms vibe, I tailor my care to each pet’s personality—making sure they feel safe, loved, and just a little bit spoiled. Safety and trust are always my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I create a calm, clean, and secure environment where they can feel comfortable and at ease. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of your space and your pet’s routine—keeping feeding schedules, walks, litter care, and any specific instructions consistent. I pay close attention to details, from securely locking doors to ensuring pets are always supervised and safe. In my home, pets are welcomed into a peaceful, pet-friendly environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and cozy spots to relax. I’m mindful of introductions, boundaries, and maintaining a stress-free atmosphere for every pet. I take a thoughtful, attentive approach—reading each pet’s behavior, keeping a watchful eye, and providing updates so you feel confident and connected while you’re away. My goal is for you to feel complete peace of mind, knowing your pet is safe, loved, and in very good hands.

“Craig is awesome! He is very communicative and my little Bailey seems to enjoy all of her walks with him. He also provides great feedback in the reports :) totally recommend him for all your dog walking needs!”

About: Hi, I’m Hilary! I am a healthcare worker and animal lover who will make sure your pet isn’t missing out on any fun or cuddles while you’re away. My goal is to put your mind at ease with a dependable, consistent schedule and frequent updates. A little about me - I’ve lived with pets my whole life and I’m currently a proud mom to two rescue kittens. I feel comfortable working with cats and small to medium/large dogs of all ages, with a variety of medical conditions. My experience ranges from caring for kittens and puppies to senior cats and dogs, including pets with special diets and disabilities. I am open to any breed of dog and have especially extensive experience with chihuahuas and golden retrievers. I am available for walks, hikes, play time, overnight stays at your house, or quick check-ins. I’d love to get to know you and your pet, so feel free to message me with any questions! My house sitting rates include walks and cover up to 16 hours of care. Constant care of up to 24 hours is charged at an additional 50% of the nightly rate. Starting July 1st, my availability will be limited to weekends, and overnights only during the week as I will no longer be able to drop ins and walks between 8AM and 6PM Monday through Friday. I will review your safety concerns and protocols prior to any assignment, including any doors, stairs, and gates in your house, any use of crate, and any harness or leash used for outdoor activities.

“very great with communication and Betty adored her. She was running late due to traffic but let me know ahead of time. we definitely will be using her again.”

“Sherry has been great with my pitbull. Pepper can be reactive & has alot of energy for a 10 yo dog & Sherry handles her great (even runs some of her energy out when needed) Sherry is also quick to respond, which is helpful because I tend to book last minute. Thank You Sherry!”

“Anna has been coming by for check ins and walks for several months now. She ensures that my dog gets some good quality time during the day and she worked in getting my shy dog comfortable taking longer walks around the neighborhood when the weather is nice!”

“Our dog Rainer enjoyed his stay with Meg and Paulo. They were great helping him ease his anxiety the first day and he had lots of fun socializing with their pups the rest of the stay. We would book with Meg and Paulo again”

“My two rambunctious dogs had a great time. Sara noticed their stools were too soft and asked if she could give them chicken and rice. Hit the spot. Loved the daily updates, pics and videos. So easy to work with.”

“Brandy was great with my dog, charlie. She had lots of walks and cuddles. Brandy was responsive and updated me with pictures during the stay. Always a sign of a good time when your dog sleeps the whole evening after being picked up. Would definitely book again!”

“David was so great to Rudy & Leahy. He communicated well, took phenomenal care of them (multiple walks daily) and gave them all the puppy love! I will request David to watch them every time moving forward. He is a great guy who cares about your animals like they are his own.”

“Brooke and her family were wonderful! They communicated well, sent photos, and overall great hosts for Remy. Would definitely book again and recommend!”

“Haniyeh was wonderful! Excellent communication and very kind. She sent me so many pictures and kept me updated for the day and a half stay that Arya had. She was very patient with her initial timidity and gave her the time she needed to warm up and get comfy. Arya especially bonded with Haniyeh’s dog Chaos and seeing the picture of them snuggled up together made me so happy. Arya kept trying to pull back to Haniyeh when we were leaving - that’s how I knew she enjoyed herself so much! Will absolutely book her again.”

“We love having Kayla watch our senior kitty, Oberon for us when we're away. She takes excellent care of him and with each visit he's been letting his personality show a little bit more, so we know he likes and trusts her too!”
“Ollie loved his time with Dawn and Andrew! It was probably the best week of his life actually. They sent pictures and videos daily, and took care of him as if he was their own. Highly recommend.”
