“Bonita was such a treasure of a find. I was so anxious about leaving our little Bodi at a boarding facility. No matter how hard I looked, I could not find one that met all my desires for our dog. I wanted, so badly, for him to feel safe and comfortable, attended to and at home. I finally came across Rover online. This was our first time using Rover and Bonita was absolutely amazing. Her home is such a warm and inviting place and so safe for dogs to stay. Bonita does some volunteer work but is retired and spends much of her time at home. So she is able to be very attentive to the dogs throughout the day. She was intentional about being at her home the day when we dropped Bodi off just so that she could help him feel acclimated to his new vacation home. Bonita sent pictures and updates while we were away (for a week), which gave us such a peace and joy to know he was happy and cared for so exceptionally. I would absolutely recommend Bonita to anyone looking for an amazing care lodging for your pet while you’re out of town for either a short or long-term stay. I would encourage you to consider leaving a tip, because her prices and service simply can NOT be matched. ???”

About: Growing up, we had 4 cats and a dog in the house! About: Ever since I was very young, I've always taken care of my family members cats. When they were away on vacation, I would walk over to their house and feed, water and play with them. I have even volunteered at shelters where they house cats that need new homes. Now that I'm older, I have quite a bit more experience. I have worked at a pet boarding facility for 3 years where I have taken care of many cats and kittens that would come in and stay overnight, giving them tender love and care while their family was away. Even though I don't work there anymore, I still tend and care for my Friends cats when they are gone, and always make sure they are happy and healthy.

About: Hi There! We have a 3 year old daughter and a 3 years old golden doodle. I’d love to have your dog over for day care or overnights while you travel. I work from home, we have a nice little yard and I am a dog person through and through. I had a dog for 14 yrs that passed in 2020 who was a shelter rescue with fear aggression. I learned a lot in that lifetime about reading a dogs body language and anticipating their needs. My doodle is extremely friendly and loves other dogs. I will need to be pretty restrictive about dog temperament for pups that stay with us bc of my toddler; I can only watch dogs that are known to be good with small children. I understand this is very limiting. I’m doing this more for the love of dogs than as a job. I appreciate your understanding if this just isn’t a fit due to our needs. I have experience training puppies and caring for seniors. I work from home and take my guy out for a walk most afternoons. I am mostly available. I am extremely reliable, if I commit to watching your pup, I will not let you down. We have a 3yr old golden doodle and a 3yr old human toddler. We have a secure fenced yard with no pool. I am home 90% of the time : )

About: There was always an assortment of pets in the house growing up. We had several pit bulls over the years, an Aussie, and at one point 4 cats alongside him. We’ve even raised a couple of bunnies and pet mice I just couldn’t turn away from! I’ve done lots of basic puppy training and even taught my cat a few tricks. Living in an apartment at one point also entailed LOTS of walks and trips to the dog park. I’m not one to turn away from a lost animal, so I’ve rescued and returned a few pups over the years as well! In addition to my own pets, I’ve house sat and cared for the pets of work clients, helped out with neighbors, and family friends pets too. I have plenty of experience with larger breeds but I love little paws too! I currently work part time while I'm working on my business on the side which is on my own time so I'm very flexible! I love to walk in the mornings and evenings, and my longest shift on Fridays is usually 5 hours. My regular work hours: M: 9:30-1:30 T: none W: 9:30-2 Th: none F: 10-3 S: 8-11 S: none I do not offer boarding at this time, but I will be sure to follow whatever guidelines you may leave according to your pet's personal needs. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8. I used to have a miniature Schnauzer and I always went over to my neighbor’s homes to care for their pets when they were out of town. I currently work 8-4 with a flexible work from home schedule and everyday I walk around my complex as exercise. My complex contains multiple dog parks so adding some company to it sounds like fun. Always approach the pet with calm and respect where ever they are. As a student with a flexible schedule, I’m able to dedicate quality time and attention to the pets I care for. I enjoy staying active, so dog walking and playtime easily fit into my daily routine. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, in-home sitting, and pet sitting throughout the week, and I always make sure pets receive plenty of exercise, attention, and care while their owners are away. I’m available all days of the week! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and needs so they feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible! I’m attentive, responsible, and make sure pets are supervised, secure, and well cared for during walks, visits, and sitting. About: Reliable drop-ins and responsible house-sitting are my specialty! In my tenure as a Rover sitter, I've kept dogs safe through a hurricane, administered meds, wrangled a pair of giant St. Bernards, entertained a herd of Chihuahuas ... so many memories. I understand it's hard to leave your dog (and maybe cat, fish, lizard, houseplant, etc) in someone else's care while you're away, and I give both you and your dog assurance that everything is as it should be. I try to keep things as normal for your dog(s) as possible, so I meet with each dog owner to discuss the details of care and what needs to be done around the house. It's as simple as following the golden rule.

About: Hey! I have grown up with dogs since the day I was born and have loved them since. I am a registered nurse at Brenner Children’s hospital but recently took a step back to be a stay at home mom to my 11 month old daughter. I am only working a few shifts a month at the hospital so I have lots of free time to help out with your pets needs. I always find it stressful when it comes to boarding my dog so a few years ago I found rover and it was been amazing for our sweet dog, Izzy. Now that I stay home, I thought it would be great to be a blessing to other families and their fur babies. Izzy is a 7 year old miniature schnauzer who loves walks, treats and lots of snuggles. She gets along well with other days and is the best big sister to our 11 month old daughter. I look forward to talking more about ways I can help you and your dog whether it’s letting them out, going on a walk to break up a long work day or boarding in our home. I am home everyday of the week with my daughter and dog, Izzy. We go on daily walks and we have a fenced in back & front yard. I can let your dog out as often as you need! I have a fenced in yard with space for your dog to play outside. I also have a downstairs area with a crate if needed.
About: I have had pets in my life from dogs, cats, turtles, guinea pigs, snakes, etc, ever since I was born so I know what it takes to be a loving care taker. I am a work from home warrior, so I can spend quality time with you pet any day of the week. If your pup is up for it, on the weekends I’ll even take her for hikes on a trail right behind my apartment. I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and am grateful for every new pet I get to meet! I live in an apartment complex that has plenty of green boughs and hiking trails close by! When I am dog sitting, I typically take the dog out at least every hour or every other hour. A typical day would include watching a movie with your dog and taking her out on many walks throughout the day.
