About: EXPERIENCE - We've had a variety of pets over the last 25+ years, including dogs, cats, chickens, lovebirds, fish, and tortoises! Right now we have two snuggly 5-year-old pups plus a kitty that hides in a bedroom when she doesn't want to hang out with the dogs. :) We've been pet sitting regularly for friends and family for the last 7+ years. MEET & GREET - We require a brief meet & greet in our front yard before all bookings, to ensure your pet and our pets are a great fit. Thanks for understanding. CRATE TRAINED ONLY - We crate or corral visiting dogs at night and when no one is home to supervise interactions. They must already be crate trained so this feels comfortable and not stressful for them. :) BEHAVIOR - Please only request stays for dogs that are well behaved since we have a big family and plenty going on. All dogs must be friendly with other dogs and with children, and must not attack cats (our daughter's cat generally stays out of the way, but some dogs are intent on hunting her down). We cannot accept requests from high energy dogs at this time. NOT AVAILABLE FOR - Sorry, we don't take pit bulls or huskies. We had a bad experience with a pit, and one of our kids is very allergic to huskies. FUN FACT - We prioritize using non-toxic products for home and personal care. There are no chemical fragrances or toxic cleaners in our home, which could irritate your pet's skin or lungs. SCHEDULE - I'm a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu self-defense instructor with a flexible schedule, so I'm home a lot (typically gone 2 - 4 hours a day for classes). AROUND THE HOUSE - All pups run free in the house when we're home. We have a block fence around our backyard, and a locked alley gate. FURNITURE - Dogs are only allowed on beds/sofas when invited. The exception is a special chair that looks out to the street. It's a favorite perch! See pics under Ollie & Paisley's profiles. :) Even dogs that are used to being on the furniture tend to adjust quickly to these limitations when somewhere else. CRATE TRAINED ONLY - **For safety, we crate visiting dogs at night and when no one is not home to supervise interactions. About: I have been a nurse for 10 years. I am currently working 3 days a week and wishing I was hanging out with dogs the other 4. I'm here to fix that. I will treat them just as good as all of my patients :D My work schedule is a little variable. But I'm usually available 4 days out of the week to hang out with pups. About: Have you ever had/been to a party where you see a person interacting with only the animals? Im that person I love to get to know individuals and their pets. I grew up on a farm and I spent a lot of time with our animals. I wanna open my schedule up as well to where I am not stuck in a job. My current animals consist of two beardies. 1 pitbull (Rouca) 1 mix little dog (Mano) my little dog has diabetes and I want to be the best dog parent I can be while I still have her eyesight is not the greatest and it breaks my heart but making time and taking better care of her is something I hope to accomplish with managing my time on here Flexibility is a big thing for me. As long as I can manage my time routine times of giving my pup her insulin at 4am and 4pm I am golden. I have a fenced yard but we do have a pool I myself know my dogs are good swimmers I have worked with them on what to do if they fall in. I still do not leave them unattended outside. Clean ups is done by me so if an accident was to arise I would the steps necessary to remove the animal and clean up. Case by case and willing to listen to your pet needs

I have to say that Katherine exceeded my expectations - it was fairly easy to book her services, and she was in constant communication and updates about my dog during my absence. Her house and backyard are clean, I noticed the availability of drinking water around the house for the dogs - inside and outside. She even have a couch we're they can sleep if they want to. I recommend Katherine if you need a pet sitter.”

I could tell that Callie quickly integrated into Stacy’s family, thanks to the loving and welcoming environment. It even appeared that although Callie was happy to see me and be back by my side when I picked her up, that she was simultaneously disappointed to have left Stacy and her family. I honestly could not have asked for a better sitter for my dog. She will definitely be my go to next time I am looking for someone to watch Callie girl.”
