About: I have always grown up with pets in my household, specifically young dogs and old dogs! About: I have had 5 cats over my whole life, since age 7! Experience (chronological) of 7 months in an animal shelter volunteering (halted due to an emergency move, then the facility changed to S&N / vaccination services exclusively), 3 months full time in a pet resort, and 2 months professionally & full time in another animal shelter. I have more experience/specific knowledge when it comes to cats and their behaviors, but I am also comfortable and have had experience with dogs (doggy daycare, individual playtimes, walks, as well as feedings!) Cleaning & sanitation was also a major factor in safety when working with animals. They have 24/7 access to filtered water, 3-4 separate feeding times with a real meat & kibble mix (warmed meal,) and at least 15 minutes of full undivided attention playtime a day (doesn’t count the hours of loving on them!) Cat litter boxes are sifted daily, often twice when I can. Litter replacement every 2 weeks, Full washes every month! Whatever is asked for & beyond (unless asked otherwise!). Supervision is vital to how I care for animals, and will always be a top priority especially when it comes to outdoors. Routines and schedules are important to me as well and never skipped.
