“We did a meet and greet before Mayra's first stop-in for our dog, but it probably would have been good to actually let her walk the dog in our presence before we left town. Just to let them get better aquainted. The first time she tried to enter the house, our dog barked and growled until my daughter came over to calm down the dog. Once rapport was built, Maya had no trouble with the dog, a 65-pound, gregarious Goldendoodle that barked a lot initially... and then wanted to be her lap dog. Mayra was faithful in showing up and walking our dog every day. I'd recommend her to anyone needing a dog sitter, especially those of a calmer nature.”

About: I have been a nurse for 10 years. I am currently working 3 days a week and wishing I was hanging out with dogs the other 4. I'm here to fix that. I will treat them just as good as all of my patients :D My work schedule is a little variable. But I'm usually available 4 days out of the week to hang out with pups. My current availability should be updated on the calendar. My fun dog loving wife is also typically available for potty breaks and cuddles I have a clean townhome, though it can feel a bit small sometimes. The townhome is two floors with stairs and windows for the dogs to look outside!

About: I am a K-2 math teacher and love to take care of dogs and humans! I have been pet sitting neighbors dogs for 2 years and have always loved just being with them and playing or giving belly rubs when they are all tired and ready to sleep. Since I am a teacher, I have the summer to enjoy all these animals and take care of them and playing with them till they are ready to end the day! About: I’ve lived with multiple cats and dogs my whole life. I have administered shots to dogs and cats for a few years on separate occassions. I currently own a cat! I work from home for most of the week so my schedule is flexible. I often help family members and friends with watching their pets when they take vacations. I also own a cat and live with 2 dogs, I enjoy being around animals always! For my pets I always have fresh water available and have them all on eating schedules. If I will be away from home for an extended time I leave extra food and an extra bowl with water for my cat and always have a friend or family member stop by to check on the pets or stay overnight, especially during these hot Phoenix summers! Also take the dogs on as many walks as I can when the weather is nice and safe enough!
