“This was our first daycare experience and Jennifer was absolutely wonderful. She checked in frequently throughout the day and sent picture updates. Macy usually has a little anxiety in new situations but Jennifer put her so at ease, there was none. Thank you for giving Macy such a exceptional experience!”

“David was absolutely amazing with our lab puppy! He treated our dog like his own and kept us updated throughout the day with how he was doing. Our pup came home happy and tired from a day full of play :) We will definitely be using him again in the near future!”

“Five stars. Katherine did a fantastic job watching my rescue dog, Qi. I am impressed with Katherine’s professionalism and sensitivity. This was my first time leaving Qi with a sitter. I was nervous at first, but Katherine’s responsiveness put me at ease. Qi came home happy, and actually looked for her after drop off. Thank you for the wonderful service. I will trust my dog with you again!”

“Christina took great care of my 5 month old pup and provided him with a fun and active day! He was so smiley at pick up. Christina is very communicative, kind and definitely goes the extra mile to show care for all dogs. Super thankful for his stay at Christina’s home!”

“We couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter! Our dog loves huskies, and Joanna happens to have one of the sweetest. Joanna took them on a lovely hike through the wildflowers blooming, tons of couch snuggles, and plenty of toys to choose from. Will definitely book with her again. Thank you for taking such good care of our pupper and providing him a safe space and being attentive about his medical needs.”

“Carmen, was so sweet and kind. My dog Peanut was nervous but loved going to see her. I highly recommend using her she is a comfort home for your pet. Great communicator will be using again in the future.”

About: Hi! 👋🏻 My name is Olivia, I’ve been with the Rover community for about 4 years now, but Happy Dog House Calls is where it all started. I joined the Rover community to meet new families who might need my pet sitting/house sitting services! I work with a wide variety of pets, not limited to just dogs and cats. I welcome most pets, including farm animals and complete farm care, as well as trained service animals. I'm more than happy to care for all of your furry or not so furry family members! I have a regular clientele of pets who have special needs, pets who experience anxiety or separation anxiety, some who are deaf or blind, others who are elderly, have injuries or health issues. These special needs sweethearts are always welcome on my schedule. My entire life I’ve had a passion for animals, so much so I’ve made it my career. I mean, who doesn’t want to spend all their time with animals!? I'm looking for opportunities to fulfill my passion, this is where you and your family come in! Upon scheduling, I will request a “Meet & Greet” at your home, which is required before any services are rendered. This gives your pet and I the opportunity to meet and get to know each other, this also lets your baby get familiar with my scent so I’m not a stranger entering your home. During this time we will go over your pets routine, any rules (whether they rule the house or you do, I’m here for it all), you can also show me around your home and go over any special instructions or medications. This is the ideal time to give me a key or code to enter (should we decide to work together). This visit is of course no charge. A little bit about each service: Walks- 30 min walk. Your choice of leisure walks with lots of sniffing and exploring (your dogs version of reading the morning news paper or as I call it, checking “Peemails”) or focused, brisk walks for exercise and winding down. Please have a leash and harness or collar, that fits correctly with no rips or tears. *Clients who are seeking my walking services, once the temperature reaches 84° I will not be available for walks, unless the morning or evening temp is at or under 84°, which I can walk with them then. The asphalt is too hot and heat stroke is a risk at that temperature. Exceptions are made for potty walks as long as there is shade. Drop-in Visits- 30 minute visit includes: Playtime, snuggles, feeding, medication administration, walking, potty breaks and treats. House sitting- 3 different options to choose from (please include which option will work best with your family in the initial booking request): Option 1. Overnight only- $150 1st dog (Additional dog $25): Arriving at your home around 9pm (8pm available) staying the night until around 6am the next morning. Includes plant watering, bringing in the mail, putting trash cans out and some other household duties. Option 2. Overnight with a mid day drop-in- $175 1st dog (Additional dog $25): Includes all of option 1, plus a drop-in visit midday for potty breaks, play and snuggles. Option 3. Daytime & Overnight stay- $250 1st dog (Additional dog $25): Includes all of options 1 & 2, plus coming and going throughout the rest of the day. *For Rover Holiday dates & puppy care, inquire about pricing ‼️Please include which house sitting option you’d like in your initial booking request‼️ I am available full time, early mornings, mid-days, late nights, even overnight stays, any length of stay, be it one day or 6 months long, this is my only job, allowing me to cater to you and your pets needs. I am willing to be as flexible as possible to make your time away from your pets 110% stress free for all of you. My availability is wide open, including most holidays (book early as these dates fill up fast) and some last minute requests. Same day bookings are available for walks and drop-ins, I typically require a 7 day notice for all bookings, but life can be unpredictable, so I offer same day bookings for an extra charge. Same day bookings are an additional $5. you will see this as an "Additional Charge" on your Rover invoice. ‼️THE ROVER APP HAS A GLITCH, THEIR CALENDAR FOR ME IS NOT CORRECT, PLEASE SEND A REQUEST EVEN IF IT SAYS THAT I AM UNAVAILABLE, AS I AM MOST LIKELY AVAILABLE‼️ I am also able to travel with you and your pet family for any vacation needs. I can drive your pets should flying not be an option. Please inquire further for this service. Safety always comes first. Absolutely trust that all of my attention will be on your pets for the entirety of the stay. This gives me the opportunity to give you a detailed update on your pets during our visit (I will write these updates during the visit, as well as taking pictures). Each visit I will send over the 4-6 photos I took of each pet as well as the detailed update I wrote. Your home as well as your pets, will be treated with the utmost respect, I will treat them like they are my own. I’m very cautious of making sure gates, pool gates and locks are always secured for your pet and homes safety. Speaking of safety, security cameras are not just acceptable, they are encouraged, for your piece of mind as well as in case of an emergency, typically I can be to your home within minutes if you see something concerning.
“Marina took great care of our puppy Boston for the day and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was communicative, attentive, and clearly very comfortable around dogs. Boston came home happy, tired, and well cared for — always a great sign. You can tell Marina genuinely enjoys spending time with the dogs she watches and gives them plenty of attention and activity. We really appreciated the peace of mind knowing Boston was in good hands. Would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend Marina to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.”

About: My husband and I had animals in our homes growing up. Currently we have a senior cat who keeps to herself. Our family would love to walk, feed, and care for your dog. We will provide lots of attention and cuddles. I am a stay at home mom, my husband works from home part-time, and our two daughters are homeschooled. We are able to be around the home often. We have a fenced in yard with lots of space to run and play. We will happily follow instructions for crating the dog when we are away from home. Our girls are home 3 days a week plus the weekends and are looking forward to helping to care for your dog.

“With my lab being raised with cats, I wasn't sure how'd she do with other dogs. She did great! The owners of this option are mindful, courteous and very caring. Give stars. If I could I'd tip them a lot.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets of all kinds since I was young. My first job as a teenager was working in the PetSmart pets hotel, and I’ve since pet sat for friends, family, and co-workers. I’ve even been recommended to others by friends! I have experience with a wide variety of dogs and, having a special needs dog myself, can handle any sort of special treatment your furry friends may need. I’m currently working part-time and from home. I have the flexibility to make my own hours, so I can easily accompany your needs (and your pets) into my schedule. I have a fenced in yard and one dog who is very mellow and relaxed- the perfect companion for any personality. For walks, I’m close to quiet, safe, and lightly trafficked streets.
“Truly, the best sitter ever and this is coming from a first time Rover user was very nervous, but felt that this was the right place for dolce tons of updates and they have beautiful dogs truly thankful”

“Super great place for Sami to hang out. Feel he’s well cared for as temps raise. Just “chillin” with other dogs. Nadia is great with communication and flexibility.”

“Thank you, Leann! She was so good with Charlie, was kind and attentive to Charlie's needs. She was great about being open to scheduling changes and walked charlie 2-3x a day :)”

“Jessica took on my girl last minute. I had to drop her off early and she was up, ready to go! It sounds like she got lots of walks and play time with her golden. I have a hard time leaving my dog and Jessica did a great job keeping me at ease. Thank you so much!”

About: I've had a dog every year of my life. I attended 4 different classes over the years to learn more about training, types of dog breeds and porper food sources. I'm available from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 unless it is an overnight stay. I retired early and this is just an opportunity to make a little money and just love dogs. I live in a gated community with a large park here in Arcadia. Very pet friendly. I'm 6' 185 pounds and train 5 days a week. There will be no isssues handling large breeds.
About: We've had a variety of pets over the last 25+ years, including dogs, cats, chickens, lovebirds, fish, and tortoises! Right now we have two lively and snuggly pups, 4 years old, plus 2 cats that make themselves scarce when they don't want to hang out with the dogs. ;) We've been pet sitting regularly for friends and family for the last 7+ years. Meet & Greet - We require a brief meet & greet in our front yard before all bookings, to ensure your pet and our pets are a great fit. Thanks for understanding! IMPORTANT - We crate or corral visiting dogs when no one is home to supervise interactions. They must already be crate trained so this feels comfortable and not stressful for them. Please only request stays for dogs that are well behaved, since we have a big family and plenty going on. All dogs must be friendly with other dogs and with children, and must not attack cats (our kids' cats generally stay out of the way, but some dogs are intent on hunting them down). ***Sorry, we don't take pit bulls or huskies. We had a bad experience with a pit, and one of our kids is very allergic to huskies.*** Fun Fact - We prioritize using non-toxic products for home and personal care. There are no chemical fragrances or toxic cleaners in our home, which could irritate your pet's skin or lungs. ***Please scroll down to see other important profile info. Thank you! :) *** I'm a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu self-defense instructor with a flexible schedule, so I'm home a lot (typically gone 2 - 4 hours a day for classes). We have a big family, so there is usually someone else home with the dogs if I'm away. All pups run free in the house when we're home. We have a block fence around our backyard, and a locked alley gate. Dogs are only allowed on beds/furniture when invited. The exception is a special chair that looks out to the street. It's a favorite perch! See pics under Ollie & Paisley's profiles. :) Even dogs that are used to being on the furniture tend to adjust quickly to these limitations when somewhere else. **For safety, we crate visiting dogs when no one is not home to supervise interactions, so they must already be crate trained so this feels comfortable and not stressful for them.**
“Beth & Brock have been absolutely wonderful for my two dogs, Squirt and Ginger, at doggy daycare! Right away, they made us feel welcome and showed just how much they adore dogs. Their spacious, secure backyard provides plenty of room for the dogs to run, play, and have a great time. Their dog, Sully, is not only adorable but also playful and friendly, making the environment even more fun. Throughout the day, we received plenty of text updates with pictures and videos, which gave us peace of mind and let us see just how much fun our dogs were having. Beth & Brock truly create a safe, loving space where my dogs feel comfortable and happy. I couldn’t be more impressed!”

RJ was fantastic with our dog. She listened to his needs and unique quirks. She showed genuine care for him, treating him as if he were her own. She even sewed his beloved toy back together, ensuring he could enjoy it for a longer time. Throughout our long hours, she remained in constant contact and was flexible. We truly appreciate her exceptional care and will definitely book her services again when we visit town next time.

Avery was awesome! Very friendly and loves the dogs! This was the first time we left pups with someone other than family. Avery sent regular updates and photos. The pups loved her! Thank you again! Definitely recommend Avery to watch your furry friends. When we pass through Phoenix again, will contact Avery again!!

Jamie was incredibly warm, kind, and attentive to detail when caring for our senior pup, Maple. She was sure to greet her slowly and introduce her to her own dogs with a seamless transition as our girl is anxious. We got plenty of updates and photos which we so deeply appreciated. We genuinely felt like Jamie cared for our Maple like she was one of our own and are very pleased that we may not only have found a regular but a number one to add to our roster of sitters! Thanks again girlie 🫶🏼
