Pet care experience

Love, Work@Home, Airport Proximity

I have a deep love for animals and have 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 guinea pigs. I have extensive experience with dog rescues and worked for Onslow County Animal Control (NC), have a clear understanding of dog behavior, and can adjust my style to meet their needs. Information to Help You Decide: * THE PACK: Your dog must be able to get along in a pack environment. They will be mixed with my dogs and probably a private client of mine. Please make sure your dog can be part of our pack, because if not their stay is miserable. If you have any concerns about this you should not board them here. * HEALTH: Your dog should be fully vaccinated, including kennel cough, and be on a flea/tick preventative before boarding them anywhere, including here. Lots of animals come through my property, and this will ensure everyone's safety. My dogs are both fully vaccinated and on Bravecto Chews for fleas/ticks. I also hire a professional exterminator to come out once a month and spray for pests, including a flea/tick service. * I have a spayed female Golden Retriever who is submissive and gets along easily, and a neutered male Chihuahua who is spicy but finds his place in the pack. My cat is not afraid of dogs, but I usually keep him separated. The guinea pigs are separated in a room with a closed door (always). * My home has: fenced yard, dogs doors, swimming pool, all sizes of crates, and is 3.8 miles from PHX Sky Harbor Airport (24th St + Thomas Rd). * Pets will have access to my furniture, my bed, and swim if they like. My pool is NOT fenced, but I can make adjustments with the dog doors if needed. * I am home most of the time, but your pet(s) need to be 'ok' with being home alone for short periods of time (3hrs or less). * Items to bring: Food and any comfort items like their bed or favorite blanket. * Items NOT to bring: In general, I do not feed treats or use your dog's toys. This is because it can trigger resource protection, over excitement, and can quickly turn into a spat. I do have a large selection of toys, and most dogs are happy to pick through my basket and find a new, fun item for their stay. You do not need to bring your crate; I have one they can use. * Allergies: Please let me know if your dog has any food allergies. If they are having trouble eating, which is normal for the first day or so, I will add a topping to their food so they will eat. Often it is a couple small pieces of hot dog or ground meat (not chicken).

StacyAnn was absolutely amazing with my three dogs for the first time! She took such great care of them while I was out of town and I could tell they had an incredible time. They loved swimming in her pool! She gave me peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. I highly recommend StacyAnn to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy dog sitter. We'll definitely be booking with her again! 10/10! 💙

Stacy is such a great and attentive dog sitter! Hershey is totally spoiled by her and sometimes I think he is sad to return home. He loves the attention and play time with his 4 legged friends.
