“Marisa was amazing with our baby. It was her first time at doggie daycare and first time staying with someone who was not family. Marisa sent lots of updates and photos throughout the day which eased our minds and made us smile. Gracie looked like she was having the time of her life, I was afraid she wouldn’t want to come home! Thank you Marisa for taking such great care of, and loving on, Gracie while she was in your care. We are so thankful for you!”

“We are very happy with Dawn and Andrew how they made our fur baby part of themself and take care of him as their own pet, my fur baby loves visiting them ,its a fun place for him and he enjoys the time with the family .”

“How's always a great couple? They are amazing with Patterson. They take such good care of him. Me is starting to get excited when he sees them. Couldn't ask for a better couple to take care of my baby”

“She did SO well with my dog, who's sort of skittish. By the end of a few hours they were best buddies, and at the beginning she was all freaked out because I was leaving her. Amazing sitter!”

“Sara is fantastic! I was nervous about leaving my puppy with anyone, Sarah put me and my puppy at ease. You can tell she really cares about all dogs! She provides regular updates throughout the day and is very thoughtful about how to match dogs with the appropriate playmate or playgroup!”

“Evan is a professional, knowledgeable, extremely kind human being that has eased all of my worry and concern for my first time leaving my babies for an extended trip. So grateful to have found him and his excellent care! Thank you so much Evan”

About: I have experience with senior dogs, puppies, and doggies of all ages. I have done extensive training with my own personal dogs. I have built trust, broken bad habits, and gained confidence in pets that have come from troubled past. I understand breeds and their needs. Not all dogs are created equal. Sometimes mental stimulation goes a longer way than a simple walk. I take pride in knowing and understanding each pet. I’m currently 1099 and have free range to do whatever I can usually do last minute as long as I can verify that it works with my already confirmed schedule. I can be flexible…sometimes. I keep communication clear. At this time I have had up to 6 dogs inside my home without any issues. I have a pet safe yard which means no harmful plants of chemicals.
“Kristin was great! I needed a dog sitter on very short notice and Kristin was prompt in replying and agreeing to watch my dog. She provided a nice calm and quiet home for my anxious dog. I definitely recommend Kristin as a dog sitter!”

About: I've never not had a dog. I grew up in a home where dogs were bred and raised, and I've owned dogs my entire life. Right now I have five of my own two German Shepherds, a Mini Poodle, a Yorkie, and a Lab all social, all part of a daily routine that already runs like clockwork. Beyond personal experience, I've spent 6 years doing ABA therapy working directly with extreme behavioral cases. I own a behavioral health company. That background means I don't just love dogs I understand behavior, I recognize triggers before they escalate, and I know how to manage a structured environment where multiple animals with different temperaments coexist safely. That's not something most sitters can say. I'm home all day, every day. This isn't a side job I fit around a schedule. My goal is to make this my full time work, which means your dog gets the same attention mine do all day, not just morning and evening. I'm home full time. Pet care isn't something I fit into my schedule, it is my schedule. Your dog has my attention throughout the entire day. My home is set up specifically for dog care with three distinct spaces, a dedicated dog room, an outdoor kennel run with shade, and a large fenced yard for exercise and play. Dogs are never mixed unsupervised. I manage introductions carefully and separate when needed based on temperament, not just size. The pool area is accessible but all dogs outside my own are directly supervised near it at all times. I take that seriously. I accept dogs of any size. Breed is never a disqualifier, temperament is the only thing that matters to me. I do not accept puppies under one year or dogs with a history of unprovoked aggression toward people.
“Ben and Zane took such good care of Darcy for daycare. They started slow with the introductions, ensured all dogs were safe and happy, and sent so many adorable photos and videos to show Darcy was having a wonderful time! After the meet and greet Darcy was already bouncing in the car when we pulled up for the day. They were easy to communicate with and take all the necessary precautions to ensure his safety Darcy will definitely be back!”

About: Hi! 👋🏻 My name is Olivia, I’ve been with the Rover community for about 4 years now, but Happy Dog House Calls is where it all started. I joined the Rover community to meet new families who might need my pet sitting/house sitting services! I work with a wide variety of pets, not limited to just dogs and cats. I welcome most pets, including farm animals and complete farm care, as well as trained service animals. I'm more than happy to care for all of your furry or not so furry family members! I have a regular clientele of pets who have special needs, pets who experience anxiety or separation anxiety, some who are deaf or blind, others who are elderly, have injuries or health issues. These special needs sweethearts are always welcome on my schedule. My entire life I’ve had a passion for animals, so much so I’ve made it my career. I mean, who doesn’t want to spend all their time with animals!? I'm looking for opportunities to fulfill my passion, this is where you and your family come in! Upon scheduling, I will request a “Meet & Greet” at your home, which is required before any services are rendered. This gives your pet and I the opportunity to meet and get to know each other, this also lets your baby get familiar with my scent so I’m not a stranger entering your home. During this time we will go over your pets routine, any rules (whether they rule the house or you do, I’m here for it all), you can also show me around your home and go over any special instructions or medications. This is the ideal time to give me a key or code to enter (should we decide to work together). This visit is of course no charge. A little bit about each service: Walks- 30 min walk. Your choice of leisure walks with lots of sniffing and exploring (your dogs version of reading the morning news paper or as I call it, checking “Peemails”) or focused, brisk walks for exercise and winding down. Please have a leash and harness or collar, that fits correctly with no rips or tears. *Clients who are seeking my walking services, once the temperature reaches 84° I will not be available for walks, unless the morning or evening temp is at or under 84°, which I can walk with them then. The asphalt is too hot and heat stroke is a risk at that temperature. Exceptions are made for potty walks as long as there is shade. Drop-in Visits- 30 minute visit includes: Playtime, snuggles, feeding, medication administration, walking, potty breaks and treats. House sitting- 3 different options to choose from (please include which option will work best with your family in the initial booking request): Option 1. Overnight only- $150 1st dog (Additional dog $25): Arriving at your home around 9pm (8pm available) staying the night until around 6am the next morning. Includes plant watering, bringing in the mail, putting trash cans out and some other household duties. Option 2. Overnight with a mid day drop-in- $175 1st dog (Additional dog $25): Includes all of option 1, plus a drop-in visit midday for potty breaks, play and snuggles. Option 3. Daytime & Overnight stay- $250 1st dog (Additional dog $25): Includes all of options 1 & 2, plus coming and going throughout the rest of the day. *For Rover Holiday dates & puppy care, inquire about pricing ‼️Please include which house sitting option you’d like in your initial booking request‼️ I am available full time, early mornings, mid-days, late nights, even overnight stays, any length of stay, be it one day or 6 months long, this is my only job, allowing me to cater to you and your pets needs. I am willing to be as flexible as possible to make your time away from your pets 110% stress free for all of you. My availability is wide open, including most holidays (book early as these dates fill up fast) and some last minute requests. Same day bookings are available for walks and drop-ins, I typically require a 7 day notice for all bookings, but life can be unpredictable, so I offer same day bookings for an extra charge. Same day bookings are an additional $5. you will see this as an "Additional Charge" on your Rover invoice. ‼️THE ROVER APP HAS A GLITCH, THEIR CALENDAR FOR ME IS NOT CORRECT, PLEASE SEND A REQUEST EVEN IF IT SAYS THAT I AM UNAVAILABLE, AS I AM MOST LIKELY AVAILABLE‼️ I am also able to travel with you and your pet family for any vacation needs. I can drive your pets should flying not be an option. Please inquire further for this service. Safety always comes first. Absolutely trust that all of my attention will be on your pets for the entirety of the stay. This gives me the opportunity to give you a detailed update on your pets during our visit (I will write these updates during the visit, as well as taking pictures). Each visit I will send over the 4-6 photos I took of each pet as well as the detailed update I wrote. Your home as well as your pets, will be treated with the utmost respect, I will treat them like they are my own. I’m very cautious of making sure gates, pool gates and locks are always secured for your pet and homes safety. Speaking of safety, security cameras are not just acceptable, they are encouraged, for your piece of mind as well as in case of an emergency, typically I can be to your home within minutes if you see something concerning.

“Megan was fantastic! She was very engaged throughout the day and our pup came home completely exhausted... which is a wonderful thing! We will absolutely work with Megan, again.”

“Joseph went above and beyond taking care of my two pups. He gave frequent updates and accommodated special needs instructions. We are very pleased with his service. 100% recommend!”
“Jennifer is absolutely incredible with Charlie and all the dogs! She loves them and it’s obvious when you go for pickup and they do not want to leave - HIGHLY recommend!!”

“Jack had a blast staying with Valerie and Kevin. He did lots of running and playing came back home and slept all afternoon. Next up he’s doing boarding, I’m sure he’ll have a blast!”

“Wendy took excellent care of our girl, Ruby. Our dog sitting request was very last minute, and Wendy was able to accommodate us. She was very easy to communicate with and did send pics/videos to update us on all their fun. We would definitely have Wendy watch Ruby again when we’re in Sedona next.”

“Deborah explained everything in a very professional and thorough way before accepting Remy’s stay. Even right before we dropped him off at her home, she made sure I understood what Remy would and wouldn’t experience during his stay. That gave me great peace of mind about leaving my pup with her. I believe Remy really enjoyed his stay—he completely passed out during the 15-minute drive home!”

Leia is an absolute gem of a dog sitter! Gus absolutely adores her, the proof is in how he sprinted straight to her door, tail wagging like crazy, the very next time we dropped him off. He clearly felt safe and loved. We’ve already rebooked with her for future stays and will keep coming back every chance we get. If you’re looking for someone who truly loves dogs and treats them like family, Leia is the one. Thank you, Leia—you’ve made Gus (and me!) so happy! 🐾❤️

Our two dogs had a great time staying with Mimi! The older of the two is a little emo, so it was great to see pictures of them relaxed and cuddling right away as if they'd been there a dozen times. We were able to enjoy our time away knowing the boys were with a caring and attentive person who really made them feel "at home". All the stars from me, and paws up from Pharaoh and Valor, we look forward to booking with Mimi again!

During a short visit to Phoenix, I needed last minute care for my boy Chaco. I reached out to Sara and her team and they were willing to accommodate my short notice and schedule and provided Chaco with a great time, even during the hot summer days. Sara and her team were awesome to say the least! I highly would recommend them and would use their services again.
