***Now accepting new pack members!*** If you have a well socialized dog that can play gentle with Cats, a Land Tortoise, and other Dogs both Large and Small, you'll fit in with our current pack very nicely! Senior and Special Needs Dogs Welcome too! I have a special place in my heart for these sweet souls, often rearranging the entire house and always going the extra mile to accommodate pups that need a bit of extra attention to have a safe and fun time here... In fact, Ziggy the Deaf white Boxer is the Host of our Doggie Daycare and Overnight Boarding! He communicates with sign language, and we find that many of his friends pick up on his hand signals like "Let's go outside" which is always a lot of fun. Ziggy is 8 years old, so he plays with the high energy of a Boxer all morning, and then he naps all day, so he enjoys both high energy and low energy friends, and he makes sure everyone has the type of environment they need, whether its playtime or naptime. I've been caring for lots of different animals for more than 30 years, from domestic to exotic species. I've received training to work with Special Needs Animals, and I've also completed academic course work in Dog Psychology. I consider it a true blessing when any creature crosses my path... I adore getting to know each one on a truly genuine level, always adjusting my approach and even the environment as needed. Every pet is made to feel at home, so they experience a truly joyful and magical day... as you'll see with the photos and videos I send your way! Accidents happen, furniture takes a beating, gardens get uprooted, and innocent faces and puppy dog eyes emerge through it all! Distraction, positive reinforcement and an excellent sense of humor is my response when mischief occurs... I've seen it all! Someone is usually home 24/7 with the pack. We reserve short excursions out of the house during slower times when there are fewer dogs visiting, so your baby will be personally supervised for the majority of their stay. I also have cameras to monitor the fun when we step out. All pups that visit for Daycare or Boarding mingle and share all living spaces and the yard. Therefore, care is taken to ensure that all the dogs will share toys and play nicely with one another. Introductions are taken slowly, and compatible groupings are planned out ahead of time, so I do recommend booking in advance. If you're booking an overnight stay, and your dog has never been here before, we'll need to book at least one day of Doggie Daycare ahead of time so I can see how your baby fits into the daily routine with the Cats and other Dogs, before proceeding with an overnight stay. This also helps your pup feel comfortable and loved when they return for their Staycation!

Marisa went above and beyond for my 12 year old girl. She made she there were carpeted paths around the house because her old legs have trouble on hardwood floor. She sent the cutest pictures/videos too! It was so nice to know she was safe and loved while I was away
Noodle and I are so happy we found Marisa! I work very long and unpredictable hours and she was super flexible. I loved the photos she sent throughout the day and Noodle had a blast in her huge backyard! We will definitely be going back!

Schedule
A typical day for your baby would include outdoor games and play with Ziggy and I all morning! When we venture indoors, we do treat time and curl up on the sofas for cuddles and naps. When everyone gets their second wind, we do more fun games and snack time, with everyone posing for a big group pic! Care is always taken to give each Dog what they need though... If sunbathing and some alone time is preferred, we make sure the day is individualized for each visitor.

Safety, trust & environment
Our fenced in yard is 1/3 of an acre with lots of shady areas, making it perfect for supervised fun and games. Dogs are never left in the yard alone, if they're outside I am too! The pups also rule the furniture indoors for comfy naps and cuddles! I take 5-6 dogs each day from different families, so I do ensure that everyone can share toys and play nicely with a group of friendly pups and the two Cats.

A typical day
I find its always best to duplicate your babies home environment as much as possible while you're away, so when your pup comes to stay with us, please feel free to bring all their favorite things like a blankie or a toy to help them settle into a familiar routine, keeping in mind of course, that all the visiting dogs might consider these things their favorite too! (We do have plenty of toys, treats, dog bowls, blankies, and beds here if you think your baby will be just as comfortable with ours). Dog adventures are adapted to personality and energy levels... ranging from games and enrichment activities, to exploratory meanderings and naps in the sun when this is preferred. Your pups will go home tired and happy after a day of fun while you're at work, or a peaceful night's rest while you're away... with all the comforts of home that make the day special.
